We have been in business for over 27 years and are Nastec and NATE certified. We do over 20,000 service calls per year and about 50% of those are from repeat and referral business. A couple of reasons for that are: we GET OUT the SAME DAY and we have our own training facility where our techs are kept up to date on all the industry changes and not necessarily on your equipment. We are master plumbers, master electricians, and an HVAC company so if you have any needs in these areas let us know.

They disappointed, shady, my house is tore apart for 6 days. Took them 2 visits to diagnose the part. I feel like I am getting ripped off based on the amount the part cost versus what I am getting charged. I understand there is going to be some upcharge but between the two parts he found i could have bought a brand new washer. I have used this Action appliance several times over the years and I have never had problems. I asked to speak to the owner or asked the owners name and the person on the phone did not want to give me the information she said she was the office manager.

They were supposed to show up between 12 pm - 4 pm for an emergency repair. The tech did not show up until 8:30 pm. Charged me $275 to install a thermostat and $610 for a simple stove repair. This company took advantage of me because they knew I was desperate to get it fixed. Very evil company. Called customer service and they were unwilling to refund any portion of the job. Beware of them, do not hire them. They should be removed from HomeAdvisor as quickly as possible!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Horrible customer service. They RIP YOU OFF big times by not breaking down the cost of repair vs. cost of parts. The equipment they fixed for me was under warranty, but I cannot get reimbursed because Action does not want to disclose what the cost of the part was. Paid $600 overall and now, because they refused to cooperate, I went on-line to see what I could buy the part for. Multiple internet sites have this part for $95. I assume it costs Action even less to get it from their distributor. So, essentially, the labor rate they charged me would be equivalent to somewhere between $550 to $1,100 an hour, as it took the technician less than an hour to replace it. Lawyers charge less an hour than these guys!!! I wish I have read some reviews before I have chosen them, but when your furnace is not working in a middle of winter, you just want to go with the first company available. DISHONEST business. Stay away from them if you can.

We had our washer go out and brought them in to take a look on Dec 21st. They quoted us $600 and we had them order the part. After looking at pricing on a new washer, we decided it made more sense to buy new. When we called to cancel the repair they wanted to charge us 25%. Decided not to raise a fuss, though we let them know that we had tenants who needed access to a washer, so the timing was important. The part was supposed to be in on the 29th, but it took quite a bit longer. The service was pushed out twice because they were too busy and each time I reiterated that the time was a big issue for us. They got out 12/31 but the part they ordered was not compatible with the washer. The tech said that they would contact me to discuss options the next day. After not hearing from them all morning, I called to discuss and they had already ordered the replacement part. I demanded that they cancel the job and I would happily pay the restock fee and trip fee to be done with them. They not only insisted that the 25% cancellation fee would still apply but tacked on the trip fee on top! After communicating that I was about to lose my renters, I threatened to call in their charge as fraudulent to my bank, but they did not budge. With no leverage, I agreed to wait till the part came in and finish up the service. The part was delayed, of course, and it took till 1/8 (19 days!) to get the repair done. They never once offered to discount charges or credit account, though one representative did apologize once. The only good thing about the experience was the tech (Jessie) was great. Go elsewhere!

This guy did not know what he was doing. The problem was the food was freezing in the refrigerator. He told me it was baffle (?) and would be $400+ for the part, and then labor on top of that, and he was 90% sure it would fix it. Then I said what about the sensor panel on the front door that had the temperature controls that did not work? Oh, he did not notice that! Then looked up the price of that panel...$670 plus labor to install. I asked if that would fix it, again he was 90% sure. I said if it does not will I have to install the baffle then? Well, maybe. Either way, it would be at least 10 days before we could get part in, and he could fix it. My impression was he was totally incompetent. I said well, for that kind of money, I will just buy a new refrigerator. Then he said you can not buy a refrigerator in Denver right now, they are all out! Really? Now I know he was untruthful too. I bought a new refrigerator that day and it was delivered the next day. I think I am owed back the money I paid him as a service call.

Absolutely the worst customer service in the history of business!! I had an emergency service needed for one of my customers and everything seemed fine. They showed up at the job site at 7pm which is cool and quoted me $59.95(Reasonable)for the trip charge which is waived if you decide to move forward with the repair. The Tech didn't have any equipment to do the job and had to come back the following day between 8-noon. Total cost of repair was quoted $602...umm okay sure. What I didn't know is they charge your card before services are rendered and was NOT properly explained. The following day I text my customer to lmk how it went. With no response back I figured the customer was still getting repaired so I called at noon to see how things were going and low and behold the Tech hadn't arrived yet without calling the customer to inform them of the late arrival. Just so you know the Tech didn't arrive till 3hrs later than the scheduled time. I'm highly displeased with the lack of professionalism and wouldn't recommend this company if they don't fix this issue

John B was great, and I would rate him highly; however Action Applianceâ s customer service has a lot to be desired!! They committed to be out to install the board in our dishwasher, giving us a time frame that they would be back by 4pm, and at 3:38pm dispatch called stating he was running behind and wouldnt be out until 7 or 8 Thursday night. Frustration: 1) waited all afternoon for someone to come, and when I got a call, no apology, and ended with me being in tears; 2) understanding John had another job he got tied up on, instead of sending someone else out to get the job done, as committed, rescheduled for after Christmas, resulting in us spending a good part of Christmas Day washing and drying dishes!!!! If John B worked for another company we would want to hire him if needed, but we wont support a company that doesnt keep commitments.

I used this group to diagnose a washer issue. They sent a technician out and determined it was a broken pump, cost $460. The issue was not resolved and they sent a technician out a 2nd time and said it was a broken pressure switch. I agreed to pay for only the actual cost of the pressure switch since they misdiagnosed the issue the first time. Sent me a 2nd bill for $190 for the pressure switch, and refuse to send an actual invoice for the cost of the part. Will not return my calls or provide an actual invoice for the part per our agreement. Pressure switches do not cost $190. Would not use them again or trust them. Washer was $800 new and 14 months old, very unlikely two parts failed.

Technician came out same day. He was very pleasant. Decided that the compressor and evaporator needed replacement. Unfortunately, their pricing is so high that the repair would cost more than the refrigerator cost, and they had a problem working with the warranty company that was willing to provide the compressor under my extended warranty. So I'm nw looking for a company that will take the supplied compressor and do the remainder of the repair for a reasonable price. Overall, my experience was positive, but it just didn't work out for my situation.
