Castle Fresh House Cleaning

The lovely women from Castle Fresh once again cleaned my home to a sparkling clean finish. I have utilized their services multiple times and plan to continue using Castle Fresh to clean my home at least once a month. I originally found them through an Angie's List Deal but once I used their services, I realized they provided an excellent value for my money. Brian, Castle Fresh's voice, is very cordial and accommodating. I have scheduled several cleanings since the original cleaning through Angie's List and for one reason or another I have had to change the pre-selected date. Brian, has been more than accommodating to provide Castle Fresh's cleaning services on the day I ended up needing them to come.

um The team arrived in a timely manner and both members were pleasant. I paid Angie's list in advance and the knew that. They proceeded to work as I had given them a tour of my small condo. The kitchen and bathrooms were cleaned very well. I needed them to do a thorough vacuuming but their vacuum broke and they did not offer any plan about completing the work. I prpbably would not use this service again.

It was great. They were very friendly and did everything that I asked them to do. They did a wonderful job, I would definitely recommend them.

Crew showed up on time, calling 15 minutes ahead as I had requested to I could meet them at the property. They went right to work. Marta called me before they had finished and asked if there was anything else they could do before they left. When I went to look at the property, they did a really good job, having done everything I asked. They even moved the refrigerator back into place which had been pulled out so they could clean behind it. I appreciated that Bryan called to check in after the service was completed!

Castle Fresh Cleaning did fantastic job with their cleaning . I would highly recommend them. They had a great communication with them. They have excellent customer service.

One of cleaners didn't show so the Manager comped the whole price for us and had the remaining cleaner complete the job. very professional, really came through for us.

The cleaner arrived on time and was very friendly. She dusted and vacuumed a sun room and washed the window frames. She dusted an office and washed the office floor. She washed the front of the garage door. She cleaned the inside and outside of a door from the kitchen to the garage and washed a garage door to the back yard. She washed a freezer and outside of a cabinet in the garage. She washed the front door and associated window frame. She washed the frame of a door to the patio. She cleaned the bannisters and railings to the stairs leading downstairs. She was quite efficient and did a very good job. I would certainly consider using this company again.

This house was very dirty after the tenants moved out. However, it is also not very large--only 1600 SF above ground. I saw the coupon on Angies list for a deep clean for $149. Thought this would do the job. The house was vacant, so needed cleaning in 1.5 small baths, the kitchen, and the rest of the living areas. Including serious cleaning of the trim. Also wanted the basement swept but they didn't get there. The owner said he was sending a crew of 2, but 3 showed up. He asked me not to buy the Angies list coupon, and said he would do the same deal directly. he also explained that if the job wasn't done in 4 hours (8 hours total for 2 people) the extra time would be billed at $25 per hour per person. The crew arrived promptly at about 10:00 am (I think they were actually a few minutes early). They were nice, english speaking. At 5:30 I stopped back at the house anticipating that the work would be finished, but it wasn't. at that point, they were still working on the kitchen. I had to help them pull out the refrigerator--and we discovered that there was a dead mouse and a pile of mouse feces behind the refrigerator. Pretty gross stuff. Then I had to leave for dinner. Not sure how long they stayed after that, but I will say that they did not dust any of the 4 ceiling lights on the main level, and did not really do anything in the basement as far as I could tell except wipe down the washer dryer. I then got an email from the owner charging me $550 for what he claimed was a total of 20.5 hours. I asked why the lights or the tops of the kitchen cabinets didn't get cleaned in that 20 hours, and the owner really copped an attitude with me, and did not offer anything to make it right. Perhaps the coupon was misleading--if a deep clean of a small house can't be completed in 8 hours probably the coupon should have just said I was buying 8 hours of cleaning without specifying what exactly they would accomplish. No question the house is cleaner than it was, and there was a lot to do, but I would have preferred they finish the obvious stuff (like removing cobwebs from the light fixtures) first. I was not given the option to stop the work at the agreed upon deal price. so getting a final bill that was more than 3 times what I expected was an unpleasant shock. And the owner's customer service sealed my decision to not use them again. Its too bad, because i was looking for regular cleanings, but these guys are expensive, don't finish the job, and the owner has a bad attitude.

Brian is great to work with - professional, quick to respond, flexible to meet the needs of the customer. Rachel is our lead cleaner - and she's wonderful! Very thorough, and clearly cares about doing a great job. She's also very sweet with my kids! I would highly recommend this company.

They were fabulous and did an amazing job.

