Description of Work: Installed solar. They were very attentive in the beginning, promising a $300 gift card if we signed up in December, which we did. Here it is almost April and still no gift card. We've called numerous times, different people say different things. Last phone call they said it was "being processed". We signed up for a lease as the purchase price, even with the tax incentive, would have cost us more per month than what we are paying PG&E. Still not quite sure how the billing will work, only know from a phone call from the lease company that our payments will start in May with a double billing the first month. They were, however, prompt in the installation and we were happy with that. We were going to refer our kids to Westhaven, but decided against it as we were not happy with this experience.

+ -1 moreIt's not what I'm looking. It wouldn't be cost-effective for me. We talked about it a little while and I explained to him what I was looking to do and he was like, "Okay, fantastic. Let me go back to the office and I'll put some numbers back together and I'll crunch somethings and I'll get back to you and let you know." That was Wednesday of last week and I still haven't heard back from him. If somebody is trying to sell you something, normally they get back in touch with you. Now, not to say that maybe they don't have an emergency in the family or anything else. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt for a little while. But it'll be interesting to see if they ever actually do get back in touch with me or if they just kind of went, "Well, we can't get enough money out of him. So we'll just move on to the next one." I would recommend them to just follow-up in a timely manner. They came out with all the right information. From the day I went in, they were pretty quick about emailing me and saying, "Hey, just provide us this information and we'll get out to you" and then they came out right when I wanted to, but I'm still waiting for them. So initially response was good, but then it wasn't. When he did have the appointment he did come on time.
Description of Work: I contacted Westhaven Solar and I stopped in their showroom one day. They brought the estimator out to the house and he brought out as any salesman would, his top-of-line bells and whistles, "This will cost you $30,000."
