+ -1 moreWe're going to find another clock repair with better customer service, we hope.
Description of Work: Left 2 cuckoo clocks for estimates - they didn't call with estimate so I called after a few days. Estimates were outrageous in my opinion - way over what we'd paid for them (one of which was bought there - and the girl denied that we'd purchased it there) not a good way to treat a customer.

+ -1 moreThe clock was repaired and works as it should. However, it took 7 months to get it back instead of the 2 months the shop owner had estimated. During that time, we called and left messages several times, but never got a call back.
Description of Work: Repaired cuckoo clock that had stopped working.

+ -1 moreA friend had recommended this business, and I might give them another try some time simply because there are so few clock repair businesses in the northern Denver area. They have some lovely clocks on display and seem to know their business, though they aren't the most proactive in terms of customer service.
Description of Work: I brought my parents' 40-year-old Black Forest cuckoo clock in because one of the hands was broken (it flops down). Seemed like a simple fix, but when I called back several days later (b/c I hadn't heard from anyone though I'd been told I'd get a call in 2-3 days) I was told the bearings/bushings were all shot and the clock would need a major overhaul. When I balked at the estimated price (ca $200) the woman on the phone said the technician could do a lesser repair for $65 that might fix the problem. I agreed to that, but then a few days later I got a call from the business saying it wouldn't do to do the lesser repair...so I picked up the clock and it's back home, with a broken hand (but it does wind and tick and cuckoo--just doesn't tell the time!).

+ -1 moreThis company was very helpful. They clean and went over the clock and in a very short time, had our clock back to us. It is working like a charm now. It is great to have it back home.
Description of Work: We had purchsed a coo-coo clock in Germany in March. We have really enjoyed it. The clock stopped keeping time recently and that is why we took it in for repair.

+ -1 moreTHE PERSON I WORKED WITH WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT POCKET WATCHES AND OLD CLOCKS. HIS ACCENT MADE IT HARD TO UNDERSTAND HIM BUT HE WAS FULL OF INFORMATION AND VERY NICE. I HAD TO LEAVE THE WATCHES THERE FOR THE ACTUAL WRITTEN EVALUATION.
Description of Work: GAVE ME WRITTEN ESTIMATE OF THE VALUE OF TWO ANTIQUE POCKET WATCHES THEY ALSO SHINED THEM UP.

+ -1 moreMY OVERALL EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN VERY GOOD THERE. THE SHOP IS VERY NICE AND THEY HAVE A LARGE SELECTION OF CLOCKS, WATCHES AND OTHER JEWELRY. THE JEWELER HAS ALWAYS REPLACED OUR WATCH BATTERIES QUICKLY, AND AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE.
Description of Work: I HAD A WATCH BATTERY REPLACED RECENTLY. WHENEVER ANYONE IN MY FAMILY NEEDS A WATCH BATTERY REPLACED, I TAKE IT THERE.
