These guys were top-notch. They gave us a fantastic price (yes, we shopped around) and were knowledgable, punctual, respectful, and clean. The garage door works like a dream. We have a converted carport so nothing about the hardware or install was standard, but Precision really knows what they are doing. Interestingly, while we were waiting for this garage door to be manufactured for our vacation property in Palm Desert, we coincidentally needed some work done on our primary home's garage door. Our regular technician in L.A. gave me an earful about how Precision is a franchise outfit, and has a reputation for skimping on quality and overcharging, etc. The Yucca Valley/Coachella Valley branch was, however, recommended by my Palm Springs contractor who uses them all the time for high-end properties, and I have no complaints. So don't let the reputation of other Precision offices deter you, these folks are an excellent choice!

Once dispatch finally got in touch with the technician. He cam out when he said and completed the job. Still missing the part for the wind to keep the doors from moving.

They did a great job!

Replaced defective garage door motor.

They did everything correctly. They opened and closed the door and immediately found why the door wasn't working properly. They made the adjustments, checked the complete door and motor. All was done professionally and to my satisfaction.

I was very aggravated with them because they installed a label that says they've provided for me for our emergency service and I tried calling them once when the door got stuck open and I got somebody in Florida that and they said they couldn't help me, so I was very aggravated by that. The price was not cheap. The experience was good but the service was terrible. I will not use them again because they said they'll give emergency services but obviously they haven't.

When I saw that my garage door would not open, I called Preferred Garage Doors. They said irt would be at least two days before they could come out. I called Precision Garage Doors, who guaranteed that they would send a technician out at 4PM that day. The tech actually arrived twenty minutes early. He carefully assessed the situation, explained the problem, and fixed it. I would definitely recommend this company!

No problems. Fixed a contact problem on the garage door opener in our new house. Quick in and out.

I would recommend him to anyone and he did a excellent job. They were efficient and did it in a timely manner- he was done in about an hour and a half. He set up the key pad for free, which I appreciated.

They did a fine job installing it. They are responsive, clean and efficient and didn't seem to take too long. They did what they have to do. I would use them again.

I am really happy with his service. He came all the way from Napa Valley, which is an hour and a half drive one way and he didn’t charge me any extra fee for that.

He fixed what I asked him to fix but I ended up fixing it myself because it wasn't fixed properly. He was pushing me to buy a new garage door saying that the one I had was obsolete, and I didn't appreciate that. There was nothing wrong with the garage door that I have. It needed servicing but didn't need replaced.

Great experience. Found them on Angie's List. Called at 8:00 a.m. and Dean arrived early afternoon. He immediately diagnosed the problems I was having with a Genie opener. He made some adjustments, and lubed the door and screw drive with no additional charge. I would definitely use Precision again.

They did an excellent job. I was extremely pleased with them and would have never found them without Angie's List. I would highly recommend them to anyone. He took only a short time to do the service. He was also neat and clean. He was an expert at what he did.

I've had a couple of jobs done by them and I was very pleased with them. The quality of the work was good and the price was good. They were very punctual and professional. The workmanship was excellent and they responded very quickly.

I called and left a message. Frank called back within an hour. He made an appointment for the next day. Frank showed up (Saturday morning), diagnosed, repaired and serviced the garage door for a very reasonable price.
