Description of Work: Kevin was an excellent repairman for my Maytag washer. He called ahead telling me approx. time of arrival and what van to look for. He accessed what the problem was and all he parts needed were in his van. He cleaned the drum and even the floor under the washer. He explained what he was doing as well as a little tutorial on the history of Maytag. He was a joy to have in my home.

Description of Work: Spoke with provider for quite awhile on the phone and made tentative appointment times within the next few days. He was going to get back with me on the day and time he could do the service. He never called back. He was pleasant to talk to and knowledgeable but seemingly not too reliable.

Description of Work: Keith was excellent. ?He called before arriving. ?Arrived on time. ?Spend the necessary time to do the job right, and came prepared with the parts necessary - not requiring a follow up visit (costing more $$$). ?Highly recommend.

Description of Work: I've called a few HVAC companies to ask about a furnace repair/inspection. ?When I called I spoke directly to Kevin who quickly learned that I was trying to solve a cold house problem and my options are either a furnace tune up or insulating the crawl space. ?Kevin. ?When he heard that our furnace was only 7 years old he said he doubted it was the furnace and took his own time to answer my questions about insulation even after confirming my issue wasn't the furnace. ?He had virtually nothing to gain by helping me and for that reason I would absolutely use Kevin for other services the next time I need them.

Description of Work: Kevin handled my problems with our oven and ice maker by phone alone when he just as well could have come out and charged us for the same services. The most honest repairman I've ever encountered.

Description of Work: I would recommend Kevin's services to anyone. He is a very knowledgable technician & is able to repair dishwashers rather quickly. His fees are reasonable & not inflated like so many other service businesses. He can be trusted.

Description of Work: Kevin was easy to reach and helpful in first discussing the issue with my Kitchenaid dishwasher to determine if I could make the repair myself. This was not the case, so Kevin arrived on time and quickly went to work making the necessary repairs and took alot of time making sure the unit was completely clean and running properly. Excellent service level and knowledge.

Description of Work: I called for a problem with my refrigerator, and Kevin walked me through how to clean the condenser coils and told me I didn't really need him! I am so impressed that the next time I actually need an honest repairman, he will be the first I call!

Description of Work: Called Kevin because I needed my washer and dryer mounted on pedestals and hooked up. He was on a job and said he would call me back. When he did not, I called again and he said he would have to get his brother to help him, which would cost more. Never heard from him again. Found someone else to do the job. Very unprofessional and unresponsive. He did call me a week later offering to come over and do the job, but I already had found someone else. He said he had to wait for his brother in law to be available.

Description of Work: The provider was great but I have a problem with Angie's list selling me a $50 discount on the service for $25. Then the provider would not accept it. so instead of it costing me the $55 the provider charged it cost me $80 because I bought a worthless discount certificate from Angie's list.

Description of Work: "MY CLOTHES WASHER BEGAN LEAKING WATER IN LARGE QUANTITY. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT APPLIANCES. I SAW THE RELATIVELY HIGH RATINGS KEVIN HAD RECEIVED ON ANGIE'S LIST AND GAVE HIM A CALL. A SNOW STORM DELAYED HIS RESPONSE BY A DAY BUT WHEN HE GOT HERE HE WENT RIGHT TO WORK, QUICKLY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM, REPLACED THE FAULTY PART AND CHECKED HIS WORK . THE WASHER HAS BEEN DRY AND HUMMING EVER SINCE. THANK YOU KEVIN. "

Description of Work: I definitely cannot recommend this vendor to Angie's List subscribers. Here is the letter I sent to Kevin of Kwality Appliance: Kevin, On 11/21/12 you came to my home to replace the boot on my LG washing machine. I was not there. I arranged for my brother to let you in for the work. When I returned home that evening my brother informed me that you had burned a circuit board while replacing the boot. There is no circuit board associated with the boot. The fact that you shorted it out attests to the poor quality of your work. Your comment to my brother was you were going to take the board home and try to fix it and that you wanted to leave before I got home because you knew I would be upset. I was very upset that you would leave and not have the good business courtesy to call me, your customer, to tell me what happened or what was going on. I did not hear from you until Mon 11/26!! In the meantime, not knowing your plan and not really trusting you or that a circuit board could be restored, I have had to purchase a new washer. So, where I expected a repair cost of $200 I now had to spend that several times over. I do not want you to return to my home. You may keep the circuit board in lieu of any compensation you think you are due.

Description of Work: Kevin found that my AC/Heater blower motor had sucked up debris from some other workers visit (a nylon flashlight holster). He demonstrated how the bracket on the motor had been broken and wasn't repairable, and he set about finding a quality replacement at a decent price. He was very professional and prompt, and he finished the replacement quicker than expected.

Description of Work: Dryer was not working. Gave Steve make and model numbers over the phone. He came very quickly, took care of the work right away. It was the shut off switch, and he had one with him. And was cheerful about it all too ! Highly recommend him !!
