Lucero Fence Co.

As a result of high winds at the end of February, my fence sustained damage. Since I needed to get this repaired, I decided to go ahead and get the front fence and gate replaced at the same time. I emailed and left messages for at least 4 fencing companies and only Chris Lucero of Lucero Fence Co. responded in a very timely manner. He showed up when he said he would, kept me in the loop when he had to delay the project for a day because of weather, and called to let me know that the work was finished. I initially got his name from a neighbor that had used him for their fence. I would recommend him and he will be my first and only call if and when I need to have fencing done again.

Luceros were made aware at the time the contract was signed that I and my neighbors wanted top quality materials used. We have had experience with poor quality fencing materials that we did not want to repeat. Lucero was also told that only top quality , powdered, wrought iron was to be used for my front porch. Neither my neighbors nor I got what we paid for. The quality of the lumber used on the fence was so poor that it began warping within weeks. The wrought iron was also poor quality and not as specified. Lucero had no explanation for either. It was the stuff they always buy from Lowes, he said. It was good enough. They carelessly destroyed plantings when it would have been easy to avoid them. Worst of all was the unnecessary damage that they did to my sprinkler system. Wires for the sprinklers were partially visible on the ground but that didn't alert them to be careful. When sinking the posts they drilled right through the wires and several sprinkler heads and pipes. Lucero refused to be responsible for any of their damages. They told me that I should have read the fine print on their one-page contract, so all repairs were my responsibility. Seems their contract gives them a free pass to destroy customer property. Repairing the damage they caused will cost almost as much as the fencing did. These people were a terrible investment. Especially disappointing since I used the reviews on Angies List to find them.

Excellent. Good work, installed as requested. Cleaned up well once completed the job and pleasant and professional staff.

They did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves and were accommodating (keeping you informed throughout the process).

.It wen't very fast and were good workers. They explained very thing and gave us a time line up front. I would recomend them again

Fantastic. Fantastic. Highly Recommend. Will hire again. It's a family business. A father and two sons. I appreciated their candor, explanation, innovativeness (since I had a big tree to deal with). A very pleasant a team. The fence went up record time. It looks great.
