In one word: FANTASTIC!!! I called on Wednesday and on Friday morning, the jobs were started - finished mid afternoon. I would definitely, without hesitation, recommend Ron & his crew to everyone! We will definitely be contacting Ron for work we need performed in the future.

Halo promised completion of the project in 3 days and finished in two. The crew was very efficient and highly skilled and performed their work in over 100 degree temperatures. Ron Schwartz was always available and very conscientious of the workmanship and materials. I highly recommend Halo!

They deliver what they promise. My husband was able to observe them and they were very clean and did exactly what they said. Everyone was very professional which we appreciated. The price was right.

Work was exceptional. The crew was very well organized and good at their jobs. Arrived on time ready to go. Cleaned up all debris and stored equipment at end of each day. Ron, the owner, came by every day to check on progress and deliver any additional job related materials He took great pride in the quality of the work and the expertise of his crew. Ron is also a General Contractor who does other types of construction related work. Because of his integrity and professionalism, we wouldn't hesitate to call upon this company for other jobs.

Ron answered our call on the 1st ring, met with us that day to give us an estimate, and starting work that week. The price was very reasonable for the quality of workmanship. The halo roofing team is very diligent and thorough, but yet they managed to complete the project in 3 days as promised. The roof looks fantastic! We have been through 2 rain storms and no leaks anymore. We are just so happy with our perfect, new roof!

We phoned Halo Roofing for an estimate to replace our roof and Ron came out the next day. He sent an estimate the same day and dropped off a brochure detailing all of the materials that they use when replacing a roof. We had many questions and Ron spent time educating us about the materials (underlayment, leak barriers, shingles, flashing) and ridge cap venting. We collected several bids and decided that Halo Roofing was the right company for us. Everything went very fast once we made our decision, Ron's crew arrived the next week, removed our old roof, prepared the surface and installed the new roof all within two days. The crew was top notch and they did a nice job of cleaning up after themselves. The new roof looks great! Ron was a pleasure to work with and was always available whenever we had any questions or concerns.

Since I bought my house 6 months ago, I have become a general contractor myself. Since it is a fixer I had to do plumbing, electric and now roof. I have used Angies list for all of these major tasks. The contractors that I have utilized have done good jobs for the most part, but Halo Roofing is definitely a cut above all of them. Ron is the ultimate contractor who goes well above and beyond what is required of him. He is available all the time and is very prompt to respond to questions. He treats his customers like his real friends and family. I would highly recommend this company.

Ron Schwartz came to my house very quickly after I spoke to him on the phone for an evaluation of the work needed to be done, and an estimate. Ron was very pleasant and professional, and thorough in explaining all the work and answering all of my questions. I had gotten estimates from a few different contractors, and his pricing seemed to be fair for the extensive work needed. The workers started within a few days, were very professional and actually finished TWO DAYS BEFORE the estimated finish date! Ron was usually on site to oversee the project and always available to answer all questions I had during the three days of work. Ron was also very helpful in letting me know about things he discovered that also needed to be repaired or replaced, such as some of the electrical piping, which was corroded. He also offered to recommend someone to help me with this work. The roof looks great and the work is obviously very high quality. I am very satisfied with the whole experience.

After years of trouble with a leaky roof, Ron at HALO was the first guy to really diagnose the nature of the problem and fix it.On purchasing our home, we were told that a leak around the skylight had been fixed. It wasn't long before we were getting a BAD leak again, and we called in a roofer who dutifully sealed the area around the skylight at our request. We repaired our water damaged ceiling... only to suffer damage again at the next rain storm. I even considered ripping out the skylight.Ron came in and didn't just repair the skylight. He looked around and noticed... that all the work done around the light was solid. He looked at various openings and vents, came inside, and even climbed in the rafters to confirm that it was very unlikely that the skylight had anything to do with the problem. So he identified a more likely culprit and fixed that. On pulling it apart, he noticed that it was this unexpected area where the water damage was visible. Ron was very fast in getting things done. It was easy scheduling time with him, and he was very prompt both to come and look at the problem, and to follow up with the repairs. The one caution I have is that while I have great confidence that Ron finally fixed this problem which has plagued us for years, the proof will come after the next big rainstorm.

