Description of Work: Date is approximate as is the cost for the service. I've used their services several times to either repair or upgrade my home office system. I was new to the area when I moved here in August, 2008, and was in the midst of a major project with a client on the East Coast. I experienced some major connectivity issues early in the morning and called, thinking I would leave a message. Instead, the owner, Mr. Trujillo, answered the phone. He had not yet opened for business that day but, understanding the nature of the problem, drove over immediately and resolved it within about half an hour. While a number of computer repair providers say they are both Mac and PC qualified, Computer Works is the first that I've encountered that is highly qualified in both operating systems. They have provided in-home as well as on-site services. I've also taken advantage of several of their software training classes. In all cases, the service and training experiences with Mr. Trujillo and his staff have been professional and highly satisfactory. I highly recommend YC Computer Works.

Description of Work: Gene, the owner, came to my home office. He installed additional memory, did some tune-up work and provided some additional training. He also upgraded the memory in the external hard drive, added a new HD case that corrected a voltage problem, and performed some diagnostics on a wireless problem. Gene's company provides both Mac and PC repair and service support. I've used both Apple and Windows systems for more than twenty years in business and for home use. I rarely have a Mac issue. However, when I first moved here, there were some serious connectivity issues and some other problems when I set up my home office. Since I work with clients throughout the country, it was essential that I have the office up and running as soon as possible. I didn't know anyone here but had seen Gene's business downtown. When I called on a Monday morning, he responded immediately. Before he opened his own business that morning, he came to my home office, analyzed the problem, and had me back in business within a little over an hour. I have also used the training for specialized applications and Gunner, the instructor, was excellent. These people go the extra mile.
