Castle Fresh House Cleaning

The girls were prompt and friendly. I did not think my expectations were met. After they left I found my shower soap dishes weren't clean as well as the shower tracks and my glass coffee table had been missed. They went through the kitchen too quickly for my satisfaction, so it was not a good experience for me. I spoke to the scheduler and she asked if I wanted to have another cleaner and I said no I would not be using the company any more.

Excellent and very thorough. They even cleaned the baseboards and top of the door moldings. Very professional team.

The deep clean was very good. The team showed up on time, was professional and courteous and did what they advertised to do. I used them for a short time for ongoing cleanings, but found that the standard cleanings were not as good, and the back office had repeated issues with billings. I would use them again, but only for the deep cleanings. I have hired another housekeeper to help with normal service.

Cleaning turned out to be anything BUT DEEP. Workers showed up without step stool or ladder. Ceiling fans, light fixtures, top of bookshelves, top of refrigerator, tops of most of wall hangings not even touched. Carpet vacuumed but corners were not done and we had to walk around and pick up flotsam and jetsam that the vacuum did either not pick up or deposited from elsewhere. Wood floors were swept and cleaned however in many areas we had to redo the floor because streaks were left on the floor. Looked like a dirty mop may have been used. Overall felt was not a deep cleaning as advertised. We have had deep cleaning done before and this company was not close to our expectations. In defense, the owner did offer to send a crew back to correct the problems at no charge, however, we had already decided we do not want this outfit back in our house again and have decided to do the job ourselves. Expensive lesson learned. Will use and quot;word of mouthand quot; from local friends next time rather than internet.

The cleaning team did a great job! They were nice, professional, and did a great cleaning job. The reason for the lower rating is for their office staff. Mainly Bryan. I found him to be rude and lacked in bedside manner. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was when I was informed that they were arbitrarily raising my rate after almost a year of using them 2x a month. Oh, and the warning I got? An e-mail 3 days before the scheduled visit. I definitely got the impression that they didn't want my business.

Two ladies came right on time to clean the house. They did a good job although it wasn't the best cleaning job Ive ever received but for two hours it was fine. However, they cleaned my husbands brand new (2 days old) shaving mirror with a rag/sponge that scratched it so badly we had to throw it out. I called the company to let them know about the damage and they refused to take responsibility. They basically said sorry, we can't help you with that. They said the rags they use don't cause glass/mirror damage. I know it was them because the mirror was brand new and had never been cleaned before. I wouldn't use them again because I feel that if a cleaning company breaks or damages something they should take responsibility. Good thing it was a $30 mirror and not a $200 or $2000 furniture item!

I'm new in town and just moved into a 1924 house full of dust and previous owners muck. I called the first place I found on Angie's list. Dee, on the phone was very nice and accommodating. She sent Maima over to my house that afternoon and it was as if the cleaning god mother magically appeared in my kitchen and cleaned it exactly the way I wanted without needing much direction form me. She wiped out all the drawers and cabinets, scrubbed gunk off the stove, cleaned the dirty fridge the previous owners left, took down the light fixtures and thoroughly cleaned those, cleaned my windows and windowsills and even cleaned off those top shelves on doors and cabinets whose only purpose is to collect dust. I HAD to give her hug when she was done and I cannot wait until she gets back and cleans more of my new to me house.

I needed a new housecleaning company, since the company I had used for years, had really gone downhill. I called Castle Fresh and they got me on their schedule. Rachel and her teammate, Litta did an amazing job! One of my biggest problems is dust and pet hair, and when Rachel was done, I had never seen so much fur! She cleaned up and over and under everything! I am sure she actually cleaned up everything else the other service had missed!! Litta got the kitchen sink and stove more clean than I have seen them in years. They were fast, but very thorough, and very professional! I will definitely be using them again. Thank you so much for a positive experience and a super clean house!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I wanted a whole house cleaning before my company arrived back in the end of July. The cleaning crew arrived early which I appreciated. We briefly discussed what needed done and at first she said they couldn't do the extra's that I had asked of them as she explained to me they would not have enough time. Before they left they asked me to do a brief walk around. I noticed that the MB shower tile wasn't totally clean, there was residue left in the tub, the MB toilet was not wiped down either. In the hall bath the light fixtures were not wiped off. The kitchen floor was moped with a swiffer like device using water and there were stains still on the linoleum. I asked her to re-mop. She took a used rag and wiped the spots off. My dining room chairs were partially dusted (the rungs were still dirty) among a few other things. I was upset and contacted the company and they offered me one free hour with a crew of 2 people. I decided to give them a second chance and kindly accepted their offer and asked to have one more additional hour added and I would pay for that hour. They agreed and so the second cleaning was scheduled for today. I got a call that they were 40 minutes early and because I wasn't home (I was called out to my son's school) they could not stay for the one hour cleaning and had to reschedule. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED in the fact that they were only scheduled to stay for one hour when I clearly asked for 2 and that they weren't willing to stay and wait for me to get back home at the originally scheduled time. I will NOT be using this service again. Their lack of follow-thru is beyond unacceptable. I do not recommend using this company.

