Description of Work: Nice, helpful lady answered the phone, two guys showed up early and had all the parts for a work plus other stuff that could've been the issue but wasn't and they only did the repairs I actually needed and saved me money with their honesty. I'm calling them back for other work!

Description of Work: our Sharp combination microwave / convection oven suddenly stopped working. we have used Lee's in past at our apartment properties and did not hesitate to call them for this home repair. easy to schedule, arrived at appointed time, indicated "they don;t make them like this anymore so worth repairing rather than replacing". changed out fuse and has worked great since. would recommend this company for sure.

Description of Work: My 8 year old refrigerator quit working. I called Lee's and Lee came at the time the company said he would. He checked out the fridge, saw that it needed a new relay due to an overload. He didn't have one with him, so he returned to the office to get one. He returned in record time, installed it and my fridge has been working fine since. This happened the day of the first presidential debate, I don't remember the exact date, but I was having a "watch" party and was so glad to have a functioning refrigerator!

Description of Work: I called to say my dishwasher was not cleaning properly. Gail went over a few steps to try over the phone with me, so I ended up spending no money. So helpful!! Would highly recommend!!

Description of Work: Really good experience from first phone call to conclusion. Fixed broken convection fan in oven, simple fix and he charged less than usual. Very professional, showed me everything he was doing.

Description of Work: Called about a newer dryer that was making horrible squealing noise. Lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice and professional and asked me if I could get the model information off the dryer which I did after a couple tries. She scheduled a tech out at a time that worked for us and I asked for a call before hand which was done. I ran late and I directed the tech to the dryer after getting him access and by the time I arrived the job was complete and the dryer was fixed and running perfectly. It was some sort of roller or item that had bearings that had worn out.

Description of Work: This was our first experience with Angie's List. And it turned out to be one of the best service experiences we've had. The tasks were not terribly difficult, but we are in our 70s and not always able to do some of the things we used to do. But the oven repair was a wiring issue, and the refrigerator repair was locating the blockage causing a water leak underneath the refrigerator. Serviceman was pleasant, timely, reasonable and willing to make a last minute schedule change to accommodate a medical situation that arose not long before the appointment. We'll definitely be back.

Description of Work: The technician came out from Lee's Appliance exactly as scheduled. Our Maytag front-loading washer was having serious problems in the spin cycle. Upon checking it out, the technician said the washer was actually in great shape and did not need any repairs. He did know of a Maytag recall on this brand of front loaders, so he called Maytag and found out that the company definitely had problems with the spin cycle on our particular brand, and our washer would require a new motion sensor board and motion sensor kit. Maytag is shipping us the parts free of any charges and a Maytag technician will install the parts for free. All in all, the Lee's Appliance technician did a great job trouble shooting the problem and even made all calls to Maytag for us and got our problem resolved in no time! For all the tech's time and effort, the only charge was for the service call (very reasonable, BTW). We will definitely be using Lee's Appliance repair from now on!

Description of Work: Our oven wouldn't work and the control panel needed to be replaced. The technician wasn't able to fix and called the company to double check to see if there was anything else that would work, which was a good idea. The only drawback was that if they did come back to fix it after the part came in, they would have added another trip charge in addition to the labor to replace the part. Another company we used didn't add in another trip charge to come back for the same problem (although had a slightly higher trip charge).

Description of Work: We were ready to buy a new washer but decided to have it looked at, and it seemed that all we needed to do was have the wigwag jiggled. (I'm serious!) Basically, he tested all the moving parts and determined what it was and fixed it.
