When I called, I thought that the lady who answered the call to schedule was very helpful and knowledgeable. She tried to resolve problems before sending people out. Once the people came out, they were courteous, knowledgeable and were on time. I liked everything about them.

This fridge is in a rental, my tenant had called someone on their own who came out and found it was the compressor and quoted $1050+tax. I felt for this price I needed to do more homework and determine whether worth fixing or replacing with a cheaper yet good name refrigerator. I called Lee's after researching on Angie's, spoke at length with Gail and although they did not have any time available to send someone out to see it (as we were having 100 degree days suddenly) because A/C repair was urgently needed all over the city, she did spend time discussing the issue with me and also took the time to see what it would cost if they were able to look at it and it was indeed the compressor. Lee's price was $850 + tax. and at that price I felt it was worthwhile to keep the Sub-Zero built in.. just a few hundred dollars less, but made the difference, especially when they would be doing exactly the same job as the other provider, this a no-brainer. So, with just a little begging on my part, I was able to get Gail and Lee's to squeeze me in to evaluate the fridge, sure enough it was the compressor, and they came back quickly to replace it. Otherwise they had offered to drop a temp fridge off to keep the tenant's food cold in the meantime. I felt I had made a friend in Gail and will entrust all 3 of my refrigerators and other applicable appliances to Lee's. If a provider will merely take the time.. to lend an ear and and evaluate your situation.. with honesty and integrity, no hype, no BS, this all it takes folks to gain loyal customers today! ***********A note to my fellow homeowners - even if a company has a great rating on Angies List, still may be worthwhile, to research a few more on Angie's , as each service provider sets their own rates and you may save money working with a smaller professional family-run biz (like Lee's), who may not need to charge as much for labor as a large pro outfit with much more overhead, while you'll still getting the same service or perhaps even better. thanks Gail & Lee's!

I contacted Lee's because my electric wall oven had totally stopped working. I had removed the oven from the wall myself and tested that there was power to the unit, and It seemed most likely that the control panel (a $250 part) had failed. Lee's is willing to do a full diagnostic in their shop for only $30 if you bring the appliance to them, so that is what I did. The control panel was in fact the problem, and they replaced it and fully checked the oven out again for an additional $30. They are easy to reach, responsive and very fair. I had used them for some on-site appliance repairs over 10 years ago and was pleased with the service then.

The repairman first to trouble shoot a leak in the washing machine needing a part, he returned the next day and made the repair. He was under list estimate of $150.

I called Lee's Appliance & Refrigeration Service to fix our refrigerator which quit cooling the night before. The phone was answered right away, and I was asked a few questions about the problem. A tech was scheduled to come out the next day between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. I received a call right around 10:35 a.m. that morning. As soon as I arrived home, the technicians were already there. From the time they looked at my refrigerator to the time they determined the issue and fixed it was only around 15 minutes. The issue was a burned out control board, which to my surprise they had on hand. With a new control board, everything started working properly again. I would definitely use Lee's again!.

Setting the appointment was easy and the service to diagnose and repair an oven pre-heating problem was promptly scheduled. The service person, Eddie, arrived as scheduled and quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced a non functioning oven heating element. Very professional service and price overall.

I called Lee's Appliance after our dishwasher was not draining properly and making a weird noise. A plumber friend came over and advised us that the pump was broke and to buy a new dishwasher. Since this dishwasher was $600 new two years ago we decided to try and have it repaired. I called two different places and Lee's Appliance had the better price to come and work on the dishwasher so I went with them. The technician was honest and told us we didn't need to replace the pump it would be cheaper to just clean out the existing one. He also showed me how to do this ourselves in the future, if something gets caught in it again.

I cannot say enough about this company! They answered immediately when I called, had an appointment for a service man to come to my home the next day, and were able to come sooner than scheduled. After dealing with another company and having them try to completely rip me off; I called Lee's and was treated so fairly. Eddie, the technician called me about an hour before the scheduled time and said he could come out earlier if I was avaliable. He came out a half hour early and was a delight to deal with. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The work took about 20-30 minutes and the cost was less than half of what the other company quoted me. I highly recommend Lee's and will always ask for Eddie!!

