It went very well. The job was completed in a couple of hours and cost less than the estimate because less insulation was needed.

From estimate to installation to clean up a very pleasant experience. I like that the owner, Phil, is the owner AND the installer. Good price and he did a great job. Highly recommend.

It went great. Phil did the work on budget and on schedule, and we believe we noticed a difference right away in how comfortable the house was, and our electric bill has decreased substantially. Many other possible contractors wanted to add lots of small items but could not really say to what extent they would change the heat/cold leakage. Phil proposed just simple additional insulation and it appears to have been quite successful.

The job went quite well. Though it took longer (6 hours) than I had anticipated, the price was exactly as had been proposed and when I looked at the completed job, it was obvious that the job/quality of the job was/is outstanding.

Oh my goodness! We are in the middle of many home improvements right now, but I've got to say that getting Phil from Arvada Insulation to blow in insulation and improve the existing insulation in our attic is, hands down, the improvement that has most positively affected our quality of life. Our upstairs has an addition that was built over our garage, and that whole area of the house used to be FREEZING (and very hot in the summer). Our electric bills were regularly $400 per month, and it was still freezing. Getting the proper insulation was absolutely the best $1000 we have ever spent on the house. We have not even turned on the heater on many days (and even nights) since it has been done. The whole house is finally comfortable! The difference in "before and after" comfort levels continue to amaze us every day. Thank you Phil!

It went extremely well. I left a message on Phil's phone, and he got back to me within a few hours. We came up with an estimate over the phone since we live on the other side of town from his business. I agreed to the estimate with the understanding that if I had not given the correct dimensions to our attic that the cost could change. We agreed on a date for installation. He and Rick arrived on time on the date we agreed to, and they blew in the insulation in about 4 hours, which was also his estimate. I had miscalculated the size of our attic slightly, so the cost should have been an additional $100 or so, but Phil decided to honor the original estimate which he didn't have to do. I felt Phil and Rick were very professional, pleasant, efficient, and friendly. I was very happy with our experience.

We have a 100 year old house with an attic room that needed insulation. I left Phil a message and he returned my call within the same day. Phil was able to stop by the next day and provide us with an estimate. We had several insulation providers to choose from. We chose Phil because he was most concerned about how to make our attic room comfortable year round. Other companies seemed more interested in just getting the job finished. Phil’s also gave us a great price along with excellent service. Phil took great care to ensure that the insulation was installed properly and he didn’t cut any corners. The insulation is already keeping the attic cool during the hot summer days. Lastly, Phil and his partner were very nice and trustworthy. He was very friendly and we left him alone at our house with no issues. I would recommend Phil to anyone.

Phil showed up on time and finished a little before his estimated completion time. Phil and his partner did a good job and did not leave any mess behind. I was happy with the job. Phil did not try and up sell me, but allowed me to choose how much insulation to add with his advise.

Phil was truly great to work with. He even fixed a couple of missing top headers in interior walls while he was in the attic, and he replaced the attic access panel, which was broken. The price would have been less, but I wanted extra insulation blown-in, so I paid extra for the additional materials. This is an honest guy, running an honest business and doing exactly what he he promises. Al of the work was done in an outstanding manner, on-time, and was even a little less than what he quoted me. I'll definitely call Arvada Insulation when I do my othe rentals and my own house.

Nothing but good things to say about Arvada Insulation and the work Phil completed at our home. We asked Phil to provide a quote for a couple of items listed in an Xcel audit done by another company. When the first firm did not show up as scheduled to complete the improvements, we contacted Arvada Insulation for a quote to complete the referenced work. Not only was Phil significantly lower in price, but he promptly responded to our initial inquiry, set up a site visit and provided a quote on-site, scheduled work for the following week and completed everything he quoted in a timely, professional manner. Extremely nice guy, personable and easy to work with, showed up on time, answered all my questions and explained what he proposed to do and why, as well as his estimate for the duration of each task. Quality of work and clean-up were both excellent. I highly recommend Phil as an honest and thorough professional who provides a quality product.

Phil was the zen master of insulation. Patient, thorough, great-attention to detail, patient, kind, fair-priced, trustworthy. He made sure my concerns were met for a formaldehyde-free product, too. I have already told friends about him. He took his time and made sure the job was done right. I highly recommend him.

