Description of Work: EA Construction was supposed to provide consultant services for hardscaping. He was too busy to give me a proposal so I found someone else.

Description of Work: I hired EA Construction to demolish and replace my driveway, after vetting three other contractors. Not only was the price the most reasonable, but Eric, the owner, was present for all steps of the job, and texted me photos of the progress. A number of my neighbors stopped by to see the work being done and commented on how well it all turned out. At least one asked Eric to bid her driveway replacement. If she's smart, she'll hire him. I have to replace my concrete patio in the back yard and you can bet I'll be calling EA Construction!

Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal from them for a complete hardscape assessment with design rendering.

Description of Work: They replaced our old asphalt driveway with a nice concrete one. The whole thing took 3 days. One day to remove the old asphalt. The next day they put in the forms and rebarb for the concrete. The last day the cement was poured and the job of smoothing the fresh cement was done. About a week later they cut in some lines in the concrete. The job was done right and very professionally.

Description of Work: I purchased the deal in 09/2013, but didn't get to use it until 04/2014. I called and left messages, but didn't get any responses. When finally I did get hold of Eric, he told me that he's very busy and cannot get to me until a month later. I asked him if he can come by on a Monday or weekend? He seemed annoyed and asked where I lived. When he found that I lived closed to Pasadena, he said that he only service Orange County. I felt that he was just too busy and wanted to brush me off.

Description of Work: Mr. Austin visited our home, gave us his suggestions for landscape improvement, and drew up a series of drawings which he emailed to us. He was very accommodating, personable, and informative. We like his suggestions, and we are now pondering decisions on when/if to move forward. He has done a good job of remaining in touch, giving us occasional follow-up reminders to see if we are still interested. I certainly would recommend his services to others, based on his personality, responsibility, and the work performance he has demonstrated on his website.

Description of Work: Front of property * Demo & Removal of driveway, walkway, 2 existing planters, and front porch landing. * Small wall (2' tall) built on east side of property to match existing wall on the west side, bullnose added to both * Planter around tree (8' x 5') and under front window- rebuilt with concrete footings and rebar, veneered with cultured stone, and bullnose added. * Concrete porch base installed with concrete and rebar- brown brick placed in a herringbone pattern. * Walkway steps (5' wide) poured in colored, stamped concrete, bordered with brown flash bricks, and lighting installed. * 4 large columns on house covered with cultured stone * 2 pilasters were built (approx. 4'tall), low voltage lighting wires installed. * Driveway poured with colored concrete, stamped impression done, outlined with brick, and sealed (28 days later). * Planter on east of driveway formed with brick outline * New control valves for irrigation installed - control box installed in the garage. Rear of property * Existing concrete slab removed (38' x 14')- new one poured with colored concrete, outlined in brick, and stamped (later sealed) * 4 concrete posts were rebuilt to support the patio cover - they were then stuccoed to match the house.
