It went very well. Kevin analyzed our situation and came up with the correct fix. We are very pleased.

Kevin was extremely helpful. He came out as soon as he was able. He was thorough in the questions he asked so he could narrow down the possible issues. He was diligent about following through and not resting (or taking a break) until the issue was solved. When there was a concern that he might not have the parts to fix it, and he was en route to my place - 30 minutes away - he didn't push coming and said it was up to me and not to worry about his wasted time. I really appreciate how responsive and helpful he was. It was after the flood and I didn't have a dryer...I was not in a good mood. He handled the situation (and me) very well.

Kevin was top-notch and professional from beginning to end. I will certainly use him in the future! He answered my phone calls personally, got back to me if I left a voice message, and showed up exactly when he said he would. He is extremely knowledgable about all makes and models of washing machines, and I am certain he is as knowledgable about other appliances as well. He is experienced, dedicated, and hard working. He offered to complete my services for free because my machine would cost so much to repair that buying a new one makes sense, so I gave him a meager $20.00 and he is worth a heck of a lot more!

Kevin waa able to tell me how to fix my own washer over the phone.

Kevin is great. He diagnosed the problem quickly and came up with a quick and economical fix. Since we have no children, it isn't necessary for the washer to stop if the lid is open. It's a very elderly stacking unit, so this was preferable to installing a new switch. We'll have to replace the washer/dryer pretty soon anyway. It would have been gone long ago without Kevin's ministrations.

Our washer was acting up and Kevin came out to assess. After taking the washer apart and assessing the issue - Kevin provide an estimate to fix the issue as well as other options. Due to the cost of repairing the dated appliance, we took Kevin's advice to replace and ended up going to Kevin's suggested location for a replacement. Overall, great, honest advice and I will call Kevin again for any appliance issues we have in the future.

We thought we had fixed our problem with Kevin's advice over the phone but alas, that was not to be. But he was exceptionally helpful and prepared when he arrived to repair the fridge. He had asked me for the model number the evening before so he could look it up ahead of time and had everything needed when he arrived. My husband was here to meet him and said he was very pleasant, very professional and took time to pet the dog occasionally. :)

Our refrigerator was making a weird buzzing noise and the stuff in the freezer was defrosting. When I called Kevin to explain, he suggested unplugging it for an hour to let it cool off in case the dust and hair that I had vacuumed out had caused it to overheat. That did the trick. I didn't need a repair person after all. Not many people today will help you over the phone, especially if it means a loss of revenue to themselves.

Kevin replied right away and was able to get the job done the next day. Clearly explained my options and was incredibly professional.

Everything went as scheduled.

I was having issues with my evap cooler putting too much water into the air. I had contacted a couple of other people who wanted service call fees, and were suggesting I needed a new cooler or even worse, air conditioning. I called Kevin on a whim. He said the didn't do 2-story houses any more with whole house coolers, then asked me to describe the problem. I did, and he gave me a rundown on the problem it was having, told me I didn't need a new one, and offered advice to me and my son on how to fix it. My son got up on the roof the next day and did what he said to do. Problem greatly alleviated! Kevin's the kind of guy who is out to do good for you and your household issues, not make as much money off you as possible. Wonderful!

Kevin is a very good repair man but he's got this wacky political idea that he talked about continuously. So even though he was good at doing the repair, I don't think I would ever use him again just because I don't want to listen to him.

The refrigerator is fixed but I will probably not use this provider again. Kevin is a nice guy and he got the job done but unfortunately lacks some of the "intangibles" that I need to have in my service providers. I need to have my calls answered, I am not a fan of VM tag. I need to have a date certain and at least a time window, I don't do well with maybes or phone calls asking if I'll be around in the next 15-20 minutes (in non-emergency situations). I need to have service providers arrive prepared, I don't expect to be expected to have incidentals like rubbing alcohol handy. I need to watch professionals fix things to learn for myself how things work, I don't like being asked not to. I need to have my refrigerator fixed, I don't need an education on stem cell injections or planned obsolescence. Like I've said already, but need to repeat, Kevin did get the job done and for that I am grateful. I just think that my expectations and Kevin's approach to business are too far apart to be workable - for me.