The advertised cleaning was a deep cleaning. *Edging of carpet wasn't clean, found areas in corners that weren't touched. *Arrival was scheduled between 8 and 9 am - Only one cleaner had arrived by a little after 9 am. (I did receive a call that they would be running late) *One of the drawers in the refrigerator was put back in not level, which prevented the drawer from opening. Overall, this was an average cleaning, not really a deep cleaning. I was, however, impressed with the desire to help that was expressed by the person that I did talk to. I didn't see the additional person who was supposed to assist.

Did a wonderful job cleaning the house. I was not there to supervise and they still did great. Will use them again.

Scheduled to come to my place for an estimate of cleaning on 5/20/13 between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Never called, never

The owner was great. He came to my house gave us an estimate, and scheduled the appointment. The cleaning people came and cleaned the house on time. But they did not do a deep cleaning. The did all the major stuff like the bathroom and kitchen. But they did not dust in a lot of places, including the blinds. They also did not vacuum the furniture. Overall, I was not happy with the quality of cleaning I got for the money.

They were absolutely wonderful. They showed up on time and they were thorough. It was just really good. They did a nice job. They came right out on the first Monday that I asked them to come out. They went above and beyond. Their price was excellent.

Cleaning was sketchy. I wanted dusting, floors, one bed changed, kitchen and bathrooms cleaned...900 sq. foot condo. Dust balls under furniture. Nothing on computer desk dusted. Small plant stand still had dust balls underneath. Duvet cover put in sideways after I specifically showed cleaners how they worked. Some carpets did not look well vacuumed...I did a fair amount of re dusting and vacuuming. Bathrooms and kitchen were reasonably clean, but on bathroom had trash on the floor that had fallen from can when being emptied. Love Brian, the owner. Really wanted to be happy with this service.

The work went great. They were very efficient and came in and got the job done. They worked their butts off.

we used this service for a move out cleaning on a house we rented. the cleaners did an excellent, thurough job- the place looked great. i was very pleased by the experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for a good cleaning

CastleFresh Housecleaners provideded me with an overall very positive experience with my housecleaning work. I hired them off of the good reviews I'd read in Angie's List. I called CasteFresh and spoke with Brian who scheduled me to use their $149 deep housecleaning special. They had availability within a couple of days and a team came to my home on time on the scheduled day. Overall, I would give the first team sent out a grade of B- or C+ in the area of quality. (In general, my home is well maintained and free of clutter so when a housekeeping service comes in I have high expectations in the area of quality.) When I read the reviews on CastleFresh, I heard many positive compliments regarding Rachel's work, so I was hoping they would schedule her and a teammate for my initial clean with this company, but unfortunately I got a newer team. The newer team forgot to clean out my refrigerator (with was included with my $149 special). They also didn't clean all of the tile in my bathroom, didn't adequately dust/polish all wood surfaces, they also missed obvious stains and sticky messes on my hardwood floors. The problem with the floors was primarily noticed under furniture that could have easily been moved to clean under. The other issue was that they accidently broke one of my front drawers in my kitchen. After the team left, I immediately called the office and spoke with Brian, who listened to my concerns and expressed that he wanted to correct all of the issues that same day. He called in one of his best cleaners ( Rachel), who I mentioned earlier and her teammate to come to my house after they were done with their day. Rachel and her teammate came and proceeded to correct every issue I pointed out. When I showed Rachel the mess still left under my chair on my hardwood floors, she didn't just spot clean, but insisted on re-doing all of my hardwoods. Her teammate did an amazing job cleaning out my refrigerator. It sparkled and still does! Rachel addressed the other quality issues I mentioned and handled everything very thoroughly. I forgot to mention that Brian had stopped by my home earlier for a surprise quality check with the newer team, and when he was here the team had only done two rooms in my basement and all looked well at that time. I was pleased with his initiative to make sure I was satisfied. I think part of the problem was when the quality of their work went down after Brian left when the team was cleaning my main floor, they seemed somewhat rushed, I don't know maybe they were overbooked or inexperienced. After speaking with Brian over the phone with my concerns, he made a second trip personally to fix the kitchen drawer that was broken. He made sure I was completely satisfied before he or Rachel's team left. Since he felt like it should have been done right to begin with, he only charged me $75.00 for the entire day of service. This is 1/2 of what I was obligated to pay. At the end of the day, my house was cleaner and brighter then ever and I was thrilled when he promised me that Rachel's team will be assigned to my house going forward, as I wanted to contract for monthly cleanings. I'm sure I'll be highly satisified with the quality of the work going forward. Overall Castlefresh (specifically Brian and Rachel) , made my experience extremely positive. I strongly recommed this company for others to try as they truly stand by their work and care very much about customer satisfaction.

Over all I am very pleased. They accomplished exactly what I wanted.

They arrived on time, Jennifer kept me up to speed on just what they were doing, and they knew I had to leave by a certain time, so they made sure to be finished.
