They repaired the blinds for the price they promised, in the time they promised and they work great.

I called Blindsmith for an estimate. They gave me one over the phone, but said the pick-up charge would be high for just two blinds (I live in Castle Rock). So, I asked for an estimate if I delivered the blinds to them. The price was very reasonable. I delivered them and they were ready three days later. They are all clean including the cords. I'm very please with their service.

A great experience from the initial call. The young woman who answered the phone was able to answer my questions re: cost of what I needed to have done as well as schedule the initial appointment. She told me how long they would need to clean 3 large cellular blinds and repair the cord on one of them so we could schedule the return trip. They were most pleasant and cooperative when I needed to change the arrival window for the return trip to reinstall the blinds. Bill arrived right on time for both visits, and I have to say, he is one of the nicest guys ever. I highly recommend them for the type of work I had done and I will definitely call Blindsmith when it's time to purchase window coverings for my new home

Dianne & Bill were great during this whole process and we will definitely be calling them the next time we need anything with our window coverings. We like buying and using local companies with the hope that you get better service, and that is most definitely the case with the BlindSmith. Dianne & Bill both showed up to consult with us on ideas to upgrade our window coverings. They spent over an hour with us discuss alternatives and then promptly got us an estimate. Since it was a large job and a lot of windows we had a lot of changes to the estimate, but they were very accommodating. They were especially helpful with how to solve a difficult window type we have with my desire for vertical blinds, which led to the shutter option for our master suite. We ordered the coverings and they communicated that they were going out of town and when they were returning. Bill came to install the blinds about two weeks after we ordered them and he did a great job. The shutters were not ready during his initial install visit, so he came back a week later with the shutters. Unfortunately, the manufacturer incorrectly made one of the smaller window's shutters, but Bill came back a few days later to finish off the shutters. He even came after business hours so we did not have to miss work. Everything looks great and are so glad with the decisions we made.

The blinds were initially installed on Feb 21st. Bill said that the left side of the blinds were sewn incorrectly and he put a rubberband to hold it up and said that he would be back. He also tried to charge me $100 more than the price we agreed on. I told him that I did not want the defective blinds and he said that he would order new ones and would be back in a few weeks (due to vacation) and would install the new blinds around the 22nd of March. I called him on the 22nd and he said that he did not order the new blinds after all and just needed a small clip to correct the problem. When I closed the blinds the night after the clip was installed I noticed that they still do not hang correctly on the repaired side. I like the Luminette sheers but am sorry that I chose this company to install them.

The work processes were as follows: I called and spoke to Diane regarding our damaged blinds and the services needed to repair our blinds the first week of January, 2012. Diane was very cordial and helpfull. She was knowledgable and was able to schedule an appointment in just over a weeks time. Bill was prompt in his arrival for the appointment and was friendly and courteous. He was quick and showed expertise in removing our large damaged blind set. Bill was carefull in the process and left me with a quoted repair date and exact repair price. The blinds were repaired and scheduled to be re-installed on 1/30/12. Bill was again prompt on his arrival and carefully installed the repaired blind set. He explained how they were able to move the new slats to the top as the blinds were slightly different in color due to sun discoloration. The new repaired blinds looked great and were as good as new. My wife and I are happy with the prompt and couteous service, and thought the repair price including the trip charges were competitive and reasonable. We will absolutely use Blindsmith, Inc in the future for any new sales or service in our home blind needs.

There is a wide array of options for window treatments and the the better sense of these options and what you want can make the process go smoother. Bill from Blindsmith though is quite willing to work with the novice in these areas.

Bill and his daughter came back and piced up all of the hunter douglass wood and silouette and duette blinds we had in the house. They repaired all of the blinds and cleaned and checked each window treatment and had them all back in place in 3 days. They were always on time for the appointments and were extremely professional and friendly. I would have given them straight A+ , if possible. It is a family run business with all of the work done by members of the immediate family. They made us feel like members of the family too ! The job was done even better than i thought possible and at a much lower price than i had anticiipated to fix and repair all of the blinds . I wish all of the people that we deal with were as pleasant, honest and reliable as the family that runs Blindsmiths. We will definite use them again, and they have our highest recommendation.

Bill Mills and his daughter came promptly as scheduled. They took down all of my blinds and transported them to his business where they were cleaned perfectly. As promised they came back at 5 pm and re-installed all of them. They worked quickly and efficiently. In addition they are wonderful people with a great sense of humor and love of animals. I used Blindsmith last year too and was equally satisfied with the work.

They were great. The price was great. My cousin gave me used blinds. They cut them to fit and cleaned them. They were courteous, prompt and very helpful.

They completed the work in a week, and the price seemed reasonable in this era when no one seems to render a service for under $100. Though they expressed surprise that their company profile on Angie's List offered a 10% senior discount, they honored it. Everyone was pleasant to deal with and offered suggestions for avoiding a similar problem with the rest of our shades.

The job started a little rocky, since I had been told that they would be able to return the blinds the same week, as they picked them up to repair them. It turned out that they were in the process of a move and were not able to get the blinds back to me for 2 1/2 weeks. The work was done well and the blinds were installed correctly.

Extremely prompt. He actually took the blinds back to his office and showed me how to put them back up when they were finished to save the trip charge for him coming back out.

Bill arrived on time, very professional and friendly. He brought out three different lengths of cord ''just in case''. I asked a few questions and wanted some recommendations and he was very helpful! He is getting us prices on a replacement blinds!

This company is very easy to deal with. Estimates are freely given and the work is done when promised. The shop is neat and tidy. They also have a mobile service.
