Description of Work: Replaced/finished Sheetrock ceiling in an entry closet. |Due to water damage, we had removed the ceiling in a downstairs closet. We took advantage of a 2-hr labor/$125 Big Deal offered by Hawley Bros, who came out right away & gave an estimate for a couple of projects. Because of my schedule, we had to play a little telephone/email tag to set the actual repair date, but finally made connections & scheduled the appointment. The worker called to let me know he was on the way, arrived as scheduled, & completed the project in a timely, manner. He also cleaned up the site before leaving. It was a nice job.

Description of Work: Relocated gas pipe for new stove installation, which included follow-up visits at no additional charge to locate and repair gas leak caused by pipe movement. Additional cost of parts brought total to $150, only $25.00 over the "special deal" price. When PG&E confirmed the gas leak in the wall, Hawley even came in on Sunday to locate the leaking pipe and run a compression test to confirm that the leak was stopped. Prompt, courteous, and reliable. I recommend Hawley& Sons as a general contractor.
