He just told me to turn it off really tight, and I did that even before it was fixed. It ended up getting worse. They were also very expensive. They also were not supposed to wear shoes, which they did wear protectors, but when I went upstairs there was a shoe print on my white carpet.
Description of Work: He attempted to fix my bathroom shower, it kept dripping.

The work involved replacing two outdoor faucets and adding basement cutoff valves so that if they failed in the future I would not need to cutoff water to the entire house. The work was done quickly and professionally. The price, however, was more than twice the price (high end of the range) that a Google search indicated for Denver. Checked with my brother in law who is a plumber in another state and he said I paid way too much for what was done.
Description of Work: I had two outdoor faucets replaced and the toilet valve.

I originally Googled for a plumber and found Plumb Pros that way. I called them initially for some work on a house I was selling. I was happy with the service and called them for a second service on the house I was selling. After moving in to a new house, we found several small leaks and other plumbing issues. One of the leaks had caused some ceiling damage so I called right away on Sunday afternoon to see if anyone was available to come that day. Phil, the owner, took my call and immediately checked to see if someone was available. We couldn't get anyone that day but someone would be at our house first thing the next morning. The next day David and Alfredo were at our house just after 8 AM. These are the same two that performed the services on our last house. We liked that it was the same guys. It was great already being familiar with them. My husband showed them all the work that needed to be done and before anything was done, they provided a detailed quote. We were having a tankless water heater installed so the bill was quite high but that's what it costs. The guys were professional and courteous throughout the day. They kept me up to date on their progress. They let me know when they were doing something that would effect water usage and when they needed to turn things on and off. Unfortunately, installing a tankless water heater is a long process and the guys were here for about 14 hours. It didn't bother us but we felt bad that the day was so long for them. However, it didn't bother them at all. They never showed even a hint of slowing down or being upset that they were here so late. They said this is the job and sometimes it takes time. I was impressed with their positive attitude all day. I could tell they had pride for the work they do and for providing good customer service. Towards the end of the project, two more plumbers, one being the owner, showed up to help finish the job and they were very concerned for the inconvenience to us but we were fine. They finished the job just before midnight. They cleaned the area completely. No mess. No water. They showed me all the work that had been done and provided me with a full detailed invoice. The one thing I wish they would have done that they didn't is to tell us at the beginning about how long the project would take. We didn't mind that it took so long but it would have helped plan the day and evening with my kids had I known ahead of time what to expect but that was a very small criticism. We will use Plumb Pros again. I feel like they're our personal plumbers.
Description of Work: Service furnace, replaced two yard faucets, installed kitchen faucet and removed an instant hot water spigot, checked for leaks on washer drain, installed emergency shut off for kitchen sink, installed tankless water heater and removed two existing water heaters, opened ceiling where water leak was showing.

So So. Jack said the "pigtail" from old disposal was too short so left disposal unhooked. Dave now used same cord and completed the hook up - cord actually too long. No copy of invoice. Jack worked fast - no wasted time. Also sprayer hose was wrapped around pipes - had to untangle.
Description of Work: Hooked up new kitchen sink, which involved cutting though back of cabinet to reach the pipes and moving garbage disposal to the opposite side. Disposal installed also. Faucet and soap dispenser also installed.

I called the day before and got a great receptionist who answered the phone. I explained what we needed and was quoted $29 for the service call, $99 for a secondary drain clean, and I believe $149 for a main drain clean. Since I had just had my main cleared out a week before by another provider, I expected the cost to be the lower of the two. We scheduled an appointment for the next day between 8:30 and 9:30 in the morning. The next day I received a call around 8:20 saying that a repairman had been dispatched and would be here in the next hour. An hour went by and no repairman. An hour and 15 minutes later we received another call saying he was stuck in traffic. I understand traffic during rush hour can be a nightmare, but I wouldn't expect the delay to be that long especially since we aren't incredibly far from the main office. An hour past our appointment window the man finally showed up. I showed him what we had, explained the problem and he explained they are a flat fee company and he would get his book and show us what we would pay. Again, I expected the cost to be close to what was quoted. Unfortunately my husband signed the "ok" before I had a chance to see it and we ended up paying around $280 for a secondary drain clean. WAY over what I could've paid the previous provider for. I found the company through KLOVE and expected great service and reasonable pricing. What I got was professional, great service and outrageous pricing. I doubt we'll use them again.
Description of Work: We needed to have a secondary drain cleaned out as it had a clog and was causing the washing machine and dishwasher draining to overflow and cause a flood in our basement.

Plumb Pros looked at my unit, then recommended a new furnace and wrote a bid for about $5,000. They also suggested I get a new air conditioner, etc, etc. Then, I called Cooper Heating and Cooling for a second bid. They fixed the furnace in about 20 minutes for $400 and now it runs like a charm. Here's the kicker: The part that Cooper replaced to make my furnace run properly? It was an incorrect ignition part that Plumb Pros installed last year.
Description of Work: My furnace was not running consistently. I called Plumb Pros for service and troubleshooting of the unit.

The notes above describes the full story.
Description of Work: I contacted Plumb Pro's and set up an appointment to have an AC Basic Inspection be performed on 17 May 2011. In my discussion with the company representative, she noted that the outside air temperature had to be 70 degrees F or higher. On the 17th the temperature would not even be close so I called and the representative agreed we should postpone the appointment to 24 May. Due to unusual weather, the high temperature on the 24th was forecast to be only 64 degrees so I called and we agreed to postpone the appointment to 31 May 2011 between 3-5 PM. At 3 PM my wife received a call that the service person would not arrive until 5-6 PM. The service person not only did not arrive during the period 5-6, he/she did not call or even show up at all! I am composing these comments on 1 June at 5 PM and we have not heard a word from this company. I strongly recommend no one take off from work believing that this company is responsive to any business agreement.
