I was very impressed with Denis's honesty. What happened was that I got water seeping up through the cracks in my basement floor after the heavy rains that caused all the flooding in Colorado. I had standing water in an area of the backyard that is flat, plus there is a lot of runoff from other yards. He told me that he didn't think an exterior french drain (surface level) would be cost effective solution to my problem, nor prevent trouble in the basement. He looked at the slope around the house and other issues, and said that although its somewhat flat, its not a huge problem. Therefore he said that he didn't think he could help, and that it was best if I got specialists to focus on the basement drainage. I'm always thankful for honesty, hence wanted to write this review. Denis also struck me as a very knowledgeable and professional person. I'll call him again if I need landscaping.
