New Look Home Remodeling

I rennovated an old bathroom and the yellow tile in the shower stall did not work anymore and I wanted to change it to white. After checking everyone on Angies List I called New Look. Ram and Sean were in the neighborhood and arrived to give an estimate in about 15 minutes. They spent time reviewing what I wanted done and gave me a price that I thought fair. We scheduled the work to be done a couple of days later at a time convenient for me. Ram was going to email the contract to me. I did not receive a written estimate/contract from Ram until I contacted him again, but there were no surprises as it included everything we had discussed. On the scheduled day, a Thursday afternoon, Jose and Billy arrived exactly on time and started work. They took their time to cover all the surfaces in the bathroom that would not be sprayed and they did a good job. They were at my house for about 5 hours doing the job. When they left the bathroom was closed off until someone would come to remove all the plastic coverings. Jose told me that someone would come to do that on Saturday. Jose then gave me another paper that included the estimate and a section on "terms" including a notice that there was a 3% additional charge for credit card payments. I had not been notified of this before and it should be on the first estimate form. I called Ram the next day and was told that Jose would arrive Saturday between 11 and 1 to remove the paper and tape. I could not be home then but a friend could wait for them. My friend called at 2 pm to say that no one had arrived. I call Ram and was told that Jose was in Orange County (I am in West LA) and would arrive in about 45 minutes. I thought the communications could have been better and told Ram that I was upset at having someone sit around for hours waiting for them. Jose and someone else arrived at 3 and left at approximately 4:15. There were some slight problems with the finish which they could fix at that time. My advice to someone who is having this process done is to carefully inspect the results before the technicians leave. Overall, I am very pleased with the results of the reglazing and I hope to enjoy it for many years. There is a very strong odor associated with this process but I knew this was going to happen and I could easily cope with it. While there were some problems with the finish they were easily resolved. My only complaint is about the lack of communication about when people were comnig to "unveil" the bathroom. A quick update. The shower door installers chipped the glazing. I contacted Ram and asked for help and also asked it I could use the shower with the chipped glazing. Ram responded immediately to my concerns saying he would take care of everything and I could continue to use the shower. His technician (Jose) came as scheduled and took care of all my concerns including adding more non-slip material to the floor of the shower. I am more than delighted. Thank you Ram and Jose.

My wife wanted to get rid of our Jacuzzi for a long time. It was very dirty and she could never clean the jets thoroughly. I had a contractor come and bid the job at $3200 to remove the Jacuzzi and install a tile shower to replace it. There was allot of work involved to replace the tile install a shower pan Etc. and I did not want to spend the money. New Look was the cheaper option at a fraction of the cost. They came and with in one day made our Jacuzzi look sparkling new, looks great and we saved $$$. Now we are thinking of renewing our kitchen counter top, Thanks

The kitchen sinks and bathtub had been glazed several years prior. They were in terrible condition--peeling. The team scraped all the old glaze thoroughly before starting, and covered everything from floor to ceiling with plastic and the floors with butcher paper. I removed the plastic and butcher paper 3 days (the 10th) later. The sinks and tub looked brand new. I had requested that the bathtub bottom be given a rough skid-proof surface. That was done but could have been a little rougher. The biggest criticism I have is the horrible odor, even though it used eco-friendly products (which I discussed with Ram). I suggested to him that he recommend that customers not re-enter the premises for 6-12 hours. This would apply to all businesses which reglaze. The odor has got to be toxic. Other wise I was very satisfied with the end result.

Happy wth the results. Sanding of old surface and reglazed tub with textured no-slip bottom. Bathroom area and hallway outside of bathroom was covered to protect hardwood floors. Excellent care was taken, thanks.

Fabulous. Ram's team is great -- professional, courteous, on-time and very careful around my home. Ram is just the nicest guy. Very pleasant and always listens. I've dealt with many contractors and many are flakes. This company was really on the ball. The bathrooms look fantastic. My friends have asked for his contact info. Way to go!! F

I received several quotes from top rated companies on Angies List. The pricing was similar between them, however New Look Surface Refinishing was able to offer us color options that none of the other companies had. One company wouldn't even come out to give a quote and gave me an estimate over the phone. I met with Ram at the property and he was really friendly and professional. I felt comfortable with him right away and I knew that he would provide the best service. He brought his crew over and they taped up everything around the shower and vanities. They came back the following day to reglaze everything. They were clean and they caused no damage to the surrounding areas (which was important to me since we just painted the bathroom walls a few days before). Overall, we are extremely satisfied with his work. This was a cost effective way to give our bathrooms a new fresh look and we would highly recommend this company.

This company was the BEST! Ram was thorough, punctual, and a total pleasure to work with. He explains everything upfront and follows through with everything he promises. Our old, dated, stained tub and tile look BEAUTIFUL and we didn't have to spend a fortune to rip it out and replace it. I would highly recommend this process and THIS COMPANY!!

I had a very good experience with this company. We received what normally would have cost several thousand dollars in replacement costs for total replacement of the vanity and top. This is a great value if you're looking to update your counter tops and cabinets. NewLook provided exceptional service with professionalism that I admired and was thankful for. We will be utilizing their services for future projects.

