Lee's Appliance & Refrigeration Service

I called Lee's Appliance and talked with a very nice lady on the phone. I told her what the problem was and gave her the model number. She asked a few questions and I told her that the unit may have to be pulled out. She said she should would talk with the people there (husband) and get back to me. She called back a little while later and said that to be on the safe side, they would have two service repair men come out just in case they needed to pull it out. Well, they had to pull it out, and found what was wrong with it. They came back the next morning, fixed it, did a couple other little fixes and put the oven unit back in the wall. We now have a "fully" functioning oven! The guys were very professional and did a good job. Lee's has been marked as my place to call for appliance repair.

Our dryer at our rental house stopped working (if I remember correctly it wouldn't turn). We dropped it off to Lee's (it was late Friday), although they certainly would have come to the house to fix it. They had it fixed by Monday morning.

I watched part of the repair and while I'm handy for many basic repairs, I would not want to have tried to figure this out myself. We'll be using them again for any around the house appliance repair. This was the third visit from Lee's, same repairman each time. Each time he's been just as I'd want in terms of demeanor, attire, etc.

Called and scheduled repair. Showed up when he should have, repaired door and has worked fine since repair.

They came on 11/12 and said it was fixed, however there were not any dishes on the top rack so it was not tested. The next day I had dishes in the top rack and it pushed out again. I called them that morning and they came out and fixed it. It has been fine ever since.

Seviceman (I don't have his name with me right now) was professional and knowledgeable. He showed me the problem in both cases, gave me an estimate of cost to fix each one. He had the parts on the truck for both applicances. He needed to pull my stove out from the wall to fix the burner switch (which only took him a few minutes) but he was very patient and waited for me to finish vacuming and cleaning behind the stove (I took this opportunity while I had it) He left his card with me in case I had questions or comments for the company. They charged a "diagnostic" charge for each appliance (the second charge was less). The prices to service and the parts I thought were reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

Eddy was punctual, performed all of his checks and service with complete professionalism. Couldn't ask for better than what has been consistently delivered by this company. This is not the first time we have used Lee's and certainly won't be the last.

The receptionist in the office could not have been more helpful and nicer. The repair people who came out did a good job but were not all that friendly

I have no venting to the outside. The tech was punctual. He took the back of the dryer off to clean the vent because the fluff gets compacted back there. It took less than a half hour. He told me not to put bathtub rugs in there because the rubber backing and the fibers get stuck in the vent. Tech was professional.

They were prompt and professional. They provided great customer service. They were prompt and had the part on the truck. We would use them again. The price was fair.

Each time I call and make an appointment, they show up right on time. If they have needed to order a part, they don't even charge me when they "diagnose" it; I just pay when the repair is complete. They are so professional!

This is our second time using Lee's Appliance - they are PHENOMENAL! We scheduled our first appointment for March 3rd to have them look at our washer and dryer. Our washer had been "walking" across the room when in the spin cycle and our dryer was taking too long to dry clothes. Eddie, the technician, showed up precisely at 8:30 with a pleasant smile and demeanor. He promptly went to work assessing our problems. He determined that the dryer vent just needed to be cleaned out (which he did for us), but the washer would need a replacement balance ring. He gave me a rough estimate, said he'd have to order the part and would make an appointment to return to fix the washer. By the end of that day, Gail had called to already schedule a follow-up appointment. Eddie returned on March 5th (on time and with a smile, again!), balance ring in hand, and set to work repairing our washer. Once he took apart the washer, he realized that the pads underneath the tub had worn down and they would need replacing. He replaced the balance ring, but told us he'd get the pads and return to completely fix our washer. Eddie returned on March 12th (on time and smiling, again!) and replaced the worn out pads. My husband was so impressed by Eddie's attention to detail and commitment to completing the job correctly. Even though the process took some time, we appreciated Eddie's willingness to return and diligence in order to save us from spending hundreds of dollars on a new washer (which my husband was convinced we had to do). Our overall cost of $170 was far below what I would have expected for all of the time and effort taken to repair our washer! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lee's Appliance and WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE for appliance repairs!

Called on a Tuesday and was told they would call midday on Wednesday and give me 30 minutes' notice that someone was on the way. I received a call midday on the Wednesday, giving me 30 minutes' notice as promised. Repair technician arrive almost exactly 30 minutes after the phone call, was friendly, professional and finished the job quickly.

Call Lee's on Thursday. Jerry came out Friday 9 AM and analyzed the problem. He thought it was probably the "motherboard." He took the model and serial number. Gail at Lee's called Monday AM and quoted the cost of replacing the motherboard. Jerry came out Tuesday AM and replaced the motherboard. Problem solved.

On a very cold day my son's furnace was not blowing heat but cold air - temp in house was 45 degrees. I called Lee's because I had a positive experience with them regarding my fridge and they told me at that time they also did HVAC. I called explained my plight and they tried to get a tech to the house as soon as possible. Within 2 hours Jerry arrived and got the furnace started and showed how to restart if it failed again before he could get and install the part. Jerry came back the next day installed the part all for a very reasonable price. They have come through for me twice in a short period of time and I would not hesitate using them for all my mechanical repair needs.

I had been trying to figure out what was causing water drips that froze on the top shelf and under my veg and fruit crispers. After living with this condition for a couple of months the problem was getting worse and I needed to do something. I went to Angies list and chose Lee's Appliance repair after seeing the many positive, satisfied customer ratings. I called Lee's 12/30/09 and they scheduled to come out the next day (12/31). The appointment was to be between 1100 to 1200 but I was pleasantly surprised when Jerry called and said he could come earlier if it was convenient - which it was. Jerry with another tech arrived around 1000 and quickly went to work. Within the half hour they had identified the problem and fixed it with assurances that this would not occur again based on them installing an auxillary heater. I was very pleased with their work ethic and what I feel is genuine honesty and customer service. I had gone online to Sears service department (since fridge is a Kenmore) and the quoted price was 149.00 plus any parts for fixing the problem that I had suspected to be the auto defroster. Lee's gave me a ballpark quote for the same problem description when I called of 85.00 and that is what they charged. Their prices are reasonable and their service was great. They will definitely be my choice for servicing all my large appliances without a doubt. Thank you Lee's for being a family run business that cares about the customer.

It was a good experience. They were very pleasant and they came on time. They did a good job. The price was reasonable.

It went very well. They were very prompt, pleasant and efficient. Initially, they had said that they might not be able to find a replacement clock because the oven is about 25 years old. They did find one, called me the next morning and scheduled the return of the repairmen. They replaced the clock quickly and the charge was quite reasonable.

There were two service men. Both were smart, professional and told me that it was the compressor that was not working properly. They said they would not touch it because it was still under warranty from GE.

They're a good resource for parts you can't find elsewhere. They're up front and honest people. They have good prices and also sell second hand appliances. I would recommend them and will continue to use them when needed.