Kellie and Nicki did a good job. They were organized and efficent. They accomplished everything we asked and more. I would definately use this company again and have already reccomended them to family and friends.

I was very pleased indeed with Maima and Tammie, my team of cleaners. This was the first time that I had wanted professional help - the house was a mess from adult children moving out into the world, I was working overtime hours, and company was arriving. The place was much dirties than usual, and I had no chance of restoring order before guests would arrive. Maima and Tammie were prompt. They were given a quick tour of the house, and I showed them somethings that they could not be expected to know (i.e. one small bookcase was on the verge of simply falling apart, and to use great care with it). They got straight to work, dividing tasks. They were there for an hour before it even occurred to me to turn on the radio for them! I will most assuredly use them again; I asked them and was told that visits for lighter, mantenence cleaning could be arranged, or visits in whatever timeframe and to accomplish whatever tasks could be arranged. I could request them specifically, or be assigned others. A few days afterwards, owner Bryan emailed me to follow up and find out if all had gone well, and I appreciated this contact as I believe that it shows good customer service and organization.

My husband and I hire house cleaners a couple times per year to ease the workload of cleaning our house. We have a small two bedroom house, but with two dogs, the fur situation can be hard to keep up with. I also cook a lot, so the kitchen needs extra TLC periodically. I was looking for a company that would charge me less than the service I had been using, and in less time--one cleaner would typically take 3-3.5 hours. The pros: Castle Fresh sent a team of two cleaners, for an hour and a half appointment, and gave me an "Angie's list discount." The cleaners brought their own supplies and showed up on time. They were polite and got right to work. The cons: when the cleaners arrived, I showed them around and pointed out the areas I wanted them to focus on. I requested that they dust the wooden blinds in my living room. They told me that they might not be able to get to the blinds, but would try if they had extra time at the end of my appointment (which doesn't make a lot of sense, because generally you would want to dust prior to vacuuming, right?) They finished 15 minutes early, but didn't bother with the blinds--maybe because they were embarrassed about what happened with my stove (see below). The woman who cleaned the kitchen was very thorough--a little too thorough. She went to work on my gas range, going so far as to remove the ceramic caps that cover the igniter and gas supply for each burner, and proceeded to spray cleaner on the stove. The result was that the igniters got wet and continued to click repeatedly; I was outside and she came to tell me about it. I unplugged the stove and contacted an appliance repairman right away. He assured me that once the igniters dried, everything should be fine, so I had the ladies keep cleaning. Two months later, my burners still act up occasionally, not lighting reliably; the stove had always worked great before hiring Castle Fresh. The woman who cleaned my bathroom was less thorough: once the cleaners left, I noticed she had not touched the glass shower walls and doors--they were still cloudy and covered with soap scum. This is a pretty fundamental part of cleaning a bathroom. I normally would have done a walk through before they left, but I was annoyed with the stove situation so I was just glad they were leaving. All in all, the house was mildly cleaner than when they arrived, but the spotty performance and extra hassle with the stove left me underwhelmed. I will not be using this company again.

They were fine. I thought they did a great job. I did not know exactly what to expect. I thought maybe a little more of what they had done, but maybe that was just my way of interpreting it. It is not necessarily about them. My interaction with them was fine. There were no problems at all. They were good. The work turned out good. I was satisfied.

It was awesome and worth every penny! Rachel and Jasmine were awesome! The work hard and gave great customer service! The cleaned everything, and I do mean everything! My house has NEVER been so clean!!

