We were shocked to come home from work one day only to find that our water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. We called Lakeside Heating and spoke with Tony, who was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable speaking with him, and he was able to have two workers (who were also very courteous and knowledgeable!) come out that same day and install a new water heater. We found out that Lakeside is a family owned business, and boy does it show! They delivered the best customer service, and prompt, professional service that you only get from a small business. We will definitely never go anywhere else! Thanks Lakeside!

I had Lakeside come out to give me a second opinion on my furnace. I was told that it needed to be replaced. Tony came out and found that there was only a minor issue with the furnace and it was relatively easy to fix. They performed the work and my furnace has been working flawlessly ever since. They saved me from needlessly replacing the whole unit. Thank you guys- you are now my go-to company!

I had quotes for a new Carrier Infinity system that were thousands of dollars off from each other, Lakeside was not the highest or lowest, but speaking with Bill is why we decided to go with either a Lennox or Carrier system. He was very detailed on the pros and cons of each system we were considering. I am so happy my wife and I decided on a higher end efficiency system, we plan on living in our home for a very long time, why not pay extra now for a higher end system so we can save month to month on the heating and cooling of our home. An added bonus was the touch screen Carrier thermostat, I am techy anyways so being able to control the heating and cooling of our home even when on vacation was a pretty cool idea. We use it a lot more than anticipated. From the first phone call to the last day the guys installed our system we cant be more pleased. Communication and scheduling could not have been easier. Working with Bill and his son Tony made me proud to be working with a true family owned business and you sometimes do get what you pay for, their experience shines. We haven't had any issues with this system and our utility bills compared to our neighbors makes me wish we did this sooner. I will definitely recommend Lakeside Heating to others, I don't see us having to make any repairs or issues for years to come! In case others are curious, this was the Infinity 98 (model 59MN7) system with Greenspeed & 19 SEER AC unit.

Even though I had built a new custom million dollar house. The builder put in a cheap, inefficient, sub-standard air conditioner. I came to find out that the equipment was, ?new? but the date code was old, therefore no warranty. I called Lakeside to tell them my frustrations and they found me a quality unit and also found me some great rebates from Lennox and the utility company. It was better to just buy a new air conditioner then repair the POS the builder installed. Since then I have had absolutely no issues with that air conditioner they installed. I am really sick of getting ripped off and Lakeside was amazing so I thought I would share my experience. A++++

Joel came on the first visit. He diagnosed that I needed a new switch box that had to be ordered. He claimed that I would be charged an additional trip charge. I refused.I received a call from the office staff that to fix my problem it would cost $675 because I needed a new motor. I refused having a new motor installed for the following reason: I bougfht my swamp cooler and motor three years ago. My son and his friend offered to install it for me. Everything went fine except when they were finished, my son's friend could not figure out the wiring and it only worked on high cool, not the other three settings. I explained this to Lakeside's office staff and to Joel. I received a call from the office staff following Joel's first visit that to fix my problem it would cost $675 because I needed a new motor. I refused having a new motor installed because I still believed it was a wiring problem.Joel came for the second visit and installed the new switch. Again, he mentioned installing a new motor and informed me that he had the motor in his truck. I refused. Once Joel was finished, I asked him if the swamp cooler was working on all the settings and he told me it was. When I was retiring for the evening, I decided to change the swamp cooler setting from high cool to low cool. The only settings that worked were high cool and high vent. I was furioius and left voice messages with Lakeside that evening.The following morning Bill of Lakeside left me two messages and I called him back after work meetings. We argued during this discussion. I was treated rudely with a tremendous amount of disrespect. Admittedly, I was not friendly either. I again told Bill that I did not need a new motor. It was only three years old. He yelled that he didn't care that it was only three years old. I needed a new motor. I questioned Bill about the cost, since I looked on line and found that new motors at Home Depot were $125. My son has replaced motors on my swamp cooler and switching them out took my son 30 minutes.Today, Aden of Heating and Air Conditioning was at my house. He diagnosed the problem being the wiring within 15 minutes. All settings now work and even though Aden was here with a helper for nearly two hours, he charged me $125. He was pleasant, kind and honest. He told me that my motor was in excellent condition.