They were prompt, came the same day I called or the next day, and were able to repair all of the above.

The service guys showed up in a timely manner, introduced themselves and when right to work. After they discovered the problem they explained what had happen and showed me the crack in the drain pan that was causing the water to leak on the floor. After their work was comp[leted they cleaned up the mess, went over the bill with me and that was it... This was the best service and customer experience I've experienced in a long time. Thanks!

The crew came out the same day I called and immediately went to work diagnosing the problem and fixing the problem. This was a great relief to me asI had a consultant out last year who told me my furnace was notorious for having problems., then he cleaned it and said I needed a new furnace as mine was rusted out and that it was likely to go completely out in a short time. I did not take his advice and managed to get through the winter without buying a new furnace. When I used Angies list to find Lee's Appliance this year, they diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than 1/2 hr. I am an senior widow and am grateful that I ddn't get another "expert" who tried to scam me like last year. Lee's charged me only $90.00 and now I am set for the winter. Lucky me.

They came out the same day we called them and told us there could be 3 problems. They gave me an estimate of $490 if the first 2 things solved the problem. They said it would closer to $1,000 if it also involved the 3rd issue which was the compressor. They got the first 2 parts two days later and came out and fixed it.

We are very pleased with the service we received from Lee's Appliance. Gail in the office/on the phones if very responsive and helpful, offering tips for appliance care as well as for making the right type of appointment (she asked detailed questions about the problems we were having, requested model numbers, etc. and was always very well informed and informative!) The team came out a total of three times, once to diagnose, once to install the first stove part that came in AND to fix the newly leaking fridge (this was an add-on request from us, which Lee's promptly scheduled in) and once to install the final part on the stove. It did take a couple of weeks to wrap the whole thing up, but that was because of time waiting on the second part. And, as we had been trying to get another company to complete the repairs for many months, this was a breeze! The only teeny, tiny suggestion I have is for their crew to make certain the customer is up-to-speed on the costs. Because of the multiple visits and multiple parts (and our fridge starting to leak in the middle of it all!), we got a tad confused. I think we just missed one of the costs as the needs of the stove repair unfolded; overall, the team was very communicative, but any further help they can provide in making sure it is all clear as work proceeds would be great. Finally, Lee's did not charge us until all of the work -- except for installation of the delayed part -- was complete and we could see everything was working. They did not charge us any labor or trip fees to come out the last time with that final part, and they didn't even charge us for that part until it was installed and working. Very good experience... When I called, I spoke to Gail to make appointments. I have two properties, my primary residence in Roxborough and my rental property in Parker. At my primary residence, my issues were, the dishwasher occasionally not getting the dishes clean, my dryer taking an hour to dry clothes, and my refrigerator water out of the door dispenser tasting like the charcoal from the filter. At the rental, my tenants complained that the dishes on the top rack were not getting cleaned. I paid a $70 trip charge ($20 higher due to the distance), for them to go out to each property. At my house, they told me to use finish and use less soap in the dishwasher. I was already using finish and in addition, another rinse aid called lemi shine and only filling the pre-wash dispenser with soap. So nothing new and no change in the performance of the dishwasher there. For the refrigerator I got "I don't know what to tell you.". Luckily, another company did and fixed it. For the dryer, he told me to have the dryer vent cleaned by "The dryer vent wizard". I had it cleaned 3 years ago, and subsequently per their suggestion, again by the dryer vent wizard to the tune of $150.00 and it still takes an hour to dryI mentioned to Lee's appliance that the washer wasn't balanced and the hose comes out of the drain sometimes. He did nothing about it. When I mentioned it to dryer vent wizard, he balanced the washer, and secured the hose to the drain. He also informed me that many of the front loading washers and dryers have longer cycles than top loaders. Nothing is wrong with the dryer and the dryer duct wasn't bad. He said that was why many of the new front loaders have a short cycle option. Shouldn't lee's appliance have known this? So their bill was $160 for my primary residence, $150 to dryer vent wizard, and a phone consultation with another appliance repair company for the refrigerator and dishwasher. They also went out to my rental property and told my tenant the same thing, to use less soap and finish (rinse aid). They did pull a straw out of a sprayer which had caused it to jam. Subsequently, the sprayer has fallen off and the dishwasher is still not cleaning the dishes on the top rack. I went and verified it myself./ The trip charge was $70 and $20 to get the straw out. Having used them twice, I would say, skip it. They are collecting fees for doing basically nothing and telling you to use less soap and rinse aid in your dishwasher.

