I contacted Mr.Neiman in late July, and we scheduled a home visit for 7/31/13. He arrived promptly, and we spent over an hour discussing the job. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything about the work that was needed. He answered all my questions. I expalined that I wanted affordable materials without sacrificing quality, and that I had a budget on how much I could spend. He said he would include a budgeted amount for materials in the estimate. He was not in a hurry and listened well. On 8/7/13, he called and we agreed he would come over on 8/12 with the estimate, which he did. I had a chance to review it with him and ask any questions I had. BTW, I had 5 providers do an estimate, and he was the only one who presented it to me with the opportunity to review it with him directly. After I received the other estimates, I did not choose Mr. Neiman for the job because his price was more than I could afford. I do, however, recommend him to others because he is very knowledgeable, patient with potential clients with lots of questions, and I beleive an honest and good person.
