MBC replaced two huge damaged beams and the four posts on my patio cover. They also noticed that I needed some additional painting & they provided me with a bid for that work. I appreciated that, as it was in the entryway to my front door and anyone coming to the front door would notice it. When I approved the second bid, they completed that work also. The workmen arrived at 7:00 each morning & they stayed late on the last day to complete all the work which took 4 days. Isaac, the owner, appeared at my front door the day after the work was done to make sure I was completely satisfied with the job. He asked to inspect the work & noticed a few paint drippings on my cement patio. He promptly had two workers remove all traces of those drippings. It is nice to have a company that ensures that the client is happy when the work is done. I will call Much Better Construction in the future should I need other work to be done. Carol Ellis

First time contracting a general contractor for my home needs. I needed my fascia boards replaced and painted. Issac and his team were quick and professional to finish the job. The owner was always in communication with me throughout the process. I will definitely recommend him to friends and family, and will use him and his team again for future home projects.

The old external stairs and railings up to our back ADU badly needed both step resurfacing and rot damage repair all around, including entirely replacing a major support post. Itzhak responded to my inquiry and I was glad we connected. He came over right away for an inspection and made a quick proposal. He was available for all my questions while choosing a contractor, and as soon as we were ready, made himself and his team available. He was present throughout, available for any questions throughout the repair, and shared progress reports every step of the way. They went above and beyond, did a thorough clean up, and left my home feeling brand new. I would 110% hire him again for any other job.

We hired Much Better Construction to remodel our upstairs bathroom based upon word of mouth. We were not disappointed. Our bathroom had not been updated since the 1970's, so this was a major project that involved demolition, plumbing, tile replacement, and piping/electrical work. We needed a general contractor who could do everything in a safe and effective manner. Boy did we find the right company! The consultations prior to the commencement of construction (and during all phases of the work) were much appreciated, as we knew at all times what to expect. When construction began, the Much Better Construction crew arrived early every day (and stayed late), were very polite and respectful, never missed a weekday (even working weekends when necessary), and came in on budget and in less days than promised. They took extreme measures to ensure that dust did not travel to other parts of the house throughout the project, which I particularly appreciated given that we have small kiddos. The results are simply magnificent - the bathroom is gorgeous and everything we could have wanted. The fixtures are beautiful. There were countless meticulous efforts made by the Much Better Construction crew that did not go unnoticed. We are planning to hire Much Better Construction for future projects (they do outdoor decks too!) and are recommending them to friends and family. We cannot recommend them enough!

Think about everything you would like your contractor to be - friendly, smart, hard-working, and always helpful, and always immediately responsive to any communications. That, in a nutshell, is Isaac. I canâ t begin to say enough about his company. We had work done in October, and again in July, and, tellingly, the crew was all the same people. When you have a great crew you stick with them. 10 stars to these guys!

We're very pleased with the work Issac did on our house. The Project was to repair/replace damaged fascia and other exterior woodwork, plus painting same and the entire front for our two story house (HomeAdvisor doesn't provide options to select these). The work met expectations, was done ahead of schedule, and at a fair price (middle of our estimates). His work plan was more detailed than any other, and specified exactly what was to be done. Issac was in constant contact (couple times a day), plus onsite daily. He was quick to respond to any issue, plus redid a couple items that weren't just right. We'd definitely use him again.

When Isaac says he wants you to be happy with the job, he means it. We were unhappy with a small part of the job and he came back the same week to fix it - even after they were paid in full. Itâ  s great now and we are very happy. Thank you, Isaac!

My husband and I are very happy we found Much Better Construction on Home Advisor to install a handrail on our front porch. I received a call from Isaac immediately after I contacted Home Advisor and he came to our house the very same dayâ ¦..great service! He came by our home to give us an estimate and suggested a particular handrail to order. Isaac was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and communicative about the project at hand. As soon as we received the shipment, I called Isaac and he was available a few days later. We were very impressed with his work ethics and how quickly he was able to assemble and install the handrail. The price he quoted us was very competitive/ reasonable. We highly recommend Isaac from Much Better Construction!

Isaac the owner was great. They were always on time and clean up before they left was good too. He fixed an 8 foot window that was leaking and had mold. They went into the wall replaced parts sealed it up on the outside redid paint and stucco then came inside and repaired around window got rid of mold patched got paint to match and it looks like new! They also resealed all my other winds and painted wood trim. Very satisfied with job and as soon as it warms up will ask them to paint my wood trim!

I hired Isaac to remove my Trex decking and install a french drain system along my back sidewalk area. He removed the Trex and we found existing drainage under the decking and dirt that had accumulated prior to my purchase of the house. He flushed out the existing drain system, repaired some rotten stringers, sealed the top of the 2"x6"'s and re-installed the Trex decking. It took about 4 days, very quick. Isaac and his team were great to work with. He was on site and very active in overseeing the project. He was a pleasure to work with and I then contracted him to remodel my master bathroom.

Isaac was wonderful to work with. I actually called him out to give me a quote on deck repair and he ended up advising me on a flood mitigation project I had been struggling with. He ultimately ended up giving me a quote for about half the amount as another company. They were able to start almost immediately and completed the work in the proposed window. Everyone Isaac employed for the job was kind and considerate of our space. The only thing I would note is that at times there was no notice of when workers would be coming or going, but ultimately that wasnâ t much of an issue since they got the job done on time. I also REALLY appreciated that Isaac was able to show me so many examples of his previous work. Thatâ s pretty rare in the contracting world.
