It has been awful. The result has been multiple sink holes including one 4 foot wide. His behavior, the follow-up, has been atrocious.

Tom was wonderful! Arrived on time and efficiently replaced our drain. He was very honest and comfortable to be around. He even added a patch to the ceiling so we did not have an open hole. As woman I would have felt totally safe to have Tom around even if my husband was not home! I will use Payless Plumbing, heating and drain cleaning again!!!

Called on a cold Sunday looking for help with a dead furnace. They answered all of my initial questions on the phone and had someone en route quickly -- all while similar surrounding businesses were closed or unavailable. The tech arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the issue, repaired the broken part with a higher quality component, then ensured that everything was operating as it should. They were friendly, professional, and, best of all, available to assist when no one else would. I will definitely be going back to them for future HVAC needs.

The team from Payless was very quick in getting an estimate and taking into consideration the location of our existing water heater. They also addressed my questions and concerns about the specifics of our situation, and the water heater they recommended does the job very well. The pilot light went out after installation, and the team came back evaluate the problem & fixed it nicely. The water heater has been installed for almost 6 months at this point, and works well; no more issues. A smaller high-recovery tank works for our tight space & keeps up with demand if only one shower runs at a time.

I found out that I had a leak in my supply line to my kitchen sink in the middle of the night. The next morning I called a number of plumbing outfits to get someone out to my house on such short notice. Payless said they could get here in a couple of hrs, which I greatly appreciated. I asked them how much it would cost me and the price seemed reasonable. The technician arrived,assesed the leak and gave me a price $25 over what was told to me over the phone. He also said he could do both for $75 more. He did not explain WHAT he was going to do. I was assuming he was going to have to work on the pipe, not just replace a couple of hoses at that price. Here again, I felt ripped off by another plumbing outfit.

He was on time and very polite and friendly. He explained to me what needed to be done and what my options where before any work was done. He cleaned up all of his mess before leaving.

Great responsiveness, they were early! And the two plumbers worked as a team one installing the new toilet and the other installing the water line to the refrigerator. Great work, rechecked all lines for leaks, found one and went to the hardware store and installed a new good line. Their pricing was very competitive and their work impeccable.

We originally had a bid to replace a water heater, install the new one in a different location, and install a new floor drain to service the appliance. They were professional and 100% attitude free (which is rare these days). The original bid was mainly for a water heater. I had already researched what I wanted and asked for a bid for that specific model. He tried his best to call around and try and get the heater for the same price as I had found, but was unable to and actually advised me to purchase it myself and then gave me a bid for installation only. The price was in line with the other bids I had received, but in the end I elected to purchase it online and install it myself. To my surprise, right AFTER I had ordered it the price online went up $200! We still needed a floor drain though and we decided to go with these guys since they we liked them way more than the other 3 or 4 bids we had (from highly rated Angie's list companies). Having the price about half of the others didn't hurt any either. We called them and told them we were interested in the drain only and someone came out 2 days later and installed it PERFECTLY. They also gave us the courtesy of keeping the original price even though they originally intended it to be in conjunction with the heater install. He also was nice enough to give me advice on a few things for my DIY install. Highly recommended. Great price, great customer service, and above all excellent work.
