Todd (and Robert) performed the work over a four day period which was originally scheduled for five days (finished ahead of schedule). I asked Todd for an estimate and received it within an hour. In reading reviews about having hardwoods refinished I had been concerned about lack of attention to detail and damage to baseboards and other areas surrounding the floors. I choose Juxtaposition for the job because of Todd's reputation for attention to detail, cleanliness, promptness, and minimizing damage to areas where sanding would be done. After having the work completed, I have to say that Todd's work exceeded my expectations and was consistent with the reviews I had read. After completing the work, I accidently walked on an area that had not completely dried. I called Todd worried about it and he mentioned that the fix was easy and made accommodating arrangements to come by and fix. I would highly recommend Juxtaposition for any hardwood service. We recently had a remodel done which included adding hardwood floors to our kitchen. While the floors were installed good by our previous contractor, he did a horrible job with the finishing. So I called Todd and he was able to come in 3 weeks and completely redo our entire house's wood floors. I wish I would have had him install the floors to start because not only would it have been done right, but it would have cost less using Todd for installation.With our previous contractor the dust from the sanding coated the dishes inside our cabinets, with Todd's dustless system there was only a slight coating of dust on the countertop - night and day difference.The floors of course look great as should be expected, but the little things like touching up trim, helping move bigger furniture and no hidden costs after the quote make Juxtaposition a great choice for your hardwood floors.

I was really impressed with the quality of the work and Todd's professionalism. The floors looked great. Todd uses water-based coating, so the smell was tolerable and you could quickly use the floors. The team left the place very clean after the work, which is so important for me. There was a minor issue with the screen door not closing properly, but I was able to fix that. Communication was great. I would definitely use their services again when we refinish the rest of the house. Thank you!

Todd really knows what he's doing and it helps that he's so personable and easy to work with. We really enjoyed working with him and are so happy with our new hardwood floors. We originally got estimates from 4 companies, 2 in the Evergreen area and 2 from down the hill. Todd's estimate was definitely the most reasonable and we liked that he wasn't trying to make a sales pitch. We could tell he knows flooring and knew what look we were aiming for. The price and time frame did not change throughout the project, which lasted a little over two weeks. Todd had a crew come in to do the demo which only took one Friday and then he got to work installing the floors, as promised, the following Monday. Everything went smoothly and Todd updated us as necessary about his progress. Each day when we got home it was fun to see his progress and we could tell the high quality of workmanship. When it was time to choose a stain Todd was really helpful in leaving swatches with us and then staining large sections of the floor so we could tell what the colors would look like. He was scheduled to finish up just a few days before Christmas, and he stayed on time. The results are beautiful and the floor transformed our space. We highly recommend Juxtaposition Hardwood to anyone wanting to redo their floors.

I was very impressed with Todd's attention to detail. The price never changed. His operation is truly dustless. Amazing. What we agreed on was what he did and he did it well. I am very happy with my new hardwood floors. I would recommend Juxtaposition hardwood and would absolutely use him again.

Todd did excellent work, communicated well and did what he said he was going to do when we agreed he was going to do it. The floors turned out amazing, its clear he has many years experience and a lot of knowledge when it comes to hardwood floors.

Todd was great to work with. He was prompt, accurate and definitely paid attention to the little details. Our 50 year old oak floors went from downright ugly to just beautiful in 2 days ! I suppose the most telling standouts were: 1. Though not a part of the original bid, Todd installed a threshold for us where one didn't exist for no additional cost. 2. He spent time creating samples of stain to help us make the right choice. He was patient and just wanted us to be happy with our decision. 3. If he was going to be just a few minutes late, he called to let us know. Great customer service. Highly recommended.

Todd is wonderful to work with. He is very responsive, did additional research on some questions I had and provided me the answers that I needed to make a decision. Todd worked around my schedule and was very flexible. My home had hardwood installed by the builder a few years ago and needless to say they were not well done. Todd did a fantastic job refinishing the hardwood floors; they look brand new and wonderful. The dust free environment was fantastic. Upon completion Todd followed up to make sure I was completely satisfied and he even stopped by to make sure all was well. Todd?s estimate was comparable and sometimes less than other estimates I received. I choose Todd because he was very personable and I liked the fact that Todd did the work himself, he didn?t bring a crew in and leave them. I trusted Todd in my home and respect the way he does business. I will be using Todd to install new hardwood floors in my second home. We called Juxtaposition Hardwoods after the other company we were going to use suddenly couldn't find anyone to get out to our house to refinish the floors before the new renters came in. Todd came to our rescue and fit us into his schedule so that the floors would be done on time. He did a fabulous job and worked non-stop to be sure it was done on time. He really cares about doing a very thorough job. There were some cat urine stained areas that we were concerned would not be able to be refinished, but Todd did an awesome job with those areas. You can't tell there were ever any stains. We will definitely use him for all our future hardwood needs.

He was prompt about getting a quote for us. The quote was incredibly reasonable, he was very knowledgable about the entire process and he personally did all work. We could not be any happier with all aspects of the process. To this day our floors look great and are holding up very well. I'm not seeing the yellowing that some finishes turn after time. My floors are still a beautiful wood color without that brassy gold tint that they used to have. The stairs are squeak free which was very important to me. He did an awesome job tightening my stairs up to remove the squeaks before installing the hardwood on them. The edges are clean because he pays attention to little details. His work is very professional looking. The geometrical medallion he placed on the stair landing adds a touch of elegance to the look of my floors. He instructed us well as to what kind of cleaners to use and how to keep furniture from scratching our new floors. I will continue to use him as long as he's in business. I wouldn't even consider using anyone else.
