YORBA LINDA APPLIANCE

Everything was great, as usual. We have been using Yorba Linda Appliance for decades. They have always done a great job and they are a local small business.

The wife called and as, he was working in the neighborhood the next day, they set an approximate time in the morning. He called at the beginning of the period and said he would be there soon. He arrived in a timely manner and quickly found the problem. He replaced the coils, left us the old parts and demonstrated that all was working. He was very professional and an expert repairman, and we will use him again for all our major appliances.

Don came out to look at our washer, he was an excellent resource, pointing us in the right direction and giving us great advice.

Don returned calls promptly and arrived on time. Very nice man. Was happy to answer all my questions and made suggestions.

My Whirlpool front-loader washing machine was leaking water.I called Don on a Monday(before hours) and left a message.He called me back quickly and was willing to come out that same day.I set an appointment for my day off and he came to my house then.He found where the leak was but didn't have the part on his truck as it was an unusual item to have leaking.He was willing to come the next day to fix it,but I again made an appointment for my next day off.Before he left he jury-rigged a fix so we could use the washer without leaking. When Don returned,he quickly replaced the part and I was good to go.While he might seem brusk on the phone,He is very pleasant to deal with in person.

Don arrived within the stated time. This is greatly appreciated especially after a holiday weekend. He took very little time to analyze the problem and solution. Got right down to business and made the repair quickly and efficiently. Would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Don diagnosed problem pretty much over the phone and told me how much it would be. He said I was out of the area he normally works in but he found time and drove out of his way to take care of us promptly. Good guy, straight shooter, works efficiently and cleans up afterward

Don has always been prompt and reliable. When he accidentally missed an appointment and I called he immediately responded and apologized arranging to come over the next day. He has always been reliable and the charges are reasonable.

I am very satisfied with the work performed. The problem was quickly diagnosed and the technician actually had a new icemaker with him. The cost for parts and labor was very reasonable. I would use this provider again.

I called Sunday afternoon and left a message requesting service. The recorded message indicated I would receive a return call Monday between 8am and 9am. Don returned my call by 8:15am Monday morning. I was able to get service the same day. Don arrived on time. Within minutes he identified the problem. He said that I needed a new motor and that he did have one on his truck. The price was $401.00 with the $65.00 service call fee applied to the purchase. I chose to get the motor fixed as I really like my diswasher. I had shopped for a new one over the weekend and they just don't have a dishwasher with all of the features that mine has. So far I am very happy with my decision! I would definitely use this company again. Note FYI: Don indicated that he works solely on American made appliances (no Bosch or Miele...) and he does not take credit cards. ,

We called repairman at 7:50 am., and he was on our doorstep before 9 a.m. the same morning. Courtious, clean, and professional. Repair was completed in less than an hour. He took his time and checked out our entire double oven set-up. Also checked out our newer washer as we complained about having to wait for another repairman. It is under warranety but he found the problem and ended that issue, too! We will keep his ph. number and gladly will give him referrals.and quot;

Had to play phone tag a bit because of my work hours, but when we finally were able to schedule an appointment, he was prompt and definitely knew what he was doing.

They were very nice and knowledgeable. Also, they were honest with me by letting me know that the cost of repairing my refrigerator wasn't worth it. I've since purchased a new one from a different company because Yorba Linda Appliances doesn't sell appliances.

The experience was great. I talked to Don over the phone and explained the problem before he came out to check the oven. He didn't have the part in stock for what he thought was the problem. He was able to get the part a lot quicker than another repair company that I called. After he received the part, he came to the house and fixed the oven. He showed me what was wrong and explained how to possibly prevent problem from recurring.

Don came the afternoon I called and found the trouble quickly. Very staisfied.

