Arrived well within estimated timeframe. Lou is very nice, professional, thorough. Service for air conditioner was quick. I plan to call in the fall for the heater service.

Our A/C had stopped working and the weather was starting to get pretty warm, so we checked Angie's List for recommendations for a service provider. Rocky Mountain Heat contacted me right away to schedule, they showed up on time, and quickly figured out the problem (someone had knocked a connection loose). He went out of his way to secure the connection so that it wouldn't be so easily knocked out again, and then he checked the rest of our system. Found no other problems, didn't charge us anything extra. Fast, polite, and knowledgeable. Can't beat that!

Jeff was punctual, professional and answered all our questions that we had regarding routine maintenance of our AC unit. He was fair in his assessment and didn't charge us much at all when we needed to add refridgerant to the system. He was done in 40 mins. Exactly what you would expect from a recommended Angies List provider

Everything went great, he charged me the service call fee and that was it after diagnosing the issue, he did not try to sell me anything I did not need.

My furnace stopped working on Thursday morning and I called Rocky Mountain Heat. They answered my call and said they could likely see me the same day, but would call me back once they checked on availability. Sure enough they called back and said Jeff would call between noon and 1:00 when he was on my way to my house. He called about 12:40 and was correct on his estimate to be at my house at about 1:00. Jeff arrived and was professional and courteous. He very quickly got my furnace started. Although he suspected that the furnace overheated and the shut itself off due to a very old filter he stuck around for about an hour ensuring that things looked good and cleaned off the heat sensor. During that time he explained a few things about my furnace to me which was very helpful. He also looked over my water heater and pointed out a couple very small leaks just to watch. I was charged the service fee as expected and Jeff was on his way. My furnace has been working fine for the last couple of days since Jeff was here. This was a very good overall experience and I would use them again.

Called in to get ask for someone to come out and service my water heater. Described the problem and they helped me troubleshoot the issue on my own. They very easily could have sent someone out and charged me but they just told me the (very simple) fix over the phone and I was able to fix it myself. I would highly recommend them.

I called Monday afternoon, spoke with owner Lou; he said he would have technician Jeff call me when he could be out. Next morning first thing Jeff called and was over in an hour. Very friendly and personable. I asked him to address the humidifier issue; he fairly quickly diagnosed bad solenoid, and found one available 5 minutes away, went and got it, installed and works perfectly. Then he inspected and cleaned the furnace, tightened up a part where some leakage was occurring. He was here for an hour or so and left me with a perfectly functioning furnace and humidifier. In addition, extensive discussion about the hot water heater (it's 9 years old) - options for the next replacement, etc. Great experience!

Fantastic owner and serviceman. They were prompt and professional. They spent an extra hour trying to fish 220 power through a finished ceiling to avoid having to make a cut. They Helped us fix an Area that needed more airflow and cold air and additional return vent return to make my furnace even more efficient. They came back a week later and spent several hours getting the outside temperature sensor all the way across the wall to the most optimal spot. They explained everything to me and helped me to understand a complicated heating system. They are fantastic people who really care about doing the job right!! Cost was a bit high but still fair considering their quality work. I recommend them very highly.

Service man actually arrived a day early but it was OK because I was at home on vacation. He was courteous and professional and I assume he did what he came to do.

He was great. Checked everything out. Told me about a filter on the outside of the air condenser that needed to be cleaned between tune ups. He was very knowledgeable about upcoming regulations when I questioned him about them. I highly recommend this company.

We were in something of a bind when we learned that our pending house sale required a new furnace. In spite of his busy schedule, Lou understood our situation and worked us in the very next day. His crew was knowledgeable, efficient and polite . . . and took the time to service our central air free of charge when I asked if they could do the job. The entire furnace installation was completed in less than a day, and the new beast works great. We highly recommend Rocky Mountain Heat to anyone in need of furnace repair or replacement.

The work was done quickly and no issues discovered. Some suggestions were made on sight improvements, but no follow-through discussion occurred. Lou was friendly and easy to talk with.

Lou and his crew installed a great swamp cooler. We were replacing our old one and Lou gave us good facts and prices, which allowed us to make an educated decision. We also had Lou install a second vent, in what turned out to be a tricky spot. The guys worked hard and did a terrific job. Our new swamp cooler was put in quickly and very professionally. They cleaned up everything and were very efficient. Lou even came back on a Saturday to finish a couple of last details, rather than making us until Monday. We will definitely use Rocky Mountain Heat. Their prices were good, work was of high quality and timely.

I called them and left a message on a Tuesday afternoon. My call was returned wednesday morning. I was told a tech would be in touch and be out that day. I never received a call form a tech nor did one show up...I called the office around 5pm to find out they forgot to send a tech...

Service was performed by Jeff, who arrived when scheduled and promptly diagnosed the problem. He had to get a replacement master control board for my furnace, which he did and returned the same day to install it. System works fine, and Jeff and his assistant also made a minor modification to my furnace at no charge to improve the filtering of the air blown through it. My only issue with Rocky Mountain Heat was: Initially, over the phone, the company person thought it would likely be the blower motor, and said it would cost about $450. When Jeff diagnosed it to be the master control board, he said it would be about the same cost as the blower motor. However, the final charge was $575, which I paid. I talked to Lou, the owner of Rocky Mountain Heat, the next day - to understand the difference in the charge. He said my furnace was a Carrier, which has some of the most expensive parts. Lou did say that I should have been informed in advance of the increase in the estimate - so that's why I rated them and quot;Band quot; on cost. Overall, I recommend them highly. I contacted several other HVAC companies from Angie's List when the blower went out. Rocky Mountain Heat offered the quickest service.

Lou came over quickly and fixed problem #1 within minutes of his arrival. But I had another problem with my 2nd condenser that Lou wanted to call in a couple of his guys to look at. So they needed a 2nd visit. No problem. Lou's guys came over soon after and addressed the 2nd issue easily and quickly. What I thought was going to be an extremely expensive problem turned into a minor $300 fix. I'm so happy. Lou is my HVAC from now on.Seriously. Don't hesitate to call this guy.

We were very happy with Rocky Mountain Heat - from the initial visit and estimate, through our communications afterwards, all the way through the installation. Lou was patient when we changed around some of the equipment, and was nice about re-pricing the installation. Most of all, they did a terrific installation job - the inspector even commented on what a clean, quality job it was. Thank you, Lou. We look forward to working with you in the future.

Great service. Lou took his time and went over the entire heating system and gave advice on where improvements could be made without looking for a sale. I will go back to Rocky Mountain Heat whenever I have heating or AC needs in the future.

They came out on a short notice which I was happy with because it was during summer and it's hard to get anybody but the owner came out solved it. He did the job and I really appreciated it. They were reliable and standing behind their product.

It went fine. The guy that came out was very nice. They did a good job and they were not overly priced.

Without giving all the details, I'll just say Lou came in and fixed a problem that another company couldn't figure out and did it in less than 10 minutes. I'll never call anyone else when I need help with HVAC. He's very professional and honest. Call this guy!!!
