Within 4 hours of the initial phone call the freezer was fixed. The freezer had already been defrosted so the process was faster.

He is friendly, knowledgeable, and does a really good job.

Excellent service! He could have easily made a service call to fix the problem. Instead, he took time to ask me questions and fix the problem over the phone and at no charge!! He will be the first person I call for appliance problems. Highly recommend! Angie's List is the BEST!

Our dryer stopped functioning properly on Saturday night. First thing Monday morning (7 am) I called Kevin, who answered and was willing to fit us in that day. He was here < 4 hours later and diagnosed the problem as a broken timer. He ordered the part and promised to return the next day to complete the repair. He called late Tuesday morning and promised to be out that afternoon. He arrived and completed the repair, and all seems well with the dryer so far.

I called Kevin on Monday as my oven was no longer heating up. Even though I live in Longmont, he came out that same afternoon to take a look at it. Kevin knew immediately what was wrong, and he said he would pick up the part and call me to schedule. He called the next day. However, I couldn't be home again until Friday, my next day off from work. Kevin came and in no time had the oven working again. He did a fantastic job, and I was very pleased by the whole experience. Let me tell you too how I came to use Kevin. My husband told me to call Sears for the repair since we had purchased the stove there about 6 years ago. I did, and they told me that he would cost $109 just to have someone come to look at the oven to diagnose the problem. I called several other places in Longmont, and again I was told that the charge would be at least $69 to come out just to look at the oven. When I asked what the additional charge would be to fix it, I was told that it would be much more than $100. At this time I was thinking just to trash the stove and buy a new one. So, I went to Angie's List and found Kevin. He came to my house twice from Arvada, and the whole cost was just $179. I'll use him again in a heartbeat! Just a slight warning though: Kevin does have strong opinions on several subjects, and he does feel it's his mission to educate others. So, if you don't mind learning something new like I did, then he's definitely the man for the job.

I called Kevin on Monday, when I realized that our washer would not drain when spinning. He was able to come by that afternoon, and he quickly diagnosed the problem. He ordered the needed part and contacted me to let me know that he was able to return to install it on Tuesday. However, my schedule did not allow him to come back until two days later. He replaced the part and our washer works again!

My washer had sprung a leak, so after researching on Angie's List, I called Kevin. He correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone, as a water valve gone bad. He fixed the problem and charged what he said he would charge. I didn't get other bids, but I doubt I could have gotten this repair done much cheaper (unless I did it myself, & I'm not the most mechanically competent person around). Perhaps I could have also saved money by purchasing the part and having him put it in - we did not discuss this option. Kevin's a personable fellow, and struck me as honest and decent.

Called Kevin and related the problem. He asked for the model number and said he would check it out and get back to me. He told me that he could not get out the same day, but then inquired as to if it was an emergency and if their were kids and a bunch of backed up laundry. I told it that it was not an emergency, whenever he could make it out would be fine. He called back about ten minutes later and gave me some advice about the water pump - I took the pump apart and found a quarter stuck in the impeller - problem solved. Called Kevin back and asked what I owed him for his time and effort, he told me that he was glad he could help and there was no charge. Great doing business with folks who not only know their business, but are good people, would definitely recommend his company to anyone needing appliance repair. Major points for knowledge and honesty - way to go Kevin.

I called Kevin and he was super responsive and a good communicator. He understood the urgency given the amount of laundry my family produces and did he best to stop out the same day to look at it so he could get any parts that might be necessary ordered asap. He kept in great touch letting me know when to expect him, etc. which I greatly appreciated. He even applied the Angie's List discount without me even having to ask.

I found Kevin's information on Angie's List. He called me back and we wer able to set something up within a few days that worked for my schedule. Kevin hooked up our new gas dryer and was able to extend the gas line so it reaches the dryer. He was very professional on the phone and provided great service. He was prompt and willing to come across town first thing in the morning to work with our schedule. We would certainly recommend him to others.

Fantastic and Kevin really knows what he is doing, he pretty much figured it out on the phone but then came out to confirm in person after it got worse. He knew in 10 minutes what it was, knows where to get parts and was back and had it fixed with a new part in 2 days. Calls ahead, confirms time, gets there on time and with a price that is reasonable, I will use him again for sure.

He arrived on time and found the problem almost instantly. It was the button that tells the machine that the door is closed properly was stuck. In the end he just had to wiggle the button and start the machine with a little push of the drum. Yes that was nice that it was an easy fix without any extra parts or diagnosis needed. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was the time charge. I was tired and really should have just asked if he really felt that was fair to charge for time when it took all of about 10 minutes to fix with essentially no actual "labor" involved. Yes I could not have figured it out on my own. And at least he was honest and showed me what it was and how to fix it on my own in the future if it happened again. Lastly. Again Kevin was a nice guy.... but I think in the future he should keep his political views to himself. I HAPPILY voted for our current president and he made some disrespectful remarks(in my opinion about Obama) and the current state of affairs when he saw a sign I had in my window about our last president and he went on and on about it. Sorry Kevin but I was so shocked at the time I did not know how to respond. So that is the reason why I said I would not hire him again.

