 + -1 morewhat a nightmare. i would never rent from these people ever in life. constant issues with unit and owner /landlord . jodie meinking makes everything much worse on top of the major issues i have been having with select property management since i moved in 2018..Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. jodie meinking likes to talk down to residents , she use her role in office as position of power when its unnecessary and unwanted. jodie meinking provided false information, about my maintenance issues and overall residency issues. i dont think she deserves to work in a office she is better off at the zoo, thats how she talks to residents like we are animal's and the owner has us living like animal's. mind you my heat has been off over two weeks , theres a chicken coop on my roof, constant rodents . ive had a whole in my kitchen wall behind my oven since ive movee in .and everytime i call to complain they make it seem like im wrong.

 + -1 moreDealing with Select Property ended up being a nightmare. I did agree that they could authorize and charge me for "minor" repairs that cost up to $200, but I didn't expect Select to hire a contractor to do jobs that could be taken care of by a handyman. I also didn't expect Select to go from recommending that I give notice to my tenants because they were taking such poor care of my condo that a bug issue had developed to not only dropping getting the tenants out but also not raising their rent until I insisted that Select do so. When the tenants finally did leave because I decided to sell the condo, Select never informed me that the tenants were leaving early. I was fine with them going as soon as possible, but some sort of notification so that I could pay my homeowners' dues on time after no rent came in would have been nice. Select also tried to charge me rather than the tenants' deposit to pay for an exterminator--until I said that I would be consulting a lawyer. This company is unprofessional and ineffective and definitely not worth over $90 a month. Hire someone else to manage your property!
Description of Work: I hired this company to rent out and manage a condominium I own. They were supposed to find and screen tenants and deal with collecting rent and maintenance issues.
