Dale was quick to respond. Found leak, repaired and we talked about some further work to be done. Just installed new backyard turf and will need additional drip lines. Just finishing front yard and will also need additional work there. I will be calling Dale in the next few days to schedule additional work.

Couldn't be happier!! I am going to have him come out next month and install a simple sprinkler line for the bank in the rear of my tenant's home. I have no doubt he will do a wonderful job.

The review of the system and the repairs made went very well. It was determined that a new sprinkler head needed to be installed to provide proper irrigation coverage. And two weeks later everything is operating as expected !!!

Dale and his assistant were great. Came the same day I called, immediately diagnosed the problem, and completed the repairs within two hours. Per my request he also replaced the irrigation system timer control. When they left everything was in perfect working condition. I would not hesitate to hire again.

Service technician correctly diagnosed leaks that had been incorrectly diagnosed by a leak detection company. He then replaced the leaking valves and checked other valves for correct operation. Both leaks were shown to me prior to repair and afterwards. Other valves were checked and also shown to me as working correctly. He was the most knowledgable and straightforward irrigation guy that I have ever used. I have total confidence and trust in him and his work.

Had a broken sprinkler valve that was spraying water everywhere - called Dale and he came by the same day, replaced it about 15 minutes, showed me where the shut-off valve was for the sprinkler system which I didn't know we had and was buried under grass and roots. He provides a better service at a better price than others - will use him in future for any sprinkler needs and given their propensity to break I am sure that won't be too long!

Dale was early and got the job done quickly and did a beautiful job!!

It was very good. The price was about 50% cheaper than another company I had called, and that's sizable.

Smooth and great communication. I called Dale around 2:45 pm and Dale was at my house at 4:30 pm. It was an emergency for me because my sprinkler valve was leaking and the particular sprinklers assigned to that valve continued to run. This had been going on for awhile and I was not able to stop the sprinklers from running unless I turned off the water to the house. Dale showed up, assessed the problem, and fixed it.

Dale was able to assess our irrigation system quickly and suggest ways to improve coverage as well as cut back on usage. He was prompt on arrival time and brought Renaldo with him to assist. The job took 4.5 hours to complete. My reason for a "B" rating on price is because there was an additional charge I was not aware of for bringing Renaldo and the cost of parts, which was unknown at the time. No estimate had been requested or given prior to the work, so that is really my fault. Overall, I was happy with the work.

Dale did a great job and got everything working right again. We have a fairly big front and back yard. There are seven stations. The entire system was really old and worn out. He was fast and efficient with his assistant helping as they changed out heads, timers, valves etc.-- he really knows his stuff. Made the right upgrades with water saving changes and the beds and lawns are already looking healthy again. Very reasonable. Definitely use him again.

Dale was a pleasure to work with as he was easy to get a hold of, available in a timely manner to do the work, prompt in arriving, and took his time in doing the work.

I called North County Sprinkler Man to solve several problems. Our sprinkler system was spraying water onto the picket fence which was causing damage to the wood. The walls of the house were being sprayed in two places which was causing damage to the paint. The sprinklers were wasting water due to overspray that was landing on the driveway and sidewalk. Dale was very helpful and explained how he would proceed and answered my questions. He changed the location of the sprinkler heads that were causing the damage to the fence and and house. In the places that required digging , he did that with intentionality and carefully replaced the sections of lawn so it looks as it did before the work was done. He inspected the direction of all the sprinkler heads and tweaked them to stop water waste by preventing overspray on the driveway and sidewalks and also installed several efficient sprinkler heads. He removed an old non-operational vertical pvc pipe that had been an eyesore. When I said that eventually we plan to replace the lawn with drought tolerate plants, Dale told me that we would be able to keep our existing sprinkler system because he could convert it into a drip system. We feel lucky to have found someone who is an expert , works hard , has great prices, and is a really nice person.

Dale was a pleasure to work with. He was easy to get a hold of and gave me a very fair price of $380 for the work. I hired on the spot and Dale showed up a few days later, 15 minutes early. He did an awesome job. Can't beat the price either. Found my new irrigation guy for sure!

Dale came at the appointed time and proceeded to systematically inspect every sprinkler head, adjusting those that needed it. Discovered major leaks due to broken sprinkler heads and a broken line. Replaced broken heads and repaired broken line. Dale had to dig out a large tree root in order to repair the broken line. He also determined that one zone was "under-loaded" (my word) such that there was too much water pressure to that zone, causing the sprinkler heads to blow out. He fixed the problem by rewiring two zones to better balance the system. All in all, he was here working for 2 1/2 hours. His work was first-rate and his charges were very reasonable. I would recommend Dale to anyone who has sprinkler problems or, like me, just suspected it wasn't running properly. Apparently I was unknowingly wasting a lot of water -- I'm very pleased that these problems have been fixed.

The job went quickly and we are very pleased.

Dale is an honest and good guy. Unfortunately I didn't get to use him because I found out my landscape designer had her own crew, however I'd use dale again in a heart beat. He is prompt, quick, and knows his stuff.

Sprinkler system leaking on the weekend. Dale was great! I called him and in 20 mins he was here saving the day. If I could give A ++++ rating on Angie's list I would. Do not look any further, Dale is our goto guy from now on!

Dale was at our house within an hour of my call. He repaired the sprinkler head that was leaking and identified and repaired another head that was broken. He did a great job and we thought the $70 he charged us was a great value. We would definitely hire him again and recommend his services without reservation.

Called Dale and waited for about a week for him to get back to me. When he did return the call, he explained that he had been extremely busy and apologized for the delay. He came out to our house with a helper and did a sprinkler tune up for our entire landscape, which is substantial. He charged me $325 for that work, which I thought was reasonable, but maybe slightly on the high side, given the time involved. He also replaced a valve or two. He charged $45 per valve. At that first meeting, we discussed installing a drip system for our front yard. He quoted me a price and showed me what he proposed to do. I agreed to a price of $1,300 and he and his helper showed up on time on the appointed day at about 6:45 in the morning, and worked straight through to about 3:45 PM in the blistering heat. The materials used appear to be of reasonable quality, and Dale showed me how to adjust the nozzles and add more feeder lines if we need to. After the job was finished, he emphasized that if anything went wrong to call him and he would stand by his work. He gave me a very high confidence level that he meant it! He also threw in a free valve replacement for us, but ran out of flex tube to complete a small portion of the job so, I figure it was a wash. He also repaired a broken irrigation line at no additional cost to us. I called him yesterday to ask him to replace another valve or two that he didn't get to the first time around. I did not have a contract with Dale. Everything was done on a handshake, which was OK by me. It all worked out well, but for some people, I might recommend getting a formal written estimate and contract from him, especially for a larger job. Overall, in spite of the minor glitches, I would say my experience with Dale was more than satisfactory. I wouldn't hesitate to refer him.
