Description of Work: The provider contacted me initially, but when I called back and also emailed to actually make the appointment, I got no response.

Description of Work: Painted two rooms. There were some scheduling difficulties, but the actual paint job looks great, and I appreciate his advice on what paint to get that would last longer.

Description of Work: I purchased a package of 4 hours of handyman services. Rick and his assistant arrived on time and ready to work. I provided an overview of the multiple small projects that I wanted done, including plumbing repairs, electrical switch installation, hanging towel bars in the bathrooms, etc., and they divided up the tasks and got to work. I was impressed by the breadth of Rick's knowledge and his professionalism. His team worked quickly and got a lot done in the time available. I was very happy with whole experience and have contracted with Rick for another project at my home. I recommend his services without reservation.

Description of Work: We asked RJK Painting to finish a project another company had started for us. Rick emailed me, and we set up the dates for the work--6/10-6/13/14. Rick and his helpers were very prompt, and professional with the work they did for us. They put on a slated roof for our patio, and stained the wood for the whole patio. They also did a few other small painting jobs for us. Each day after working, they cleaned everything up, and often worked more than 8 hours in the heat in order to finish by mid-day June 13th. We plan to hire them again when we are able.

Description of Work: When I first contacted Rick on the phone, he was very professional and we scheduled a time for him to work the 3 hr.s for $89. I needed to get the area prepared for him, which took quite some time. about ten min.s after he was supposed to arrive, he called to say he couldn't make it, so we rescheduled. Again, about 30 min.s after he was to arrive, he called to say he couldn't make it. So, we rescheduled...and he called again. |He finally worked 5 hours, and we scheduled a time for him to come back to |finish the project. This time he didn't show up and didn't call, until several days later. Needless to say, I would NOT hire him again.

Description of Work: Rick Branson painted my living room, kitchen, 2 hallways, 8 doors and casing and exterior front door.

Description of Work: Completed a list of ten items including replacing a lock, cleaning out dry rot from two doors, repainting doors, replacing weather stripping and door splash on two doors, patched holes and cracks in wall corners, replaced plumbing fixtures, and fixed a faucet.

Description of Work: Rick showed up on time and was very professional. He examined the plumbing problem with my three toilets and he very efficiently rebuilt the toilet tanks. Great service.

Description of Work: All the tasks were performed in a home that was previously used as a model. Primed/painted four bedrooms including closets, spackle applied as needed. Also removed drapery rods and shades. Primed/painted accent wall in master bedroom. Touched up caulking as needed around tub, shower and double vanity sink in master bath and upstairs bath. Entire house, all pictures/mirrors/decorative hanging items, were removed, spackled where needed and paint touched up. Removed fixed window grill in downstairs hallway and repainted sill. Removed fixed window gill, drapery rods and shades in downstairs bedroom and repainted window sills. Downstairs bath was caulked, wallpapered, replace light over sink, hung mirror, train rack towel holder and toilet paper holder. Also replaced GFCI cover plate and 3 gang plate. Front door, side door and shutters on house were sanded/scraped and repainted. Removed and replaced old deadbolts/knobs/handles on Front and side doors. Stucco around door frames/garage door and pillars were patched and painted. Removed lower cabinet door in laundry room to router an opening for a cat to use the cabinet as an enclosed litter box. Demolish/spackled/touched up paint the upper section on a built in TV cabinet. Replaced knobs and matched stain on bottom. Two new ceiling fans were installed. Replaced junction box. Removed plantation shutter from kitchen window. Scraped and removed caulking, spackled and repainted window. With Subcontractor removed garbage disposal unit and water filtrations devices under sink. Removed incinerator housing on SS kitchen sink. Re-install flanging and housing for new garbage unit. Install 2 water valves under sink with shut offs. Subcontractor vacuumed and cleaned exterior electrical panel. Checked all connections and fitting for tightness and security. Installed blank breaker covers.

Description of Work: RJK (Rick Branson) painted the entire interior of our new home, installed fans, installed new faucets, replaced toilets, lighting, abated a black mold problem, and more.

Description of Work: I have to make a comment about Rick BEFORE he even starts our project. His quick response to our call and long night (up til 2 am) getting us an over night bid was amazing. We just spent over $10,000 on prep/paint and handyman jobs getting a house ready to be a rental and most of that job is having to be now having to be redone. So it was with fear and trepidation that I went searching again for someone to restore my trust. And I found Rick here on Angie's List (which is where I SHOULD have been looking before) In just speaking with him two times, I feel like I can move ahead with confidence to try again. He has promised all receipts for materials (which I did not receive before) and real honesty about his hourly rate. With his expertise and years of experience I can trust he knows what quality looks like. I trust the job will be done correctly the FIRST time ! And I believe he is an honor to his profession that is being dishonored by people who are doing jobs they are NOT qualified to do and yet charge more than necessary to have the job done in a quality manner. So I can hardly wait to review him again when the job is complete !!!

Description of Work: Paint entire interior of home. Extremely professional and of high integrity. Repairs- misc. fans, light fixtures, etc I am so thankful to now have someone I can trust to perform repairs, flooring, etc! Very impressed!