One of the owner, Bill Carey came out, looked at our house, old cooler, water, and electric set up and gave me a written quote to replace the old cooler with a high efficiency cooler. Seemed like a nice knowledgeable guy and the estimate was in line with the other I had gotten so went ahead with the contract. There was the first sign of a problem on install day, the hole from the old cooler is larger then they ?expected? and I will have to get a roofer out to repair the roof before they can proceed. Icall Lakeside- speak with the other owner, Bill Buras, who says in his whole career he hasnever run into this problem- SERIOUSLY 41 years in the HVAC business and never found a replacement cooler that didn?t fit an existing hole? They don't know any roofer? I have to find one and get it taken care if and then they will come back. Every other estimate I got for this job ? 4 total- all in writing were all inclusive, remove and replace, all within the same range- you get an estimate to know what a job will cost- not to get hit with additional charges, delays and excuses. Anyway, found a great roofer on Angles list, got the work done, paid the extra $500, and 9 days later Lakeside is back to put my new cooler on. Problem #2- Notice that the cooler is only operating on high and not moving a lot of air at that. Call Lakeside, to their credit they did sent a repairman out same day (7days since install) but, unfortunately he is not able to make this any better. 'They will get back with me next week with what the manufacturer says'?So they call the next day and come out again, Problem #3 replace the fan belt and leave saying it?s adjusted ?all the way out, no more to do?. It does blow more air, but Problem #4-sounds like a bulldozer on my roof. Never really any better, end of cooling season so I wait until spring and call again, a different repair guy come out this time and agrees it rumbles pretty loud, Problem#5- reruns the ducts work in attic- no change, Lakeside said they called the manufacturer about the noise issue - comes out and Problem #6- installs a new blower motor (not sure never gave me any paper work on this one) maybe a little less noise from the roof, no improvement in air flow and now it?s out of warranty. So under warranty they were out to try to get the cooler running correctly about 6 times, and it has never run as well as the old one did. Very frustrating experience, would not recommend this company. I have to say they tried to fix the problem, but for $3500, their repair service is barely competent and I have ended up having to use the AC instead of the swamp cooler that I bought, paid for and would prefer if only it worked...

They did a good job. The man is a very nice person.

My overall experience with VRCC and all the VRCC staff was always pleasant, professional, prompt, and courteous! Dr. Chad Devitt was wonderful! He was very patient with me as I had a lot of questions and concerns throughout the process. He was always professional and personable and was very caring toward my dog. He is very competent and came highly recommended to me by 3 other vets. And, most importantly, my dog is now doing great! Although the surgery was expensive, it was no more expensive than it would have been elsewhere and, on a few occasions, he charged me less than he could have for visits.

Lakeside removed my old furnace and A/C unit and replaced with the a new Lennox furnace model EL296UH090XV48C and A/C model XC14-036 along with iComfort Wi-Fi Thermostat. Install went well and we were up and running in less than two days. Cost was $8,680 less the three rebates we got back of $1,420 for a total install cost of $7,260. Took about 6 weeks for the rebates from Xcel and Lennox to come in but they did! Lakeside fills out all the rebate forms and sends them in for you. Had three other companies quote new furnace and A/C units and very happy we went with Lakeside. The install guys put down protective covering on our floors so they didn't get the carpet or hardwoods floor dirty or scuffed. Since it was a two day install, when they left after the first day they cleaned everything up nicely so you didn't even know they were there that day. After the install was done they went through the operation of the furnace and a/c unit since they were drastically different from our old units. They also went through the operation of the Wi-Fi iComfort thermostat, get this when you install new units as it is really nice feature to have that you can control via your smart phone.

My experience with them was awesome. The guy that came out installed the first air conditioner in the state of Kansas. He is older and he is still taking house calls and he still knows what he is doing. He does not over-sell you at all. I had four quotes on that. His price was better. He was respectful of my time. He was professional and on time. The installation was great.

