Do not do business with these guys. They are nice enough but not reliable. I had hail damage as a result of the big storm we had on July 1, 2016. I contracted them because my friend Pat worked for them at the time and he said they were great. I contracted them to do all of the exterior work that the insurance adjuster found. At first, Chase the Project Manager, was responsive. He did a good job making sure the adjuster found all the damage caused by the hail. Then the waiting began! I mean, I understand that things take time...but this was really an inordinate amount of time. The roof was done relatively quickly but the painting and the deck and the windows..months later! The windows are still not completed...over a year later!! They have left me with a broken pane in my kitchen, unfinished painting, and unfinished smaller items like exterior outlet covers that were damaged, seriously damaged drain spouts, and damaged light fixtures. You see, when the bulk of the work was completed, Chase started hounding me to sign a "Completion of Work" statement...I would not until all the work was complete. I made the mistake of letting him talk to my insurance company directly...do not do this! Once I was issued a check for the work that was competed (minus what they had not completed), Chase hounded me for payment. Frankly, I did not want to pay them at that point because the work was not completed...however, they did complete the bulk of the work so I agreed and paid them. I had a feeling they would disappear on me...and they did! I contacted Chase three times and attempted to contact Troy once...all with no response. You see, since they got their check they just moved on, I was no longer important. I only did business with these guys because of my friend Pat, who sadly passed away in late 2016. They have left me with a broken window, unfinished painting, broken outlet covers, damaged drain spouts, damaged light fixtures and a board pulling away from the roof that was caused by the installation of new gutters. I will be contacting my insurance company, the Better Business Bureau, the City of Castle Rock, and all online review sites. I regret doing business with them, learn from my mistake and avoid them.

I met with the company representative, and his subcontractor, on numerous occasions to explain the scope of the work. I explained that I wanted all of the rotten sheathing removed from under the door before new siding was replaced. I was assured by both the company representative, and the subcontractor, that the work would be completed. After several trips out to work on the project, I was personally told that the project was completed and all of the rotten sheathing had been removed. After repeatedly being assured that the rotten shearing had been removed, I reviewed the work and noted that the rotten sheathing had only been covered up and not removed. I called the company representative to explain that the work had not been done, even after I was told it was done by the subcontractor. The company representative said he believed the subcontractor, but would come out and review the work. Several weeks later, the company representative came out and verified that the work had not been done properly. The company rep sent out the subcontractor to complete the job. I'm very dissatisfied with the lack of honesty by the subcontractor, as well as the lack of a quick response by the company. If I had not double checked the work, the contractor would have been paid and I'd be stuck with rotten sheathing. I would not use this company any further for any additional work.

The job was an insurance job. I think they did a good job. I was basically satisfied. I did have some issues, but they addressed it.

The lead guy convinced my insurance company that I needed it. Another company came and said that I didn't need it. This guy took them on the roof and proved to them that I needed it. I was real positive about this guy because he went to bat for me and took care of it. They were fine to deal with. I only had two little issues with them. One was that they were a lot messier than I expected them to be. They put on a roof that was different than the one I had before and as a result they had to put a gap in it for air to breathe in it. My attic had a lot of trash in it and I didn't know it until I walked up there and saw it. They did a good job. They were in and out; they worked for two days and they worked really hard. They had to wait for the crazy inspector from the county and then the next day it snowed. They knew the snow was coming so they worked until dark to get it done. They took care of me to get it done. They encountered a little bit more expense than what the insurance company paid and he didn't ask for it unless the insurance company paid me. He took what the insurance company paid for it.

We had received a referral of Excalibur from a friend. We called them and had a salesman come out. He was thorough and answered all of our questions. He said that they would do some additional stuff and they did. The roof looks great. And we haven't found any nails laying around the property. They did great work.

They have roofed several houses in our neighborhood. We are very pleased with there work. They did the work in one day. They are efficient and do excellent quality work to code. They did a great job. They covered all requirements and more. They speak English and they are very polite. They protected plants and flowers in my yard. They were extremely respectful of my property. They also showed up on time, early on some days.