Eddie came out on two occasions. The first time, he diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes. There was a valve that had become clogged. He ordered the part and came back a week later for the repair. He was very professional and explained the process and even gave me a suggestion on how to avoid this in the future. He didn't mind me asking him questions.

Simply wonderful. I scheduled the appointment a few days in advance, Gail who answers phones was extremely helpful in trying to get in on a tight schedule and took advantage of up to the moment changes to get them in as quickly as possible. The techs clearly knew just exactly what they were doing and had it all set up in about ten minutes. I highly recommend this company!!! I had previously tried to use Sears Home Services but after 3 weeks and several calls to the national line they were unable to even successfully place the order (sears immediate biling worked just fine,however!). Go with these guys instead every time.

They arrived and looked at microwave and refer. Took model numbers. They called us back to tell us that they had to order the hinge for the refer, and would let us know when it arrives. After a week. we received a call and set up an appt. to have parts installed. They arrived on time, disassembled the microwave and replaced the broken spring. They removed the face plate from the refer and checked and tighted the screws on the hinge. This fixed the problem, so we didn't need a new hinge or a second spring for the microwave.

I found out my refrigerator died over the weekend, so I called this company Monday morning. At first they said they were booked for a few days, but when I explained the situation they were able to squeeze in an evaluation visit Monday afternoon. The technician determined the compressor needed replacing, and quoted me a price (which was nearly exactly what the final cost was, by the way). I discussed the repair/replace option with my wife, called them Tuesday morning and stated that I'd like to have the repair done. The technician came Tuesday afternoon and completed the work in two hours. Both the scheduler with whom I spoke to arrange the repairs, and the technician himself, were very friendly and courteous. A wonderful experience overall.

The repairman arrived exactly on time and went right to work. He brought the correct repair kit with him even though it turned out he could use parts I had,. Saving me appx $35. Excellent, timely job.

I am a believer of Angie's list. This was my first experience with this website and I am so pleased. My fridge had been making grinding noises on and off for a few weeks. I was lucky that it was making that noise while I was on the phone with Gail. She thought it sounded like the compressor fan, and she ordered the part . When Ed came he had the part and so I didn't have to wait, and my fridge was fixed. Ed was great. He was so nice and considerate. He called ahead to let me know he was on his way and was right on time. If I need any repair for appliances I will call Lee's again. They made this so much easier and the price was very reasonable. It is such a relief when you find a company that provides quality service and doesn't overcharge. Thank you Lee's.

Old fashioned customer service. Gave an est. on the phone, was fair and reasonable. Showed up on time. Would use the again, definitely. Also, helped us with contacting appliance manufacturer to get a replacement part at no cost.

Initial call was very helpful-she said that it sounded like a simple belt, and likley easy to repair. The service people were a little late, but did call to let me know that, and not that late. They came and quickly identified it was a fried belt. They had the part, and quickly replaced and had me back in business in less than 30 min.

Each time we have called Lee's appliance we have had excellent, prompt service. The person answering and scheduling the calls has been great, the technicians let us know what the issue was and what needed to be done. Parts were ordered and promptly installed. We are very happy with the service they have provided, and the prices are reasonable.
