JDO CONSTRUCTION

JDO Construction was recommended to us by our pest company for termite damage repairs and they were superb. Jeff came out the next day on a Sunday to access the damage and all damages were repairs within a week of us calling him. He could not have made a stressful situation more painless. Will definitely hire again (but hopefully not to repair more termite damages)!

Mr. Oxstein did a careful and judicious job, determining where the weaknesses were and making the necessary replacements. He did not press me to replace the whole deck, agreeing that it was in good condition for its age. The carpentry was neat and precise, and he cleaned up well. He had obviously seen a lot of decks! Despite there being a little more work than he anticipated, he stuck to his initial estimate as to the cost ($1,100). He and his co-worker were very pleasant to deal with. I would gladly use them again.

Perfection! I can't say enough about the quality of the work and the professionalism shown by everyone! The wood that was replaced was treated with Borite - a termite repellent - and the wood replaced is not only perfect but is also primed and ready to be repainted. I give the absolute highest recommendation for JDO Construction!

Jeff from JDO Construction, who was referred to me by the termite service, came promptly to provide me with an estimate to repair the damaged wood. He had to replace large posts that supported the roof over our entryway porch, replace trim in the front and back of house, replace large damaged supporting post wraps, replace window sills, repair drywall in the garage, repair other boards with "Bondo" so they would look new again, and treat new wood with "Boron" to prevent further water damage. He and his assistant, Mario, are both very pleasant. They spent three days in the heat working very hard, and did an excellent job. The termite service spoke very highly of JDO Construction, and said that we should use JDO if we want the work done properly. They were right, as we are very pleased with their work.

Mr. Oxstein (JDO Construction) did all the work himself with the help of one employee. He completed all the repairs to the highest quality and took only one half day longer than the time he estimated it would take. Each day he showed up on time, worked a long day and left the job site tidy. He had an experienced knowledge of the materials and methods needed for this type of repair. For example, he treated all new lumber with a termite repellant and took extra steps with the Bondo repairs to make them as permanent as possible. He painted everything upon completion of the repairs. We were very satisfied with the quality of the work. A word about the price: $4000 might seem like an outlandish amount but it was absolutely fair. The job took 5 and frac12; days to complete, and involved an array of different skills to accomplish. The amount charged also included many materials. His company is licensed, bonded and insured. We are impressed. We recommend Jeff Oxstein of JDO Construction.

The Job was competed on time with a very good result. Jeff and his assistant were prompt and cleaned up every day before they left. The job lasted 4 days. I would hire them agin and intend to.

He did a tremendous job. I can't tell where he cut the old eaves out. He came out promptly and was professional. He cleaned up after himself. The price is standard for the work done. He is a very quiet workman. He attended to his job and was very courteous.