Kevin was awesome. When I called him he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to fix the problem (I didn't describe it very well), but he didn't have a problem coming out to see if he could help. He was able to fix it and was very reasonable. I trusted him completely. He will be the only appliance repairman we recommend or use in the future.

He diagnosed the problem from my description, told me of similar experiences and approximately how much it might cost. Since it most likely is the control panel, I felt it would be too expensive to repair it and decided to purchase new. He advised me of the most reliable brands on the market. He was very helpful and I will certainly call him again.

The freezer in our rental had water puddling in the freezer. Upon reviewing Angie's List, I selected Kevin's Kwality Appliance because the cost per repair seemed more reasonable than many of the providers. On the initial phone call, Kevin quickly diagnosed the problem, provided an estimate of the time and price, and we scheduled a window of time for the repair. On the day of the repair, I called to confirm an exact time because I met Kevin at the rental. He showed up on time and quickly got to work. He worked efficiently and explained every step. He even showed me how to make the repair should this problem ever happen again. He also explained how the problem started and how to prevent it in the future. We appreciate his advice and will implement his suggestions. The total bill was exactly what he quoted over the phone. Because this is a rental, I am sensitive to using the tenant's stuff for repairs. It was fortunate the tenants were home, as we needed several large bath towels to sop up the frozen water as it melted and to keep the frozen food cool. Next time, I will ask what supplies I will need to bring to help with the repairs. Kevin is a one-man marching band. Feel free to call him back if he hasn't returned your call - he's worth it! We were very happy with the service and we will call Kevin's Kwality Appliance for our future repair needs.

I was pleased with his service

I called Kevin at 630pm on a Friday afternoon with a bad refrigerator. He called me back at 830pm, diagnosed the problem over the phone in seconds, and told me what was wrong, what part I needed, where to get it, that it would take only a few minutes to put it in, and referred me to a youtube video showing how it was done. He then gave me the option of doing it myself or paying him to come out. He put talked himself out of a job by helping me over the phone for free. It didn't take me any longer than a service call would have. I will call him next time.

I called Kevin on a Saturday morning to talk to him about the problems I'm having with my washer. He asked me a few questions about the symptoms and was able to diagnose the issue and look up cost of the necessary part while I was on the phone. Ultimately, we decided that the cost of repair was more than the machine is worth, so I'll replace the machine. He offered me some advice on what machines to look for and a possible source for good used machines. I'll definitely give him a call with any issues I have in the future.

Kevin went into a political rant. Easy job, he was late because his dog was in heat. For a little as he did he was high priced

He was very professional and his used appliances were emaculate.

I called regarding a few items: noisy ice maker dispenser, dryer not drying clothes, noisy oven hinge. Kevin came out as promised and looked at those items plus a broken piece in my dishwasher. He advised that the dryer vent needed to be cleaned out, but that I should call someone who does that specific work; and gave me a source for parts for the dishwasher and oven. He offered to give me an estimate for the refrigerator part, but I told him I wanted to go ahead and fix it, which was my bad. I should have asked up front what his service call fee was and if he rolled it into the actual repair/labor costs if I had him come back. He did say that he wouldn't charge me a service call on the first visit if I was definitely going to have him come back to do the repair. I didn't realize that he would be charging that fee on top of the repair labor and the part. The service providers I have worked with in the past did not charge a separate service call fee if the repair work was done - only the parts/labor. When I mentioned that the cost was higher than I anticipated, he did take $20 off. I then realized later that his math was incorrect and he charged me $40 more than the actual adjusted total. He did come back and get a new check from me after I called him about the error. I was also surprised when ordering the dishwasher parts online a few days later that I found the fountain kit would have cost me $69 vs $98 he charged me had I ordered it myself - a 40% upcharge. I'm not entirely sure he used the full kit, as the solenoid was the part he said was bad. I felt like I paid more than I should have for the service that was provided, but I should asked questions before going ahead with the repair, and he saved me money by giving me information about where to get the parts that would be easy to replace myself, so I guess it evened out in the end.

Very smoothly. Knew what he was doing, did the work promptly, very pleasant and courteous.

Basically Kevin makes my life easy. He has gone out to 2 units so far for us. He has contacted the renter, set up the fix time, fixed the refrigerator and calls me immediately after the repair is done. Really could not ask for more.
