Description of Work: Excellent reroofing project. Highly recommended by both me and my wife. Sub contractors not used as all operatives are direct employees. We would recommend A++ for this contractor. |They also installed a solar operated sky light and new 5" guttering and down pipes.

Description of Work: Time was running out to secure estimates for replacing 100 ft + of gutter and install downspout and drip edge.Without this work, the likelihood of ice in the gutters, icicles, ice dams, and ice on the ground was undesirable and foreboding. Unlike the other two roofing/downspout companies identified through Angie's List or other reviews as reliable, Academy Roofing Inc fulfilled the following: 1) prompt connection with a live rep at the office who listened and communicated precisely and left little to misunderstanding 2) prompt call from the estimator to schedule date asap for estimation purposes 3) dependable arrival on scheduled date to estimate 4) courteous phone call to announce 15 min delay in arriving 5) thorough examination of roof + clear and detailed photos on I-Pad of problem areas 6) thorough and patient explanation of work proposed 7) patient and courteous commitment on estimator's part to confirm customer's questions and requests 8) delivery via internet of detailed line-item proposal with i-pad pics of highlighted work proposed 9) reliable communication between office and customer throughout process 10) completion of proposed work to satisfaction of client and exactly as proposed

I was impressed with the companies willingness to work with me, Jeff offered me different choices so I could work with-in my budget, and yet make the best choice for me. Need a new roof, call Jeff for an estimate, you'll see what I mean!

Description of Work: We had a "solar tube" in our concrete roof that was leaking. They repaired that and replaced any cracked tiles on the roof. The work was delayed due to rain but it was finally completed and seems to be just fine now. They were courteous and cleaned up after the work was completed.

Description of Work: Stripped old wooden shakes from huge, high-peaked roof. Laid plywood over whole roof. Set cushion and DaVinci tiles on the roof, put on long seamless gutters in the perfect color. They did the job for the money they estimated, and on time. The salesman helped me negotiate with my insurance company to get a larger amount -- just clarifying why it was so high. The daily work crew worked hard and long, and cleaned up perfectly every day, and took extra pains to get everything right, even recovering vents with new metal covers in the same color as the gutters. Then, at the end of the job, their accounts receivable person helped us get the bank to release the insurance check. This is a big, beautiful job. Academy Roofing really knows their stuff, and they deliver.

Description of Work: Originally got bid for the whole roof plus replacement of some gutter. Decided to wait on the roof and do the smaller job first. Gutter install was perfect; they were able to improve the slope so drainage from our large and old roof is now flowing well. Communication was excellent. There was always a person at their business office to talk to and they could pull up our information and knew exactly what was going on and who was responsible. When the time comes to do the much bigger job of the roof, we expect to call them back.
