They came within the time frame I was promised. Diagnosed and fixed the problem in about 20 minutes. They were very quick and professional, showed me the broken part and answered questions with ease.

My refrigerator stopped working and from the sound it was making I made an amateur diagnosis of a bad compressor. I called Lee's Appliance to have them come out and confirm my suspicions as well as to give me an estimate on how much it would cost to repair. They were very accommodating when it came to scheduling the service call and were able to stop by as soon as I was available to be there. They arrived right on time and diagnosed the problem in minutes. They had part prices and gave me an estimate on the spot. I told them I would like them to do the work. They said they could schedule me in for a few days later which I thought was very reasonable. As it turns out, they had a cancellation and were able to get the necessary parts and return that same day to fix the refrigerator. The repair was completed successfully, their estimate was very accurate, and I was very pleased with their work.

Receptionist answering the company phone was very polite and responsive to our needs. Appointment was scheduled for the following morning with special attention given to my need for the repairman to arrive as early as possible due to a later appointment I had. Repairman was here right on schedule, diagnosed our problem, repaired the problem and was on his way in record time.

The repairman, Eddie, arrived at 1:10 for a scheduled time of 1:00-3:00. He was immediately likable, and he got right to work. After I described the location of the leak, he knew what to do. As he worked, we chatted. I'm sure the company sends Eddie out for new customers because he is charming, as well as competent. Within about half an hour, the repairs were completed, the machine was put back together and pushed back into place, and our business was concluded.

I found Lee's on Angie's List and called for an appointment - the gal who answered the phone (sorry I can't remember her name) was so pleasant and helpful - she made an appt. for me the very next morning. Eddie the technician showed up about 5 minutes before the appointment - with a huge smile on his face (despite driving in the snow and cold!). Immediately, he knew the problem and was able to fix it in about 2 minutes. He was so courteous, friendly and overall a pleasure to have in my home! I would use Lee's again in a heartbeat!!!

We are getting our home ready to sell, so had a pre-sale home inspection done on 01/26/09. We learned our stove (6 1/2 years old) had not been adjusted for high altitude in Denver when it was installed new in 2002, thus it was giving off very high carbon monoxide readings when the oven was on. That day I found Lee's Appliance on Angie's List and called late that afternoon. I had to leave a message, but I received a return call within about 30 minutes. An appointment was made for 2 days later, Jan. 28th. They gave me the time frame of 10 a.m. to noon. The morning of the appointment, they called to confirm the service call and said they were running early & would sometime between 8:45 & 9:30 a.m. be OK. I said yes, and they arrived at about 9:05 a.m. I explained the problem, they took readings of the carbon monoxide levels with the oven on and did receive the same high readings. They fixed the problem by adjusting the stove to Denver's high altitude, something that SHOULD have been done when it was installed in June of 2002 (by Sears). After repair, they showed me the readings, which are now definitely in the "safe" and "normal" range. They were very courteous and professional. The cost was very reasonable. I was quite pleased with the service.

They arrived about ten minutes late, no big deal, spent about ten minutes cleaning the garbage disposal drain for the washer and left.

My Whirlpool dishwasher, which I think was installed when house was built, about twelve years ago, abruptly stopped working. I called Lee's and they promptly sent Eddie, one of their technicians. He quickly located the problem, the main circuit board was burnt out. He explained that this was the most expensive part that could go bad. To replace it would cost about $285, which seemed to be clearly more than one should pay to keep an old dishwasher running. He advised me that his firm sells refurbished units for $200, installed, with a 90-day warranty and that if I purchased one, the service call fee for his visit would be waived. He did not pressure me, in the least to go for that option and discussed with me various brand of new machines that I might purchase elsewhere. After doing a bit of research into new machines and giving consideration to the glowing recommendations that I'd read here on Angie's List, I decided that their offer of a refurbished machine appeared to be my best option. When I called to ask for them to replace the dishwasher with a refurbished one, at first they said that they would charge me sales tax at the rate for Denver (where they are located). I explained that as I live in unincorporated Arapahoe County, the tax rate for a machine delivered here should be lower. While at first there was some slight confusion, as apparently no one had previously brought this up, they said that they would check with the taxing authorities to see how this should be handled. Afterwards, I called back and left voicemail to say that given what a good deal I felt that I was getting, I didn't want to quibble over the tax. If it would be a hassle for them to adjust the tax rate, I wouldn't mind paying the higher rate. On our next conversation, to schedule the installation, they said that my offer to pay the higher tax was not necessary. They would charge me the Arapahoe County rate. The installation went flawlessly, there was no damage or mess left behind. I like the new (refurbished) unit better than the one that it replaced. I was very impressed by the friendliness, competence, knowledge, honesty and punctuality that I encountered in dealing with Lee's Appliance Repair and would not hesitate to call them again should another major appliance need servicing. I wish that they distributed refrigerator magnets, rather than just business cards. I would happily put one on my fridge, as I am afraid that I might misplace their card before my next need for them.

