The latch bolt had seized up in the strike plate because the antique wooden door had swollen with all the rain and was wedged within the door frame so tightly that it was impossible to open. Rory knew right where to place the tip of a screwdriver to pop that old door right open! It was like magic! Heâ s my hero!
