It went well, on time, fair price, and great tile work

This was part of our competitive bid process. The pergola has not been done, as yet.

Nathan was professional, friendly, and very focused on ensuring we were satisfied with the work that his team performed. His prices were very fair and he was able to start almost immediately and he finished ahead of schedule. His team was good about notifying us of any issues as they arose. His team stayed late to ensure the job was done correctly and even came back an extra day to complete some finishing touches that we had requested. Through the project Nathan had very good communication - he called, showed up at the house, and was very attentive. He has earned our trust and will be the first person we contact when we need some more work performed on our home!

Kn remodeling and supplies did an excellent job, which consisted of remodeling two bathrooms, the kitchen, two bedrooms, living room, dining/bar area, and upgrading the garage ceiling. This townhouse project included stripping wallpaper (5+ rooms), painting throughout including staircase walls/ceilings and all the doors and closets, baseboards, toilets, bathrooms shower doors + associated plumbing hardware, bathrooms tiling, and cement-board floor replacement of linoleum in the kitchen + bathrooms. During this process, the crew took great care not to damage pre-existing items in the house, including the hardwood floors and others. They were very attentive, courteous and professional, and importantly responded to our needs for some scheduling accommodations. Debris removal/collection was conducted daily, allowing us a welcome degree of relatively unobstructed normalcy during and (especially) after work-days, as the multi-week project progressed. Dust-protection of floors, staged items and furniture was well-implemented, with residual particles (floaters) needing post-remodeling attention. I want to thank Nathan and KN Remodeling

One of the best experiences I have had with a company. Nathan, the Project Manager, was very kind, and went over all aspects of the project. He called to follow up as the project progressed. His crew was polite, professional, and on time. He quoted me an approximate finishing target date, and was within two days of his prediction. KN REMODELING they did two projects for us. The first project was a complete bathroom remodel and everything was excellent, the crew was excellent. The customer service was great and all work was done on time. The second project that they did was our roof. The work that they did was professional. Everything was with inspection and they cleaned all around the house and all areas that was worked on. Very impressed with the quality of work I received from KN Remodeling.

Kn remodeling did my wood floor in the house. A few months later there was a plumbing issue at the house, I called Nathan the owner. He came, evaluated the problem. In matter of few days plumbing issue was resolved, new wood flooring installed, cabinet in the Bar area returned and new granite counter top installed. Wow. What a sight. I would definitely use kn remodeling in any future projects

WE couldn't be more pleased with the results. I checked N/A by the cost because amazingly enough, we didn't get bids from anybody else. After spending a couple of hours with Nathan discussing the project I was certain he was honest and would do a good job. I wasn't disappointed. His crew showed up on time, were careful about protecting surfaces and cleaned up well at the end of the day. Amelio the tile setter did great work and is a very nice person. The dog even liked him and got to thinking of him as another member of the pack. He (Amelio, not the dog) and Nathan made suggestions to slightly change our tile design that were great improvements. All the work was either on time or ahead of schedule. A couple of times the conversation went like this. "Have you picked out ABC? We're ready to install that tomorrow." There was none of the "Where's the contractor?" stuff that you hear horror stories about. To sum up, Nathan is an honest professional contractor who will do a great job. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

KN Remodeling came to my house to check the windows and we had aluminum single pain windows. We decided to replace with energy efficient double pain windows that met EPA standards. The price was excellent and the job was completed in a worry free time scan. The crew that worked on this job were excellent, professional, clean and performed the job in a timely manner. They arrived in the morning and completed it and cleanup up in one day. We would recommend this company and intend to use them again in the near future.

KN remodeling completed removing the old roof and put the new one on in two days. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. The deck was done within a couple days. We loved the results. The gutters were done in less than hour. Overall we really liked dealing with KN remodeling. All the workers were professional and cleaned up any mess they made. I recommend the company.

In three days, our flat roof, which was badly in need in of repair (there were leaks inside the house!) was thoroughly replaced. This includes the terra cotta roof tiles around the perimeter of our 1927 house, which were either broken or missing. The guys from KN Remodeling were quick and efficient. The owner, Nathan, is very conscientious and wanted to make sure we were happy every step of the way. Despite the drought, I had been begging for the rain to stay away. Not anymore. Let it rain!

We started working with KN from a cold marketing call they placed to us. We needed kitchen granite counter tops. The owner came to our house that same afternoon and gave us a price we couldn't resist. The workers showed up exactly when they had promised, did an excellent job, cleaned up after themselves and left. Immediately after this, we found out we have water damage and mold in our kitchen. After the insurance assigned contractor took care of mold, we hired KN to reconstruct our entire kitchen that was gutted by water remediation. They changed our laminate flooring to tile, added 12 pull outs inside our cabinets and then started the meticulous work of cleaning, sanding and staining our oak cabinets. The painters spent a lot of time covering every surface with either paper or plastic to protect it against the stain spraying. And they isolated the whole kitchen with plastic curtains so the sanding dust and staining spray wouldn't damage the furniture outside kitchen. We also asked them to take out the florescent lighting in both our kitchen and kids' bathroom and replace it with recessed lighting. The electricians did that effortlessly and the ceiling damage was repaired and ceiling painted later by the painters. The different workers who came to do each part of the job were very responsible. They had good communication with us and kept us informed of what was coming next. They all cleaned up after themselves. The owner was constantly in phone communication with us to make sure things are going well. I never had a phone call that was not taken care of right away. They worked weekends and holidays to finish the work faster and return our kitchen to us. The finished work looks beautiful, all the parts match each other perfectly, the new color of the cabinets make them look brand new! The only thing that I would have liked to see more of was for the owner to better coordinate between the subcontractors so they wouldn't get in each other's way and work most efficiently. I had to do some of that myself. We have some more upgrades we need to do in the house and we intend to ask KN to do them for us.

The job didn't go too well. There are gaps in the peak of the roof. The proposed remedy was to caulk it. They never got a permit and they do not have workman's comp. Their original price was, in my opinion, exorbitant, and the solution was to swap some of my power tool and a utility trailer for a lower price. Their communication was also not very good. For example, the day after I signed he and his crew just showed up without calling beforehand. They also took the power tools and utility trailer at the same time. It felt like he was forcing me to commit to having them do this job. When I called into the office to voice my concerns, the owner used inappropriate and unprofessional language regarding me. He also misrepresented himself as being a company with a positive listing on Angie's List.
