He completed the design but he didn't listen to me and I chose not to go with his service on the design.

However, when we were ready to use it, the contractor could not find any time in his schedule to do our work. We spoke a number of times over the last two months and were never able to get a time for the work to be done.

It did not go well at all! He took so long to get us the design rendering. We don't feel that we got the service we paid for. ! By the time he finally got back to us we were already going with another company.

It went great. We haven't decided if we are going to do the project yet.

He did a great job. I liked his punctuality. He showed up when he said he would. He finished the job and I didn’t have to go about asking him when it would be done. It worked out really well.

While he was very nice the quality of the renderings was not very good. Scheduling was fine. In the beginning he wsa very responsive but it took a couple weeks for the renderings to be emailed to us and I felt this should have been done more quickly.

I did not find value in the drawings. They were accommodating with scheduling and everything was outstandin except for the final rendering.

After the initial consultation we were disappointed with the response and the information he provided us. I know we only paid $49 for a basic design, but he was slow to get it to us and didn't contact us to let us know he was working on it and how long it would take finish it. I will say that he did give us what we paid for, but once we said we weren't ready to go immediately there was no contact at all.

Very satisfying with the assessment and quote that was given, very personable and communicated all of the options very well. It was a great experience.

Eric came out to our house to give us a hardscape detail, however he gave us much more than that. He gave us several options on landscaping the backyard, how much it would cost for each piece, and timeline for completion. He was very personable and informative. I really appreciated the time he took to go over our options, since we have a huge backyard, and a small budget. I would definitely recommend him and look forward to using him in the future.

From the moment Eric came out to give us the initial estimate, he kept in good contact with us and sent us a bunch of information about masonry blocks, stone veneer, pavers, stone and of course concrete and let us know he wanted the job. We were not to sure about who we were getting estimates from as we have heard nightmare stories on T.V. and from neighbors about contractors. We felt Eric always had our best interest in mind when he would suggest things and even more so when it comes to money. He would always say, "If this were my house, I would do this" and "You want to get the most for your money don't you?"

He did good, he did a small design for us. There weren't any extra charges. The design didn't include the grade, and what plants to plant, it was just a general rendering. He does a graphic overlay on the picture. He did a very good job of confirming, and he sent a sample of what he does, and so I knew what to expect. It was very clear between us, as to what would be accomplished, and we set up a time to meet, and he was there, and he did a good job. He was very professional. I didn't ask him to bid on any other work, I just asked him to make a design. His pricing was very good. .

Everything was great! The quality was good. They came out a week and a ½ after purchasing the Big Deal and they came out on our schedule. My biggest pet peeve was that when corresponding with them via email I asked them to please press "reply all" and there were some communication issues there.

Eric was great to work with. He is one of the rare contractors that are trustworthy, punctual, and absolutely hard working. He and his team showed up daily at 8am sharp and worked throughout the day. We all know there are some contractors that take "long lunches" and leave before a full day's work is in. NOT ERIC!! His work on our BBQ table and tiling was absolutely perfect. He also stuccoed the side in the color we requested. His idea to make it a 45 degree BBQ made it very attractive. His creativity here was unique and not expected. Another example of him going out of his way to provide stellar service. The job completed on time and without a hiccup. Contract was clear before the job start and did not change throughout. I would highly recommend his services especially if you like fair, honest, hardworking, and creative contractors.

The whole project came off without a hitch. This was a really big project and Eric and his crew were well-equipped to handle it. He owes his own Bobcat tractor, mini backhoe and debris trailers so there's no running out to rent equipment. Eric was great about keep me completely informed. We initially talked before Christmas and then he kept me up-to-date on the anticipated project start date. These guys showed up on time every day, took quick lunch breaks, and then worked until dark to get the job done. They are a hard-working, knowledgeable team. They work smart and neat. This was a big job that required extensive backhoe work, removing sections of iron fence to gain access, and many, many dump runs (there were mountains of debris!). To look at the condition of the yard you would never suspect the amount of demolition that actually took place! By the way, Eric is very environmentally conscious. He takes all his debris to either a green waste or concrete recycling facility. For me, that is a big plus! Would I hire them again? Absolutely!

The initial contact was over 1 week after the order and was a request for my phone number. I provided my phone number within a few hours. I never received a call within 2 weeks of the order, and had already contacted and met twice with another provider on Angie's list.

I was quoted $40,000.00 from Austin Landscape. The contractor seemed like a a very nice person. However, I wanted him to pull permits and he advised that permits were not included in the price and that he would not pull them from City. I thought that was a deal breaker until I received two other estimates which were much lower quotes for the exact work; one at $20,000.00 and another quote at $23,000.00. Both of the lower estimates included permits from the city. I went with the $23,000.00 estimate, because the contractor provided us with great referrals. I saved money, and the job turned out like a beauty so I am happy. I don't think I could refer Austin Landscape to anyone.

