I can't recommend Keith highly enough. We have a 1970s house that needs a lot of updating, and I plan to work with Keith for a very long time! Because Keith is an artist as well as a master craftsman, we get to have the benefit of his artistic eye in helping us choose materials and designs. His work is very professional, and he is committed to getting things done the right way. As another benefit, he's just a great guy, and we enjoy having him around, always a plus for remodeling!

This was our second experience with Keith, and it was excellent. Keith showed up when he said he would... even in a snowstorm, and the price was as quoted. He was very professional and we were impressed with the quality of work.

Keith is very enthusiastic and diligent about his work. He was able to offer suggestions and advice about materials, etc. Once he started the job he was consistant about the work until it was completed. The end result was very beautiful with good attention to detail. He charges only for time worked and does not include the time of shopping for materials.

The house was built in 1895 so there were a lot of challenges which required going in the attic through a very small access panel and crawling around in cramped quarters. There were some electrical concerns as well as support issues which Keith approached with great skill and creativity. Each fan had a different problem but he managed to successfully install them all and they look beautiful and are solidly in! We are very pleased with the work and the price and would definitely call him again with confidence in the future!

My experience with Keith was great from start to finish. He was professional from the first phone call and throughout the time he was in our home. He explained what each task would take and about how long he thought it would take. He stuck to the $35 per hour that he quoted. He even offered his opinions on some home improvement projects and ideas that we were thinking about for the future.

Every step of the way Keith showed his customary thoughtfullness and care in every piece of work he did. I was especially impressed in how he researched all of the ADA requirements for the bathroom as well as made modifications to specifically suit my mother's needs.

Keith was great! Not only was he the most knowedgable and thoughtful of the 5 contractors we interviewed for our job, he was the most creative in offering inital suggestions for our remodeling plan as well as coming up with solutions whenever we encountered a problem. He showed himself to be an exceptionally skilled craftsman who devoted himself to making every detail perfect. His sister Shari helped with some of the painting work and was also fantastic. As a bonus, he is fantastic with animals and treated our pets with a great deal of care and respect (oh yea, us too :-). Be prepared for the fact that Keith only works 4-6 hour days, so projects may take longer than you expect, but the wait is well worth it.

Keith does good work and works hard. He's been a blessing, given all the problems with the neglected house that we bought! He charges a flat $30/hour rate. He's also a great guy, friendly and polite. I will continue to use him for all our handyman needs.