Castle Fresh has been doing a phenomenal job cleaning our house. We have tried a couple of different companies, but none seem to compare to the professionalism of Castle Fresh. We especially love Rachel. She does such a thorough job with our home, and always asks us if there is anything else she can do before she leaves. Our house is spotless when she is on the job. She is also very personable and says hello to everyone in our house, including our 11 month old son. Once again we a very pleased with the job Castle Fresh does overtime they come to our home.

A three person crew arrived and 3 hours later, it was clean as a whistle! They did a great job and I did not find one spot they missed. I'd hire them again, for sure.

They did a marvelous job. They arrived on time, were super efficient, and fun to have in my home. I couldn't believe how much they accomplished while they were here. They followed my requests to a "T". The place looked wonderful when they were done. I will definitely hire them again, and likely on a monthly basis. (I'd have them more often if I could more easily afford the service.) They do give a senior discount of 10% which is very helpful.

Castle Fresh House Cleaning cleaned my house after I moved out. This was for putting the house on the market for sale. They did a good job and I would recommend them and use them again.

They went way over the time. They didn't seem to get as much done during the time they said they would.

For the first year or so, the service was wonderful. Then as the business grew rapidly with the help of Angie's List, things started to go downward in all aspects, finally to a point when I had to end the service, largely due to the rudeness of the owner. The employee turnover rate is amazingly high, the direct impact of which is the constantly changing crew who got dispatched to my house. With new crew every time I had to show them around the house and tell them the items to clean (Ironically I got blamed by Brian the owner by not giving him "a detailed list of my work order") . My current house has a central vac system. But after a few times I had to ask them to use their own vacuum cleaner because it was just too time consuming to teach the new folks over and over again how to use it. Plus with a young child at home I just hate to have so many strangers come to my house all the time. My service was biweekly cleaning with a two-person crew. Over the years, I have been pushed by Brian numerous times to increase my service hours or to enroll in their "elite VIP" program to get better service, which I didn't take. I felt that I was paying the fair market price and the time was sufficient for our three-person household as I did tell them they could rotate the empty guest bedrooms. As long as the crew cleaned well, I never complained that they didn't do my whole house. The other negative impact of high employee turnover rate was the HUGE variability in the cleaning quality. Over the whole period working with this company, there were two or three crews that I really enjoyed working with. For each of the them, I got to work with them for about two or at most three months consistently. Most of the others were just ok while some were very novice and unprofessional/untrained cleaners. When it got really bad I had to complain to the boss and he would offer me small discount for next service. And you got a better crew for next cleaning. Then things got worse again till your next complaint. I am so tired of this cycle. Nevertheless, Brian did let me know repeatedly that if I pay 50% more he could guarantee the same crew I like. Last but not least, cancelling or rescheduling service. They have thorough policy restricting your ability to cancel or reschedule your service. However, if they cancel your service, even 20 or 30 minutes before the arrival time on the day, no consequence whatsoever. For this most recent cleaning last Friday, another new crew came and did a great job. I emailed Brian to let him know thinking he would be happy getting positive feedback. Well, what I got in two hours was a very rude email saying the crew wouldn't come back unless I increase my service hours, and my VIP expired (which I think should be the end of June since he agreed to put my service on hold for two months last year) and I need to pay more, and I need to give him a detailed work order blahblah. Clearly it was a sign that he didn't want to work with me anymore. Overall, I agree with other reviews that this company does have some good employees to provide quality service. However with the owner's poor management and customer service skills I wouldn't consider using their service or recommend to others.

I have hired Castle Flesh a couple times. The first time was a 4-hour regular cleaning. They did a fabulous job cleaning the kitchen appliances and bathrooms. I hired them again for a 5-hour moving out cleaning and we were very impressed with the quality. I moved away from the area; otherwise, I would have hired them again.

I've used several cleaning services in the past and have always been disappointed until now. My house literally sparkles when they are done! Nothing compares to the feeling of coming into my house after a long day at work and knowing that it is truly clean and that I don't have to go back and do anything additional. I'm constantly amazed at the small things they do that really make me feel like my house is truly clean. I have cats that manage to leave hair everywhere, and without exception it is always spotless when they are done. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Rachel called in advance to let me know what time she and her helper would be here--I appreciate that extra info. She did a super job cleaning everything. It really helps that we can keep Rachel as our crew leader because she know just how we like things and she knows where everything is, so she doesn't waste any time. Rachel is a super hard worker, diligent, professional and kind. We have three bathrooms, a large living/dining area, bedroom, office, kitchen, hallways, etc and all were cleaned to perfection.
