He could have said my air conditioner required replacement and I wouldn't have known better. Instead he arrived quickly, fixed the problem amazingly fast and made changes to prevent reoccurence. I highly recommend him and would call again!

My refrigerator stopped blowing cold air, I left a message on Friday evening, asking him to come ASAP. Saturday morning he called and came over. Diagnosed and fixed my problem right away and even went above and beyond by cleaning the bottom of the fridge and he fixed the door that was a bit tweeked.

Kevin asked me appropriate questions on the phone to pre-diagnose so he was prepared with any parts he would need. He showed up on time and was super friendly! He diagnosed the problem, repaired it and explained why it went bad and showed me the bad part that needed replacement. I was very happy with the service and his prices are very reasonable!

We have had no more problems. Kevin was very knowledgeable and went right to the problem.

Kevin was hired to assess my airconditioner unit and repair a refrigerators. Upon his arrival to my home he first examined our air conditioner, to assess whether it is worth fixing or replacing (it is a 20 year old unit and has issues). The unit has been running very hard (noisy/shaking/Etc.). After looking at the airconditioner, I had him look at our refrigerator. The refrigerator was not cooling properly, and he diagnosed that the wrong door switch for the internal fan was installed (i.e., a light switch was installed where a fan switch should have been. This prevented the fan from turning on when the door was closed. He did not fix the switch, but disconnected it so the fan would stay on when door was both opened and closed. I ordered a switch online and replaced it my self (not a difficult replacement). It cost me less than 6 dollars for the replacement switch. He advised that I should replace a couple of other parts on the refrigerator as well. After disconnecting the fan switch, he prepared his invoice, which was for $194. I was surprised as I felt it was quite high for the time and work performed, but I was pleased that he diagnosed the refrigerator accurately (even though he did not actually fix anything other than disconnecting the fan switch). As mentioned in other reviews, he talked a lot, he spoke about energy conservation, hydrogen energy, politics and a lot of other issues that were not relevant to the job. He is a nice guy and passionate in his beliefs, which I respect; but, I did not think he would be charging me for his musings about irrelevant subjects. Nevertheless, I paid the $194 without complaint. He told me he would send me an estimate to repair my A/C unit. After not hearing from him for a number of days I emailed him requesting the estimate (which is part of what I paid him to come out for in the $194 that he charged me). Ten days after he left (and had already been paid) he finally sent me an email. The email read exactly as the following: "motor was about $400 fan blade around 150 and time about $90". And it was sent from his android phone. Nothing more was included. Complete lack of follow up, complete lack of professionalism, complete waste of time (at least as far as the air conditioner unit goes) and a complete waste of money (as paid for the air conditioner). My feeling is that it is a job that he doesn't really want and should not have charged me for assessing.

I called Kevin and left a message, he called me back just a few minutes later. Told him I had a dryer that wasn't heating and the dial wasn't working (all it did was blow cold air). He asked me to check the breaker box. I told him that everything looked ok in there but I flipped the dryer breaker off and back on. Then we discussed a quote on the dial and he asked me to text him the model number. But when we got off the phone, I realized my dryer was heating and later confirmed that the dial was working also. It was great that Kevin prompted me to check the obvious thing first. I don't know if flipping a breaker is the appliance equivalent of "try rebooting the computer" but I would not have thought to do that. So, no service call, but still great service. I'll certainly bookmark KKA for any future repair needs!

Kevin was easy to reach, and I really appreciated that he was willing to discuss the problem in detail with me and make suggestions on the phone. After I removed the oven from the wall and checked some things out myself, I ended up having another highly rated company do the repair because they are located much closer to me and were able to do the diagnosis and and repair without any trip charges with me bringing the oven to them.

He was punctual and curtious. He seemed like he knew what he was doing. My home was not in his service area but he still came out.

Called Kevin, he came that same day. He was professional, and put us at ease. 4-5 hours later we had a working swamp cooler. He charged a very fair price to get it all cleaned up and ready to go!

Kevin promptly arrived at the appointment time. He knowledgeably diagnosed the problem and returned at a later date (we had to wait for parts) to complete the agreed upon repair. He was informed, competent, and easy to deal with.