Fantastic! Rom is so wonderful to work with, his enthusiasm is infectious. He truly loves what he does, and it shows up in the superb craftsmanship of his employees. Their tape lines were absolutely perfect. They were in and out quickly, and saved me from a ton of money. Clean, efficient and beautiful.

What a great service and affordable solution. After many years of avoiding any eye contact with my dated tile surround I decided to upgrade the look of my tile and give it some new life.I had apretty limited budget to work with and couple weeks ago I came across New Look Surface Refinishing Ad in one of our local magazines and decided to call them to give me a free estimate. Within 2 hours the company?s rep showed up! He was very professional and took his time to educate me about the refinishing process and best of all: he had some actual samples of tile pieces that have been refinished. He had about 30 different finishes to share with me and I was able to touch it and get an exact idea how my tile is going to look and feel like ! A week later the job was completed. It took the techs about 2 hours just to tape off all my bath area and then another hour to spray the new finish. It came out beautiful and I am so happy with the new modern stone look that I now have. This company simply took the customer service to a different level : Before the techs left, they gave me a beautiful well designed ?Thank You Kit? that included :my invoice, cleaning and care instruction.5 years warranty and two coupons of $25.00 OFF for any future job. On top of that, a day later I received a phone call from New Look main office, and the gentleman that called explain me that this is part of the company QC Control. He wanted to know if the techs showed up on time (they did),if they explain me all the refinishing process and curing time (they spend 15 minutes to educate me about the process), if they taped off and mask the entire room (they did took their time to do that ), and overall if they were friendly and professional (they were indeed). 5 days later I got in the mail another coupon as appreciation for my willingness to participate in the short survey conducted by the QC Team of the company. Top class! ****Forgot to mention that 2 days after the job was completed I received an email from the company with before & after pictures from my bathroom. It was fun to look at the before pictures?I shared those pictures on my FB and got so many comments?Most of my friends literally thought that I installed a new Tile !!!

A gentleman called Ram came to give us an estimate. He was very professional with his presentation. We hired him on the spot. The next day he showed up again with his crew. They prep the room nicely and the job was done the same day. It was great, because we had guest coming for the weekend and everything was ready for them ahead of time. I manage an apartment in Culver City. My tenants had a small fire and the countertops in the bar were left with burn marks. I found New Look on Angie's List. I called and spoke with Ram. He was very nice on the phone and made an appointment for May 31st to come to take a look, explain my options an give me a price. Ram showed up right on time. He explained the process to me and answered all of my questions. Ram showed me samples of his work and brought all of the color/finish samples for me to look at. I explained what I was looking for and Ram helped me find a finish that would look great with the wood cabinetry as well as the carpet. Ram was very professional, friendly and helpful! Ram e-mailed the price to me within an hour. The new tenants asked me to hold off for a week or so until they were settled. I called Ram on Friday the 7th and the work was done today, June 10th! The workers showed up on time and were very nice. They got to work covering every piece of furniture with plastic and taping paper to the walls surrounding the 2 bar countertops. They were very fast workers! They finished everything in 2 hours! They left the room very clean and the countertops look great! You would never know that they had been damaged! I have several other units in the building with bars. I'm hoping to have them redone as well! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!!!

After using New Look services couple months to remodel mt own kitchen and bath , I called them again to resurface the Jacuzzi tub at my parents house .The Jacuzzi was not in a great shape and definitely knew some better days. The flooring was peeling and the original Almond color was awful. The two techs that came to my parents house, literally spent the entire day to get it done correctly.They sanded down the Jacuzzi walls and floor and took their time to spray each and every spot. The old Almond Jacuzzi is now white and shiny. After so many years,my parents can now enjoy the Jacuzzi again (see attached picture). Great service by professionals who knows what they are doing. BTW, they provide 5 years warranty on their job.I LIKE IT !

When Ram, the NewLook Refinishing representive, showed up at my home to introduce me to his product and services, I was amazed at the lack of pressure along with his kind, caring and personable approach. The appointment was not hurried, nor did he try to secure a contract so he could quickly move on to the next appointment. Just the opposite - Ram was extremely attentive and listening intently to my many needs and wants, and did not seem to tire of my questions or concerns. Before he left, I felt I could trust him, his product and his crew to do an excellent job, so we agreed to begin work within the next week. His crew arrived within the agreed upon time, their prep work was amazing and thorough, and their clean-up was impeccable. I need to mention a great example of their incredible customer service: I had changed my mind three times as to the countertop and bath surround area surface color and without hesitation, Ram and/or his other representative, Britton (very kind and personable Texas gentleman!), drove over an hour roundtrip to bring my other possible color choice. Thankfully, after the second trip, I fell in love with Safari Tan and gave my approval to move forward. Love it!! When I apologized for my indecision and their having to trek back and forth to bring back a sample gallon of new color, Ram said, "It's okay, because if you, the customer, is not happy, then I'm not happy. I want you to love it." This proves, once again, this company does not look at their customers as a "fast sale" but as a long term relationship, which only happens when both sides walk away completely satisfied and happy (which means referrals!). That is an excellent way for companies to do business, truly the only way. I would HIGHLY recommend them. And my bathrooms are gorgeous!!

Great service. They saved us thousands from having to buy a new Jacuzzi .My 15 year old Jacuzzi looks like new and I am back using it after a couple years that I did not use at all because of the crack and the peeling paint.