It was taking my 5 yr old Kenmore HE4 dryer longer and longer to dry a load. When it took four hours to dry my last load of towels I finally admitted there was a problem. I did all the troubleshooting I was capable of (checking to see that air was coming out of the vent, cleaning lint traps etc.) to no avail and knew I needed a pro. Found Don at YL Appliance on Angie's list. Got his voice mail which assured he would call Monday morning at 8AM. He did! He set an appointment time for that same Monday between 12 and 3 PM. He arrived at 12:25 PM was courteous, professional and most knowledgeable. He explained exactly what he was doing and why and still managed to complete the job in less than 30 minutes. My dryer is now working like it was new again, and me and my towels couldn't be happier! His price was fair and reasonable and I will definitely use this service again. I will also recommend Don to my friends!

I noticed my refrigerator was not cooling for a couple of days but the freezer appeared to still be working. Then I noticed that the ice cream in the freezer was softening up. Of course by this time it's the weekend and no one is open for business. I called Yorba Linda Appliance and left my name, number, and the reason for my call. On the company's message I liked that it included a day and time that I would be called back. Monday morning right between 9-10am I received a call from Yorba Linda Appliance and Don was able to fit me in the same day. He arrived at my home when he said he would and within 2 hours my refrigerator/freezer was working. All it needed was a part replaced. He also told me how to prevent the problem from happening again. I had blocked the vents at the back preventing circulation and condensation had built up over the electronics that cools the appliance. Don was very professional, friendly and curtious. And yes I will call Don again the next time I need another appliance repaired.

Phoned Yorba Linda Appliance in the afternoon and was asked to leave a message which would be answered between 8 and 9 the following morning. It was. Don called, we made an appt.and he was at my door exactly on time. I was told what he was doing, what he was finding as the problems and the cost of repair. He was professional, polite and obviously knowledgeble. I was pleased with the service and would call on him again without hesitation.

The technician pretty much told me everything about what had happened. He was upfront about whether or not it was worth repairing it or not. I would call him again. The hourly rate that they charged was fair and the price for the motor part was pretty much a standard price. The quality of his work seemed to be all right and my dishwasher is working ever since he came out. His responsiveness and punctuality were good too.

Looked on Angies List and decided to go with a local repair shop as I was hoping to get the repair completed today. Don came ran some tests and found the problem. Fortunately he had the failing part on his truck so the work was completed very quickly. This was an A+ experience.

On my first call, I reached Don's voice mail. The message asked me a leave my name and number and he would call me the following morning. At 9:00 am the following day, Don called to arrange an appointment the same day. He showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the malfunctioning part on my Kenmore front load washing machine, said he would have to order the part and that he'd be back in two days to complete the repair. He wrote up an estimate, did not ask for any money and left. Later that day, I received a call from Don to say that his normal supplier was out of stock and that he was ordering from another warehouse out of state. He would try to keep the appointment, but wanted me to know that due to the distance and the supplier, that there could be a delay. The day of the scheduled appointment Don called in the morning to say that he had the part and would like to come out to complete the repair. Again, he showed up on time, installed the part in a few minutes, rebalanced my washer and the repair was complete in under half an hour. Don is a conscientious and efficient professional. Very good at what he does.

The owner Don Bigonger does all the work himself. He was prompt and quick. I felt safe with him in my home. He installed a new heating element in the dryer and then assessed my dishwasher. He felt that the dishwasher simply had a mineral/soap build up and recommended that I try a product called Lemi-Shine (from WalMart!) first. He said to use the product for a month and if the problem was not fixed, he would return and take apart the dishwasher to clean it out. I honestly see a marked difference after just a few loads.

Don was very polite and honorable. He called me with the price which was $418.60. I thought it was the price of the parts and his labor would be more. But to my surprise, this was the whole shebang. He fixed the washer in a little more than an hour. He is certainly someone I would use again for my appliances. My washer is working great.

HE IS THE ONLY PERSON THAT HAS THIS PRODUCT AND KNOWS HOW TO USE IT.

THE MAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE WAS REASONABLY PRICED AND FRIENDLY. I THINK THIS IS A VERY HONEST COMPANY.
