COLORADO FLOOR CO

From the get go, we have had nothing but problems with Colorado Floor Company. After moving into our new home, our carpets had seams that they said could not be repaired, but the bigger problem was with our hardwood floor. The floor was full of warped boards, cracks, and splits. Their only answer was we and quot;should have a whole house humidifierand quot; to prevent this, which is either proof they don't know what they are doing or flat out lied to us. After numerous fixes and putty jobs, they finally agreed to sand the floor. We were out of our home for 5 days while they did this. We returned to floor that still had gaps and new dents and cracks in our boards. In addition, they splattered floor stain throughout the house on the baseboards, the wall, the door handle, and even outside the home. Their sander chipped and scratched our cupboards in our kitchen and shook the wall so much we have cracks in the drywall. When allowed to come in to our home to see why they would no longer be allowed to work on our home, their representatives were abusive, angry, and rude. They will never be allowed in our home again. If I had to say anything positive about them it is that they would typically arrive within the time frame they provided.

They added to some hardwood floors so they had to match the flooring that we had in here. It was a very positive experience. We met with the owner and we felt good about talking to him because he seemed very knowledgeable. He owns the business and they have a showroom there. It was nice that we could see some of the different flooring and we made the decision to go with the floor that we already have here but we added to it. We more than doubled the amount of the wood flooring that was in our home. They did a very nice job and they were very responsive. They were always on time for their appointments and they were fast. They did a very nice work and they matched the floor perfectly. I cannot even see anymore where the old floor was and the new floor so we were very happy with their work. They were very polite and the people that we worked with were really good. There was not anything negative that I could say about them at all. Their price was also competitive because we got three different bids. They were not the lowest but they were very close to the lowest price that we got.
