Description of Work: Severen was very nice and caulked a bunch of areas on the roof where water could get in. We have some water damage in the back of the house but the drywall is dry and he really didn't think we had a continuing problem but got on the roof anyway and caulked.

Description of Work: They decided that they didn't want to undertake this repair because results couldn't be guaranteed to be successful.

Description of Work: Severan called me the same day I emailed him and had a small window in his day he could come by. We were able to make it work. A storm the night before had caused a roof leak in my 4year old home. He was very thorough looking for issues, he had an open tube of caulk and sealed around my vents in the area. He's not sure that was the cause so we will wait for the next rain storm to see if the seal works. He wouldn't allow me to pay him since it was a "wait and see" kind of repair but he was super professional and won't hesitate to call him if I need him.

Description of Work: Our roof suffered extreme hail and wind damage during recent storms in the Aurora area. We contacted our insuance company for help, and met with an estimator and claims adjuster. We had never been through this process before; in the 15 years in our home had never suffered a loss. We were confused and anxious over the repairs and the repair process. We contacted Colo Roofing. Severn Pedersen is the owner of this roofing company. He could not have been easier to work with. He is professional and knowledegable and extremely accommodating. He worked with us to explain every aspect of the process; had his workers arrive on time and prepared; and came to the job-site himself to be sure everything was on track. He completed the job on time and on budget and made the experience completely smooth. We would recommend Severn and Colo Roofing for all your roofing needs.

Description of Work: Tear off of 20 year 3-tab shingle and replaced with 30 year dimensional shingle. Removal and replacement of gutters.

Description of Work: Our house was hit by a hailstorm in June of 2010. After speaking with a neighbor who had their roof replaced immediately after the storm, they recommended I contact Severen Pedersen. Upon inspection, Severen stated that the damage was significant enough for the roof to be replaced, but since there was no immeniate concern for leakage into the house, if I wanted to wait until the following spring to have it replaced, there should be no problem. My insurance company wrote up my claim with everything approved for the replacement of my roof, along with the repair of other damages caused by the hail storm. Severen contacted me several weeks ago, and we sat down to review the claim, materials and processes that would take place to get the roof replaced. All of my questions were answered to my satisifaction and a date was established for the re-roofing of my house. I would like to emphasis my satisifaction on communication. At no point during the re-roofing did I ever feel out of touch or have any concerns about the progress. Severen was at the property during most of the build and was happy to discuss each of the steps along the way. It would be my pleasure to recommend Colo Roofing to anyone requiring the re-roofing of their house. May I also make a note about Severen identifying hail damage to my wrought iron fence that was not originally included in the origianl inspection/claim. He contacted the insurance company and was able to obtain approval for a supplemental payout to have the fence electrostatically painted. Which by the way, turned out very nice.
