Description of Work: Doug inspected my basement drywall, ruled out a mold issue and checked the drywall for moisture. He then took time to educate me about how to prevent moisture coming in by sloping the surrounding ground, using a plastic cover, gutter extensions, etc.

Description of Work: Due to some health issues caused by mold we had mold testing done (with petri dishes) inside our home and discovered elevated levels of mold spores. I called Doug to help us determine where the mold problem was in our home as there appeared to be nothing obvious outside of some minor mold growing around our bathtub tiles. Doug was very professional, knowledgeable and took the time to answer the many questions we had about mold and what we should be concerned about. He did a very thorough inspection of our house and told us preventative measures we could take and also what his team could do for us. He inspected the crawlspace under our house, our hardwood flooring (underneath and above), bathroom and bedroom walls. We were very reassured after meeting with Doug and definitely trust his opinion. If we decide to do some preventative work in the crawlspace we will definitely call him back to do the job.

Description of Work: This house had a leak behind the walls in the bathroom for a very long time and we didn't know it. When the bathroom floor got soft under the tiles we removed the tiles and found a lot of damage to the support beams and a lot of black mold. We did not know how far behind the walls the damage and mold reach, so we removed the applaiances, toilet, and much of the wall. Doug removed the bathtub and remaining walls in the affected area and removed the mold.

Description of Work: I used All Clean Restoration Services. He came and gave me an estimate, a couple of days later I got an incredible thorough estimate, and an explanation. When he was here for the estimate, he crawled down under my subfloor and inspected the whole basement underneath it, and gave me a very comprehensive report.

Description of Work: We had a rotted cast iron waste pipe under our home's concrete foundation which spilled water up into the floor and walls of the basement. All Clean's team removed carpet, drywall, wood paneling and carpet pad. They cleaned everything, replaced the drywall, sealed the concrete after it had dried, replaced the paneling then painted the wall. They also moved the furniture back to its original places.

Description of Work: I used the services of All Clean Restoration 1 month ago. Basically, they came in and pulled out all our kitchen cabinets and then they had to do the dry cut. It is basically taking the drywall and cutting it off at a certain point and removing it. Then they did a scrubbing and also painting and ceiling of the areas that were affected by mold that we had.

Description of Work: Doug Novotny, owner of All Clean Restoration Services, came to inspect mold damage in our basement in two places, caused by a leaking toilet in one location and a crack in the foundation of an outside wall in the second location. He carefully inspected each area inside and out, then made recommendations for how to resolve the problems. He was willing to do the work but ended up showing me how we can do it ourselves, and left without charging any fee at all.

Description of Work: Doug made an appointment promptly to check for any mold in my basement. The good news is he did not find any mold problem. BUT he did spend considerable time suggesting how to minimize moisture in the concrete walls (not expensive solutions, none requiring his company do the work) I found him very professional and thorough and would absolutely recommend him! No charge for a very comprehensive assessment.

Description of Work: Project: Mold Remediation in a basement. Estimate: Doug N. came out to my house, inspected the room, remainder of basement, and exterior of my home. The estimate only included the room I requested work to be performed. It was detailed and included a break of the cost (travel, workers rate + hours, matls, equipment, etc). In a room approximately 20'x12' they (2-workers) removed the drywall up to 3' in height, baseboards, wainscoating (?), chair-rail, glued to floor industrial carpeting. Sprayed the areas where drywall was removed with a mold inhibitor (looks like white spray paint), and fogged the room once they were done.

Description of Work: My basement flooded following a severe thunderstorm which caused water and hail to collect in a window well, which then flooded 2 rooms in my basement. As a single woman, I was nervous that someone might try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge and overcharge me or try to sell me things I didn't need. After consulting Angie's List, I called All Clean because of their positive rating. The owner, Doug, returned my call almost immediately and had a 2-man crew on site within a very short time. The guys were hard-working and very professional, and quickly (and carefully) removed all my furniture and belongings from the flooded rooms. They then got rid of the water, lifted the carpet and placed heavy-duty fans in the affected areas to dry things out. They also tested the drywall and removed that which had become wet (roughly 18" around most of the room). Doug came by the next day to check out the work they'd done and provide suggestions as to how to proceed. He crawled into the area below the sub-floor to inspect for mold and water, and I was pleasantly surprised when he told me that I didn't have any mold ... he could just as easily have told me I did, and I wouldn't have known otherwise (I wasn't about to crawl down there myself!). He did strongly advise a sump pump, and mentioned that a vapor barrier might also be a good idea (but wasn't urgently needed). Doug was extremely courteous and professional, and his knowledge and experience were quite evident. He even had a couple of general suggestions in other areas - areas outside of All Clean's services, but in which he had knowledge regardless. In other words, he had nothing to gain by making those suggestions, as he didn't even suggest I call any specific contractors for that work. That was above and beyond the call of duty and really helped my comfort level in knowing I'd chosen the right company and could trust his recommendations.
