It went as well as you could expect. Warren, his son and his staff were fantastic. We truly enjoyed our experience with him and his crew, and would work with them again in the future. We have had some bad experiences in the past, and Warren was so wonderful. We have already recommended him to friends and plan to use him in the future upcoming projects.

Unforeseen: fireplace rattling/resonating when home theater is in use. Warren modified fireplace (added brackets, dampening materials, etc.) to make sure it doesn't make any noise. To say the least: that was not easy! Exceptionally good with masking/protecting the room, our kitchen and family room share same space, kitchen had no dust whatsoever! VERY HAPPY with the result, will definitely hire again!

It went well. First, Warren showed up and asked a bunch of questions about what we wanted done and was able to give us a quote within a week. After signing the contract, work started very quickly and was finished within three days. Everyone was friendly, attentive to what we wanted, and worked professionally.

Hawley and sons provided excellent service throughout the entire project. Worked well with the architects who made a few small errors in he planning process. We are remodeling another home and will definitely use them again. We have had problems in the past with lesser costly contractors and all we can say is you get what you pay for.

The estimate was about the same as another. I wanted to hire them, left my cell number, but received no response.

They did a good job and were pretty quick.

Warren really knows his stuff and I would easily hire him again. Especially for those tasks that require some specialized knowledge. Coming from a building background, I knew that the installation of our dog door was going to be a bit tricky and I did not have all the necessary tools to accomplish the job on my own. This was not one of those easy through the door dog doors - done some of those in the past. I felt the bid was very fair and I liked the fact that Warren, from the get go, gave me the feeling that he was the right person for the job. Everything went as I had hoped. Thank you Warren and Joe. I contacted this provider to set up an appointment to get an estimate for repair work to be done on my rental property. I called two weeks in advance of the date I wanted to set a time. I live out of state and was making this trip specifically to meet with contractors and to get bids. I had to call the company twice - they never returned my first message. He was pleasant, however did not want to make an appointment. Instead, he asked me to send him photos of the work that needs to be done. This does not work for me and is unprofessional. I will not be using this contractor's services.

Mr. Hawley response time was very quick. He began the work in the same week and completed it in a decent amount of time. The quality of work was good. I have more work for him to do but had to put it off for a bit, but he was ready to start as soon as the first project was complete.

Everyone showed up when they said they would, Warren was very professional, and provided flexible scheduling which helped us coordinate the other work that was being done. The workers were kind, and respectful. I have no doubt who I will call next time we need work done in our house.

It went terribly. I purchased an 8 hour deal for $545 her at Angie's List. I had never had any contact with the provider before. I was told that I would be contacted within 2 days and was not. The email correspondance was poor. I had to complain to Angie's List that no one was following up with my emails. Then my email was finally returned. Warren was certainly not the friendliest, but the smaller projects were done first OK. He did not want to do work on putting my new basketball hoop to replace the broken old one in the heat, so we resecheduled. His assistant did most of the work trying to put up the old hoop, and had a lot of trouble doing it. He could not figure it out. I was helping him lift it up his ladder trying to attach it while he was on the roof, but he could not get it to work. Toward the end, the ladder gave out under me and I fell. Fortuneatly, I grabbed onto my rain gutter, so I did not get hurt. He finally put the backboard and rim together, and then waited for Warrent to return to put it up. The frame on the roof for the backboard was already there, excepty for two new 2x4s to raise the height a few inches. He then started to put it in 3 inches too high, when basketball hoops are, of course, at 10 feet.. I don't know how a professional can miss by that much. Anyway, the orignal backboard and hoop that was put up took the previousl handyman I used (who I wish was available for this) took less than 2 hours, including creating the entire frame. Warren and his assistant took well over 5 hours to put it up, incuding 2 extra hours over the 8 I already paid. Which means, I'm supposed to pay them an extra $130. So the installation cost much more than the hoop and backboard itself. Needless to say, I was very upset when I got the bill. First of all, why does it take a professional 5 hours to put up a basketball hoop onto an already existing frame, except for a small adjestment. Besides, his assistant, who was perfectly nice, did not know what he was doing. He could not figure it out, which of course, ate up a lot of time, in addition to installing it way too high first. I tried calling the company to talk about this, and see if something could be worked out. I spoke to Warren, who was extremely rude and condescending. I suppose I will have to pay the bill, but I am very angry about it. I will never use this company again, nor do I recommend anyone use them ever. This was very dishonest. And I will let everyone I know never to use them.

Would have loved to have provided a very positive review, however the contractor didn't return my voice mail or email when it came time to schedule the work. After receiving several quotes, I selected Hawley & sons to install safety equipment in my bathroom and add an additional staircase railing. Very disappointed as he provided the best bid and seemed interested in performing quality work and based on his reviews on Angie's list, I anticipated a positive outcome and would have been pleased to support a local contractor in my own community.

There were some delays on my part, but the provider was willing to work with my schedule and was friendly and courteous. I have used this provider in the past and would be pleased to do so again in the future.

The work was well done and within the time alloted. I would use his services again.

I wish all my experiences with contractors were this easy and great. I sent a list of items that I needed done around the house. They told me it would probably take all day. They said I could purchase materials or they could go to home depot and get them that day. I decided to purchase materials ahead of time so I could get as much done as possible. They arrived on time were very professional and did a great job. They were efficient and I was able to add a few more things to my list of repairs at the end of the day. I would definitely call them again.

Cant do work til after 1st of year need work done now.

On time. Did what he said he would do. Super sub contractors Warren is incredibly trustworthy and proactive. Cannot recommend him enough.

I have decided not to use this deal. I did not feel that they could handle what I needed done.

Warren and his helper did the job in about 4 hours. No fuss, no mess. It just came out right.

Very difficult to schedule an appointment and they handyman that came out worked very slow and job was not completed due to not enough time. The work that was done was done well but for what was completed vs. the price of the deal it was't much of a value.