We tried all the troubleshooting tips in the manual. We thought it might be the pump; however, the technician showed us where the "secret" drain is and unclogged the line. We can now check that drain, too, if we have future trouble.

I called Lee's Appliance when I realized the switch on my stove had been broken in a bizarre accident (kitchen cabinet fell off of the wall and landed partially on the stove on the way down!). Gail took my information, asked for a description of the problem, got the model # for my stove and said she would call me back after she had researched the part and availability of the part. Within 30 minutes, she was back on the phone scheduling my appointment. A very pleasant and competent person. If I had been available, they could have installed it the next day. My appointment was for this morning, 9AM-12PM. Eddie arrived at 10AM, cheerful, friendly, competent. Installed the part in about 5 minutes, wrote up the invoice, took my check, and wished me a Merry Christmas. What a GREAT experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not had service like this in recent memory.

I called on the day before Thanksgiving thinking that I would have to wait until the following Monday to get a service call. I told the lady who answered the call how hard it was for me to take a day off, and she told me she would see what she could do. I ended up getting a service call within a couple of hours, and the repair job was completed in a less than half an hour. Great service and nice people! It is always reassuring to get a service person who knows what he is doing.

Showed up on time, did the job and returned with the replacement exactly as promised. Will definitely use again for large appliance repair etc.

They were great and they were very responsive. It was 50 dollars for one visit and one appliance and then 20 dollars for each additional appliance. Everything is working well. Everything was good and I would recommend them.

I was so impressed with Lee's appliance from start to finish. I had been battling Sears for over two weeks just to get the part to repair the washer. Then Sears was going to charge me $158 to replace the part. It took Lee's Appliance 10 minutes to fix it. The person I spoke to on the phone at Lee's was so helpful. She reworked the schedule so that the repair people could come on my work break the next day! She also explained that they would have to charge me a little more to come and look at the appliance because I was out of the area and were very up front about their pricing. The repair people were early, but waited for me because they knew I was coming home from work. They were courteous, professional and wonderful to work with. They promptly fixed the washer and then just charged me the fee to come look at the appliance.

They were punctual came out and determined the problem right away. They came out on Wednesday and ordered a part and came back out on Friday when the part came in to finish the repair.

We had the technician determine the problem with the dishwasher and then give us some recommendations and costs for what we could do. This was the impressive part of the service that we received from Lee's Appliance. They told us it might not make sense to replace the part since we could get a new dishwasher from them for a comparable cost that would be under warranty. They even offered to install a refurbished machine that they could put in for almost the same cost as replacing the part with a short warranty. By working with us to educate us about the choices they really made us feel that they cared more about us doing the right thing for our rental unit than just getting our business. It's rare to receive that kind of honesty and we appreciated it greatly since we live far from Denver now. None of the discounted dishwasher's that Lee's had matched our kitchen so we needed to opt to buy from another dealer.

The experience was great! They were very reasonable. The work they did was really good. I called them, they came out the next day, they got the work done quickly and charged exactly what they told me it would. It was great!

I was extremely satisfied with the service I received from Lee's. I received the call from my rental tenant that the fridge was broken while I was on the east coast. I used Angie's List to locate Lee's (I noticed their scores and location information relative to me). Lee's was punctual, professional, and patient. In the hurried state I was in (being out of town), I think I forgot to let Lee's know my unit number. They hung around for a bit until the unit number was located. I was very impressed (and thankful) that they just didn't leave. I think that was very professional of them. Great job to Lee's... and I'll be using them in the future!!!

Requested exam & estimate to fix broiler unit in wall oven. Technician called to say he would be slightly late for appointment window. Actually only 10 minutes past original time window. He examined and tested unit and suggested that he call the manufacturer and get further info before just replacing parts until it worked. He agreed to call me next day. I received call on the following day and he reported that the manufacturer would not give him the info needed and to call them to get an actual manufacturer repair facility. He charged nothing including service call.

LEE'S HAS BEEN DOING APPLIANCE REPAIRS LONGER THEN I HAVE BEEN HERE. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL & PUNCTUAL. THEIR PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE & I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.