After a short delay due to a measurement error, everything else went very smooth. A custom stand needed to be built for the AC unit to be mounted to the roof. The error was noticed quickly by the installers. My install was performed a week later.

They are always punctual; sometimes they come a little early. They even call to tell us they are on the way. I like that they always carry ID, so you call the office and verify them as a member of the staff. You get more than your money is with them. I have never had a unit break down. They also have a membership so you will be first priory when the heat goes out due the snow.

They were fantastic. They showed up on time and did good work. Their price is reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone.

The service tech [Tony, I think] was very knowledgeable and helpful. As a new homeowner and never having lived in a home with a boiler, he was extremely helpful in explaining how it all worked. His inspection was thorough and efficient and he explained what parts of the system may need maintenance in the near future. It was a very positive experience and I will be calling them again.

We woke up to our furnace not working, called Lakeside and they had someone out within a few hours to do the repairs.

I want to review Lakeside Heating and Air Conditioning because of their professional demeanor in handling my request for work. I called wanting an estimate on upgrading our boiler and water heater to take advantage of end of year rebates. My call was returned promptly even though the news I was offered was that they were scheduled out through the end of December. I really appreciate the time that was taken to call me and the integrity of letting me know their schedule given my desire for service within the month. I will call them again should I have a need specifically because of how they handled this call. I have gotten no call-backs or no-shows from other contractors. It's the little things that make the difference and I appreciate Lakeside for that 2 minute call. Great customer service!

They are good people. It's a family owned business and they have done installations for us in the past, too. Their integrity has brought me back as a repeat customer. They are local, have been around for a while and they are honest and upfront with you. I highly recommend them. Their prices are competitive.

Lakeside Heating is a family owned and run business was very professional from the estimate through the install. They were ready to install 6 days after writing us the estimate. They kept in contact with us by phone and called to ask if it was okay to come early. The install took two days as promised and they worked a couple extra hours on the final day to be sure that all was working fine. There was no extra charge for working around a couple of problems which required a couple extra parts and about two extra hours of labor.

We have had some bad experiences in the past but Lakeside was excellent. They gave us all the information beforehand and they did everything right. We're extremely pleased with them and I would highly recommend them.

What a wonderful experience. Everyone from the initial phone call to the sales person to the installers were polite and professional. They answered all my questions, and went through the operation and the maintenance of my new furnace. They cleaned up after themselves. I shopped around and got the best price and a great warranty. I can see why this company has been around for as long as they have. My daughter needed a repair and I referred her to Lakeside, the company that had initially came to her house quoted her an outrageous price for a new motor. I will keep referring this company to family and friends. Thanks to everyone there, keep up the good work!

They were awesome. Bill, the owner, spent a good deal of time with me on the phone, answering all of my questions. They offer numerous lines of manufacturers and he pointed out the positives and negatives on each. He did not apply any pressure to me. We agreed over the phone on a price (since I already knew exactly what was needed - they did offer to come out for an on-site bid but I turned them down to save time) and set a time for the company to come out for the install. They arrived on time. It was Bill's son Tony and a co-worker. They were excellent. They did the little things that mattered. They put cloths down to protect the floors and carpeting. They answered each and every question and showed me what they did. They told me when they had to run out to get some pvc drain pipe from the home improvement center and came promptly back. I don't think they even stopped for a break. They worked diligently and I didn't see them or hear them, which is hard to do when you are installing an entire new central AC. Trust me on this - I checked 6 different companies, 4 from Angie's List. Bill and his crew were almost the least expensive and were certainly the most professional. I got bids from $3100 to $4700. I also got some pressure from some of the others and some disinformation. On a central AC, the bottom line is that the most important thing is THE INSTALLER. Make sure that the installers are certified, background checked and take your time choosing the company. Ask the company what their cost is on the hardware and if they won't tell you, run away. OR better yet, get the model number (Bill actually offered it to me without me asking) and google it to get the wholesale cost. I wouldn't think of using anyone else again, for maintenance or repairs.

There were two installers and one ended up putting his foot through my attic ceiling, the other was rather arrogant. They did not properly explain how to use the new thermostat and when I called the company, they weren't able to explain right either.