Having recently moved to our home, we had no knowledge of prior issues with either appliance and were not sure where to start.Kevin was very knowledgeable. He let me watch him the whole time and explained what he was doing and why. It was a great learning experience, and I feel more confident understanding how my appliances work and even tracking down likely causes of future (hope not) problems. He also showed me some shortcuts that previous homeowners or repair people may have made and why they were not effective.

My pretty new (5 years) washer was making a terrific banging sound and getting out of balance with every load - no matter the size or how carefully I loaded it. I called Kevin and he had some ideas over the phone and said he would bring the parts that fix might require to the appointment we set up. He arrived just when he said he would. He took about 30 mins tinkering under the machine and then announced that what he had suspected would be the problem wasn't. It was much more serious and while it surprised him because he expected my Whirlpool to have lasted much longer, he said the repair would cost more than the washer was worth. He apologized for the bad news and then gave me a ten-minute lesson in how to buy a new washer. He billed me $60 for the call - I thought reasonable because my house is almost as far away from his business as it is possible to be and still be in the same metro area. The punch line is that as I looked at washers over the next few days I had some other questions. I called Kevin and he was happy to answer them and keep the education coming. I'm happy to report I got a great deal on a machine that I have confidence in. Kevin was a pleasure to work with and, yes, he is a little chatty - but I didn't mind that hardly at all.

Kevin identified the problem with a dishwasher that was disfunctional, and then did some trouble-shooting to try to determine why an electrical outlet was not working. He was completely honest about what he could and could not (or was not qualified to) fix. Very professional and very pleasant.

Kevin promptly called me back after I left a message. I told him the problems I was having with my freezer and he asked for the model number. I got that information and he said I could probably look up how to solve the problem on the internet. I told him I didn't think I'd be able to fix it because of a problem I have with my right hand. He asked when I was available and we made an appointment for two days later. He knew exactly what the problem was...a frozen tube that usually drains into a pan under the refrigerator. It took about an hour to defrost the ice and I sat and talked with him during the process. He warned me that he was a "talker" and he was :-), but he did have interesting things to say. All in all a good experience.

Our refrigerator stopped keeping food cold over the past two days and he came out today (a Saturday) and fixed it! He diagnosed the problem and had the part on hand to fix it right there. He had it fixed within an hour and a half after his arrival. The price was great and his service was excellent. He didn't charge us extra for coming on a weekend either. I would recommend him to anyone!

He was incredibly nice and polite. He came out to our house and fixed the refrigerator completely. His prices were very reasonable and he was very professional.

Kevin is a consummate professional. His work has great quality and he does an excellent job in a timely manner. He is responsive and showed up on time. The price was more than expected, but for the quality of work done, there is no problem at all.

Mr. Sealman had visited the previous week to replace a heat-sensitive fuse (total cost $64). It appeared to be fixed, but developed an overheating problem the next week. Mr. Sealman returned, disassembled the dryer, found a physical problem causing a short circuit, and fixed it, all for no charge. His service was fast, thorough, and complete.

The service was fine. Kevin was unhappy, their part was tough.

We were desperately looking for a reliable company to hook up our dryer (after losing a part and Sears CANCELING our appt. after waiting for 4 hours! DO NOT USE THEM) Kevin was able to come the next day! We were so happy, since we hadn't been able to do laundry for almost 2 weeks! He was prompt and very polite and hooked up our dryer and cleaned the ducts/vents. The next day, I noticed that the dryer would automatically shut off after 10-15 min. when it was on the auto-sensor mode. I called Kevin and he came out that same day to look at it. He diagnosed the problem right away and told me he'd order the part (thought it would be a week), but instead he found the new sensor. I was happy not to wait a week and loved that he fixed it so quickly! Kevin is very knowledgeable and gave me some plumbing advice (very much appreciated!)--thank you!

Here's a story about integrity. We returned after spending 6 months away from our home, and right away had 2 major house "start up" problems to deal with. When the washing machine refused to finish its cycle, we assumed that the third major problem had happened. We called Kevin who was able to come out that day to try to diagnose the difficulty. The initial thought was that we would need a new timer for the washer for around $180. Kevin left to go order the part, but called us about a half a hour later and said he had been thinking. What if, instead of turning on the cold water to the washer, as I thought I had done, it had been on all the time, and I had actually turned it off? If that was the case, then the washer would get to the point in the cycle when it needed cold water to rinse and would just sit there, waiting for cold water. He said check the water and give him a call back. Sure enough, Kevin was right. The washer was not broken. It cost us $60 in "tuition" to learn not to jump to conclusions and to pay for his house call. But here's where integrity comes in. Kevin could have just as easily have ordered the timer and come back and installed it costing us another $240. Instead he thought through the problem and helped us solve it without any additional cost. Did I feel silly about the cold water? Sure! Did I feel great to find an appliance repair person I could look to as being analytical and as having ingegrity? Absolutely! We will call Kevin again.

Kevin was contacted to repair our gas oven that had slowly been taking longer and longer to heat until it finally just died. Upon calling him and describing the problem, he seemed to know exactly what the problem was and indicate he would contact us back. Although we initially questioned whether or not he was going to call us back (what do you do when you are out an oven for a week - well, beside lots of take-out!?). However, about a 5 days later he called us to let us know he had already ordered the part, it had arrived, and he was available to fix the oven. He was at the house the next day fixing our oven! Thank you, Kevin! The oven is working wonderfully now. We are very glad we didn't end up replacing an oven!