The job was completed exactly as bid and on time. The roof looks great! Ron and the guys were a pleasure to work with. Halo don't have too many reviews at the time of writing but don't let that put you off as they were thoroughly professional. It looks like they are relatively new to Angie's list. Halo were very competitive on price when we got our quotes but we chose them because their bid included higher quality materials. It is worth spending a little time doing research in advance so you know about the advantages of the different material choices. Pay particular attention to the waterproofing method that goes under the shingles.

On the weekend of 03/24/2012, we had an constant heavy rain for a few days straight, not normal for Los Angeles, California. And the week prior we had some heavy rains as well. We had just bought our house in October 2011, so this was our first real rain since we've lived here. Unbeknownst to us, apparently the roof was not so new. Under the cement tiling, a major leak, or shall I say a major pour, was happening in our guest room. Water was running in between the wall of the garage and the guest room, soaking through the paint into the house. WE COULD HEAR THE WATER RUSHING INTO THE WALLS! We didn't realize just how bad it was until after a few days as we normally keep the guest room door shut! The carpet was flooded with water and our furniture was sitting in a puddle. We got on Angie's list, and called the first company, in which I don't remember the name but had to leave a message. (They called back 2 hours later) We needed help ASAP! I scrolled down the "roofer list" and saw......HALO (great name by the way Ron!) Ron answered the phone after just a few rings.. No leaving a message, no waiting. He said he'd be there in a few hours and he was. He took me up on the roof with him and said what needed to be done, and how he was going to do it. Every step of the way, he explained everything to us in detail in such a way that I never misunderstood. The work performed was outstanding and his craftsmanship was professional, which is very hard to find these days. When talking with him, it was obvious that he knows his trade thoroughly and he explained everything from start to finish. We had no doubt that that our house was in great hands. His team of guys were friendly and hard working and they got the work done beautifully. (They always had someone near the ladder if I needed assistance to climb up when I wanted to see how it was coming along.) Ron and his crew went above and beyond to get everything done right and quick without us feeling like the job was being rushed. We will NEVER use any other person to do any work on our roof or rain gutters but Ron and his team. The job took two days and both days they left our driveway spotless. No nails or pieces of roofing materials laying around, and let me tell you, our old roof was falling apart! They even cleaned out the rain gutters too! Thank you Ron sssssooooooo much for pulling us out of the water and giving us a strong new roof. You definitely saved us!

I needed information and an estimate regarding the status of my roof and I gave a call to Halo Roofing and spoke to Ron. He made time in his busy day to come over to see my single story house and he looked at the roof and provided his professional input. I found him through a search on Angie's List and liked what I read in the comments. As I called him and talked with him about my roof, he provided easy to understand information and roof terminology. About an hour later Ron showed up and I was blown away at his responsiveness, review, evaluation and diagnosis. He provided a service that was over the top and just amazing!! I didn't get roof work done by his company yet, but will be calling him in the near future because I appreciated his integrity, information, and professionalism! Halo Roofing provides top notch service, and it's great to know there is still some good companies out there that take the time to help and assist those who have no idea about what's going on with their roof. Ron and the entire HALO Roofing crew was a pleasure to work with. The estimate was very detailed and Ron took the time to explain the different options available. He met with us multiple times in person during the proposal phase and worked with us to make sure the work performed fit in our budget. Everything was delivered as promised, on time and within budget. Ron went even above and beyond what he had promised and fixed some minor problems that were discovered during the project without extra charge. During the entire process which took only 3 1/2 days Ron was on site on many occasions to supervise the work and answer any of our questions. His supervisor and crew were courteous and professional. Each evening they cleaned up all debris. I would hire Ron and HALO Roofing again any time and will make sure to recommend him to anyone who needs a new roof. I interviewed many roofers prior to hiring HALO Roofing and I am glad I did. We have a great looking new roof, better insulation and new rain gutters all in one go.

I?m delighted with my new roof. The installation team really exceeded my expectations. I was beginning to think that it was not possible to find an honest, conscientious, professional roofing company. Thanks for restoring my faith. It was a pleasure to work with Ron and his team. He did a thorough estimate to determine the cost and time of the project (which he did not exceed!). Ron did exactly what he said he was going to do. He cleaned up after himself- I?m pretty sure that the site was cleaner when his team left each day than it was when they arrived each morning. Many companies promise this but don?t deliver. He and his team delivered! I?m great full they provided excellent service. Not only did I get a great roof but it was done with a great attitude and professionalism from the entire team. The foreman is top notch! He was so easy and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend him and his team to our friends and family who are in need of they?re services. I have already told two of our friends about them. We will definitely call on them again.
