It was very good.

Jeff Hunter called me back within a few minutes of my leaving him a message. He showed up a few minutes early. He gave me an estimate of the work I needed done, and indicated that it could be 2 weeks until the new doors were ready. He had the new doors made in 1 week. He called when they were ready, and showed up exactly on time to install them. They are wonderful. He has a screen material that blocks most of the heat. It comes in 3 different colors. He took the old doors away so I would not have to deal with them. He also took care of making sure the glass doors slid properly, too. He did a beautiful job of replacing the screen on the window.

The original gas line was installed by a landscape contractor when we moved in to our new home. We have since learned the landscaper was not licensed and did not have any inspections done. The gas line was not buried 18" deep nor was it the green pipe as required. Instead it was unwrapped galvanized pipe that was laid directly under the concrete patio. The soil in our backyard is very acidic. After 5 years, the pipe began leaking under the patio. We called the gas company. They identified the exact spot of the leak, shut off the gas line and locked it so it would not be turned on until the line was replaced. Replacing the line involved digging a new trench around the patio, avoiding sprinkler lines and wiring for lighting to get to the fire pit, 20 ft. from the gas outlet. It also involved tunneling under the patio for 2 ft to get to the base of the fire pit. Jeff did a fantastic job digging the trench and getting all the proper connections secured, the proper pressure for the gas line to the fire pit and putting the rock and silica sand back in place so the flames would dance across the top of the fire pit again. Part of the fire pit also had to be re stuccoed and Jeff took care of that as well. Jeff took great care to put everything back in place and the patio looks as if nothing was ever done and the fire pit works beautifully.