Eric and his team (Charlie and Juan) did an excellent job on our home. I found Eric on Angie's List, as I was calling a few people down the list. The moment we met him, we knew that we were going to go with his services. He seemed genuine and honest and made us feel comfortable as we were discussing our options. In the end, we were very satisfied with his work. Here are some of the reasons why: 1. Professionalism - He was very nice and patient with us. We recently bought an RV and knew that we needed a driveway to be constructed, however, we had absolutely no idea what that would entail. There were so many details that we didn't think about. Eric was willing to go through different options with us. He never once showed any agitation or irritability...if he had any, it was a well kept secret! Not only did he go through the different options with us, he also worked with us throughout the process. As he was working, we came up with other ideas on how we might want things to be done. For example, we originally started off with just wanting an RV driveway and parking area. In order to accomplish that, he had to move our play set to a different part of our backyard. Once it was there, it seemed like a nice place to keep it, so we wanted to add sand or gravel to the flooring so our kids could play. Then we wanted to add a fence to separate our dogs from where the RV was going to be parked. Eric helped us purchase the pea gravel (his suggestion, as we were not sure what the best material to use was) and bring it into our backyard with his bobcat! Again, I can't stress it enough, Eric and his crew were always professional in how they treated us, no matter how many changes to the plans there were. 2. Pricing - Eric does not nickel and dime you. If you give him your budget and give him an idea of what you want, he will work with you on how to get you an awesome result! Not only did he give us options as to what he could do for us, he was also very creative in doing what he could to save us as much money as he could. We were on a very tight budget but our yard was HUGE! So, Eric went through different materials that we could choose from that would not only keep our costs lower, but still give us the look that we were looking for. He was dedicated to our project and even sent us digital pictures from this program that he has, to give us an idea of what our choices were (for those who need a visual like me). Once we had a better idea of what we wanted, he then went through the pricing options. It was really helpful to see how much each option would cost us so we could decide which was the best to go with for us. Eric was also very realistic. He doesn't tell you something because he thinks that's what you want to hear. He will be honest and up front with you as far as what you can afford and what you can't. There were times when I had asked about something and he was honest and told me that based on the budget I gave him, I would not be able to get that. It was disappointing to hear, but I would rather deal with someone that is honest with me instead of trying to get me to upgrade on all sorts of things and in the end, being in more debt than my family could handle. 3. The work - I have to be honest, we were a little hesitant at first because the pavers didn't seem very nice (how we had imagined it). But we trusted Eric and took his word for it and in the end, my husband and I are definitely glad that we did. Eric has tons of experience and he knows what he's talking about. After he finished, we had several neighbors come by to tell us how nice the pavers look. We are VERY happy with the work. 4. The ABSOLUTE BEST - I can go on and on about Eric and his team....but the one thing that touched us the most was when he went above and beyond to help us. I have to admit, my husband and I rushed into buying an RV without doing tons of research that we probably should've done. But in the end, we had an RV and were ready to take our kids on family road trips and enjoy every bit of family time that we could get with our kids....before they are all grown up and want to be with "their own friends". So, we brought a trailer home that was about 35 feet long, without prior experience in pulling trailers. Eric helped us back it up into our new driveway....this may sound simple to some people, but to us, we were REALLY worried. This wasn't a part of the contract and Eric definitely didn't owe us anything. But nonetheless, he went above and beyond and showed my husband how to back up the trailer for the first time. He gave him tips and worked with him until we finally got that thing parked on the side of our house! I know that this doesn't have anything to do with the quality of Eric's work or the pricing....but I hope that those of you reading this, would understand that finding the right person/company to create the HOME that you are looking for, should go well above and beyond just the right look and the right price. You want to go with the right person/company because it can be a very stressful time with all your grass and landscape looking like crap, but when you know that a people like Eric and his team are working on making it all nice and pretty in the end, it will give you a little peace of mind when you lay your head down at night. Finding flexible, caring and professional people is equally as important and the quality and pricing. We would definitely call upon Eric and his team in the future if we need any further work.

Austin came out to measure my back yard. He was here for about 30 minutes taking typical measurements of the yard. I explained my wish list for items to include like a fireplace, waterfall, tree planter, other planters, patio space. 2 weeks later I received an email with his computer renderings. They were very basic. I could have achieved the same results myself using my own computer. The layout was not specific enough for my contractor. He needs more details as to the placement of the planter, heights, widths, placement of water lines, etc. He did send a few internet links to websites with fireplaces and waterfalls that I might like. Really, I should have not spent the money if I knew I was getting just a basic layout. For the price, I guess that is the rate of his time to drive here, measure, and design.

We liked Eric's work ethic as he was always punctual and hardworking. He had good ideas and very creative. Very easy to communicate with. Always cleaned up each day before leaving. He did an excellent job laying the pavers for our walkway and patio.

Eric from this company came out to do a landscape design on my front yard and driveway. Although he is a really nice guy, he took wayyyyyyyy too long to come out the first time, and wayyyyyyy too long to complete the job. When I got the computer sketches and asked him to make a change so I could see it, he took literally months to get back to me. Nice guy, probably over his head. He was definitely not prepared to actually do the work, had I gotten his sketches on time.

It was fine. It was kind of hard to communicate with him to get it set up. He has some ideas but I don't think I would use him because of lack of responsiveness. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. It took a few weeks after I purchased the deal for him to come out.

We had a wonderful experience with Eric Austin and his team of Juan and Charlie. They are true professionals. Eric inspected our old brick patio, agreed it had to go, directed us to a paver company in the area that had a great selection of pavers. Once we chose our new pavers, we sat back and watched our backyard transformed by Eric, Juan and Charlie. The results were spectacular, more than we dared to hope for. And what a pleasure it was to interact with all three artisans.

Eric was very helpful. He offered a lot of ideas and money saving suggestions to meet my limited budget. He even outlined exactly what i need to do for certain projects. I have the option of using his services for all my projects or just some my projects, then doing the rest myself. Definitely worth every dime I paid. Thanks Eric!

Responded the very next day after purchase asking for my contact info which was great! Responded one week later apologizing for some dental issues he was having and asked for a good time to set up the appt. Never heard from him again. Last contact was on 9/17. Unfortunately, after waiting for almost a month for another response, I don't wish to continue with his services.
