Description of Work: Repair leaking sprinkler valve

Description of Work: Called to repair drip sprinkler system. Stated he had little or no experience with drip systems and wanted to completely remove drip and replace with conventional spray system and time and materials cost. Not professional or competent to perform irrigation repair. Said he uses day labor off street to perform work, and he just supervises.

Description of Work: I had multiple sprinkler issues from a broken syphon valve to several hillside sprinklers that weren't reaching all of the areas. I called Dale (The Sprinkler Man) and he happened to be in my area and offered to come by right away...assess the problems and arrange an appointment to do the repairs. He ended up fixing everything during his first visit and it was such a relief to finally have everything repaired so I could give up my chore of trying to hand water everything. Dale was very knowledgeable and efficient. I wouldn't definitely call on him again for help.

Description of Work: He repaired two broken sprinkers that were encased in bamboo. It was hard physical labor. Dale did some work for me about a year ago replacing sprinklers in my front yard and I was very happy with his work. He is a delightful, hand working individual. Always on time and his fees are low. My neighbor and I both call him when needed. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: Asked for a solution to my sprinkler problems. He gave me a solution, not very exciting, but said he'd be back on Sunday morning to fix. He never showed up, never called. I waited and waited. He called after his week long vacation. He charged me for coming out to see what i had, and he adjusted a few sprinklers, all which took him about 20 minutes and charged me either $125 or $145... i can't remember.

Description of Work: We called Dale to fix our sprinkler system -- he returned our message within hours and came out the next day at the time he promised -- changed the broken heads and the inappropriate ones -- cleaned the mud out of the pipes -- adjusted the sprays -- adjusted the settings on the timer -- checked for leaks -- generally tuned up the whole system -- and then charged us $55 -- which was his minimum house call charge -- didn't even charge extra for the parts he replaced -- plus he is a great guy and a pleasure to deal with -- highly recommended.

Description of Work: Many of the irrigation folks quote hourly rates of $200 or more. He was much more reasonable and worked hard and solved most of my problems. I really appreciate his professionalism. He tun ed up and replaced several things in my 50 yr old irrigation system . These will easily pay for itself this year alone in savings in water.