I called on a Tuesday with a non-functioning clothes dryer and working around his already booked appointments and my work schedule, he was able to come early evening on Thursday because I was leaving town early Saturday morning. He was courteous and polite and very helpful. He petted my dogs and didn't mind that they wanted to "watch" his work. I stayed right with him and he explained everything he was doing and why very informatively including things I could do to avoid needing other work in the future.

I've used Kevin for numerous jobs at my rental properties and he is always prompt, professional and extremely trustworthy. I just called him about my dishwasher that would not close and instead of coming out and charging me for the visit, he spent a considerable amount of time troubleshooting it with me on the phone and in the end I was able to fix it myself. Based on this and my other experiences with Kevin when he did actually come out and work on appliances, I give him my highest recommendation.

Kevin was prompt and professional, and his price was more than fair. He really knows his appliances.

I called Kevin to come out and repair our washer due to the spin cycle not working and he said it would probably cost around $140. He gave me a window of "Wednesday morning". Wednesday afternoon he called and apologized and asked when he could reschedule. I said I could be around Thursday afternoon or anytime Friday. He said he would call before he came out. After realizing he just gave me a 30 hour window after standing me up once I texted him back to say that I needed him to come out sometime Thursday afternoon. He showed up and spent about 30 - 45 minutes to diagnose that it was actually the "tranny" that had gone out (very expensive and not very common) which would cost $400 or I could get a new washer. I had no problem with this but he wanted $98 for the diagnosis. I owned a company doing contract work for property management companies for many years and if I ever was unable to complete a job there was never a charge let alone $100. I am grading a D and not an F because I partially blame myself for not being a little more confrontational on this.

He recommended I buy a new one. I thought that was good, honest advice - He passed up several hundred dollars worth of repair work to give me good advice. I didn't buy the new unit from him - he didn't even offer to sell me one because that's not what he does. He recommended that I go to a hardware store. I did have him install the new dishwasher.

Kevin is the guy to hire for any appliance work----he's just great and very reasonable.

It was fine. Nothing went wrong. I would call him again if needed.

I called and left a message for Kevin on a Sunday when I noticed our fridge was getting warm. He called me back that afternoon and asked questions to narrow down the potential problem on the phone and even offered to help me find a way to Google the needed repair and do it myself. Wanting it fixed faster than I had time to do it, I scheduled a call to have him come out Monday morning. He called on his way over to confirm his arrival time and had the problem figured out within 30 minutes. He had to go get the part and had other appointments scheduled, so he said he'd be back around 5 PM and he arrived at 5:30. He had it repaired in short order. We'd use him again and would also recommend him to friends and neighbors in need.

Kevin's service was impeccable from beginning to end and the price very reasonable.

I called Kevin on Monday 3/4/2013 as my oven door handle had come off. He was extremely responsive and made time to come over and look at it. He got the model number and assessed the handle. We were thrilled to hear we wouldn't have to replace the door but just the handle. He called on Tuesday and let me know that he was getting the part and I scheduled with him to fix on Wednesday 3/6/2013. He was here on time and friendly and his price was great! Although he came twice, he only charged me one service charge. Great SERVICE. He was efficient and accurate and the door handle is GREAT!!! THanks Kevin. I was definitely call Keven again.

We determined that it would be more cost benificial to me to buy a new dryer.

He spoke to me extensively over the phone and suggested websites and options to fix the problem without having to have a repair person get involved. He saved me lots of money and solved the problem!

I called & spoke to Kevin. The water dispenser in my refrigerator door wouldn?t shut off and I asked for an estimate on repairing it i.e. replacing the shutoff valve. He gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable but was higher than I wanted to spend (I?m retired though I didn?t mention that to Kevin). I then asked if it was something reasonably easy for the average do-it-yourself person to accomplish and he said it was; he also pointed out that he couldn?t guarantee the valve was bad but chances were reasonable it was the culprit. He also took a few minutes to explain the approximate location of the valve and to recommend a dealer who likely had it in stock. I was very favorably impressed that he was so willing to share this info with me. Also I?m happy to say his info was helpful, my repair was successful and it only took me about half an hour.

I called and left a message regarding needing my large capacity dryer & my refrigerator repaired. This was about a week ago and I never heard back. Sorry Mr. Kevin, but I am moving onto someone else that wants the work! : (