Responded promptly to request for quote, scheduled within a reasonable time when we said "go" and showed up promptly when scheduled. Efficient, steady work when on job, clean-up excellent and couldn't have gone better. Affable, excellent pricing when compared to 4 other contractors. In short, couldn't have been more pleased.

Low key one-man operation did quality work. Work was workmanlike and through. Cleaned up work site. Pleasant to work with.

Very responsive from start to finish!

We have a new, well insulated house, but the garage was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. It was wall-boarded, but not insulated. I got three bids; all pretty similar, except the other two companies wanted to insulate the walls and the garage door as well as the attic. But Phil suggested that we just insulate the attic and see if that would be sufficient. I was impressed with him and his honesty, so we contracted with him to do the work. He and an assistant performed the work quickly and did a great job of cleaning up. Our garage is better, but I will probably have him insulate the walls this year. He said that the garage door was already insulated.

Great local company would recommend to others. We had installation added to our attic in a town home built in early 80's Can already tell a big difference in the heat no running all the time. Phil gave a very reasonable quote & was very helpful A wonderful small local business

The actual amount charged was less than the estimate because of the shallow roofline. Prompt, courteous, and excellent at getting the job done.

At first it was uneventful. But towards the end I noticed there was a lot more dust in my house than normal. I looked in my bedroom and the insulation was coming in the cold air return vent. I told Phil and he came in right away and stopped the machine and checked all the other vents and sure enough all the cold air returns were clogged, thus all the dust in my house! He cleaned them out as best he could but found out that the problem is in an older home they sometimes do not put a board above the cold air return vents! So he put insulation batting in there and paid for the air ducts to be cleaned. He admitted this has never happened before and that he has done older home before, actually most of the time he works with older homes, but now he is going to check the cold air returns before blowing in insulation!

I was very pleased with the prompt service and professionalism shown by the owner, Phil. He responded to the inquiry by inspecting the attic and giving a very competitive bid. He returned when he said he would and finished the job. They cleaned up after themselves. I am a Realtor, and have recommended Phil to several homeowners based on his Angie's List reviews. All have been delighted with his work and his price. I was happy to use him in my own home as well.

Arvada Insulation is terrific. They insulated approximately 680 sf of attic space from R10 up to R50. When Phil(?) first arrived to do an estimate, he recommended that I have an electrical issue taken care of first, which was appreciated. He also helped me with my paperwork for getting a rebate from Xcel. Their price was very reasonable. This company was very punctual, diligent, and professional. I can already tell a big difference in temperature on my top floor after the insulation. I give Arvada Insulation my highest recommendation. Unfortunately, I don't have any more attics for them to insulate.

Phil (owner, operator, commander in chief) responded to my inquiry immediately, arrived to quote promptly and exactly when he said he would, made thorough assessment of situation and provide quote with option of 3 levels of insulation R-value/thickness.I felt so comfortable with Phil's quote that I scheduled the work right then and there without dragging out the process with one or two more estimates.Phil worked with my available time frame and arrived ready to work- again, exactly when he said he would, performing the job quickly and neatly. The job went a little quicker than expected for him so he discounted the final bill reflecting that. He also provided and explained the documentation to send in for my energy rebate.I could not have wished for a better experience.

After seeing reviews for Arvada Insulation on Angies List, we contacted them to get an estimate. Phil gave us an estimate over the phone based on the square footage of our attic and our existing insulation. He gave us two different estimates, depending on how much insulation we needed to get the refund from X-CEL Energy. Although he gave us 2 estimates, he stated on the phone that he believed the lower estimate would be good enough to get the refund. When scheduling a day to do the work, we kept playing phone tag. Phil was very good at returning calls and following up. He was on time the day the work was to be done. It took a bit longer then he thought, but after seeing the attic and the existing insulation, we ended up not needing as much as estimated. Phil let us know. As a result, the price was lower than expected. On a side note, we received our refund very quickly after mailing it in. Although, we paid $870, we ended up only spending about $700 with the refund.

They were very good. We spent less than $1000 on that service and we thought that the pricing was very reasonable. They were very clean and mainly given that they were blowing enormous amounts of cellulose in our house and it was amazing how clean everything was.

Team arrived on time. They were careful with the house, cleaned up well, were friendly , professional and the price was very competitive.
