They came out last summer and put on a new roof for me. It cost about fifteen thousand but that included a bunch of things like gutters and skylight. They did a good job but we had a problem , which I had nothing to do with. My co-owner has some plants on the property, he asked that they park the truck on the neighbour's driveway because he did not want the plants to be damaged. However if we had understood the nature of the job and how the roof was to be taken down, we would have asked them to park on our driveway because the neighbour's driveway was slightly damaged, because of the weight of the truck with the roofing material on it. The neighbours have gotten greedy and now for a hairline fracture, they want a whole new driveway. If the guy in charge had been there the day they started and told them that they didn't need to park the truck there because it's not going to go near the plants or to put some ply board under the tyres to avoid the damage. I just don't know how to rate them. The roof was good, they did a good job and an enormous amount of work. I liked the head guy but once they were done he just left, even though he promised to talk to the neighbours. I think the big problem was the supervisor guy, who was great, he was very easy to talk to. I spoke to at least seven companies and they were the one's who offered the most for my money. Their price seemed pretty good for the amount of stuff that we were getting; very high quality deluxe skylights, they put a roof vent which no one had mentioned, so it vents the air in the attic. That's a big advantage, it doesn't get so hot upstairs and it cools the house off. They used what I understood was the best material on the market, they used something instead of tar paper that seemed superior. They stuck to their budget as best as possible and were open about a couple extra expenses and let us know. I thought Herb was really knowledgeable on what he offered, he also showed samples. For example we wanted a lighter roof and he said that the companies only sold certain colours in certain zones and you can't have a different colour roof, but no one else took the time to explain that to me. I think if Herb was there initially, I wouldn't have had the headache of the driveway. The guy that supervised and was there more often, was not on Herb's level, he was just making sure that the other guys did their job. All of them were polite, they made a couple mistakes, like they removed the turbine I had, but they put back a new one and did not even charge me. With regards to responsiveness, that is the tricky part, with the driveway problem. As far as the roof went that was fine, They also really cleaned up after themselves. The only thing; and they warned me about this, was that there would be plenty of debris falling in the attic from tearing down the roof. This enormous guy crawled under there with a vacuum but it still is an enormous mess. They were always on time. The drive way thing aside, they were fine.

The Halo team was great. Avi called to schedule an appointment but because the job was so basic I simply sent him a few photos of the area that needed the gutter. We schedule an install and his guys came out and within an hour had the gutter and downspout expertly installed. Everyone on the team - from scheduling to install - were professional and friendly. Most impressive, they did not try to up-sell. I will for sure use Halo again.

Very responsive and flexible with some complicated installation issues (solar panels on garage, HVAC re-location). After teardown we discovered some minor structural issues and fixed at very reasonable cost. Plan to have them back for seamless gutter install once house is painted. Very very happy overall!

I was scheduled on a day that something unexpected turned up, and they were very accommodating and rescheduled me for the next day, no fuss, no attitude, which was really nice. When Ron actually came over he did the whole roof inspection, took pictures and explained to me with detail the issues with our roof and what my options are. Another guy came with him and did the work while he was doing the inspection, so the work was completed fast which was great. I would definitely use them if I need my whole roof replaced, but would get a couple more quotes because prices are high, but of course it's a roof replacement so I guess I should maybe expect that. The value of the deal here on Angie's list is really good though, $111 for what they did was really great.

Everything went as planned. They started on time and completed the job a day early. I would highly recommend HALO Roofing.

Ron and his assistant were great, on time, professional, helpful and they provided some roof sleep insurance for us -- we just moved into this condo and were happy to have the roof in order. Ron provided some helpful hints for the future as well. We would certainly have them back if any roof problem arises in the future.

I had to hunt down the service provider. I guess might have too much business because i was not able to book an appointment until several calls after. Once they showed up at the booked appointment. The estimator said that they would not install a 90 degree bent on the gutter. I got other quotes from other gutter companies and they all were able to do the installation with warranty.

I bought a coupon for a roof tune-up from Halo Roofing. We expected to have some minor roof repairs done as promised. Instead, Mr. Ron Schwartz told us that he couldn't perform the tune up, that we need a complete roof job. I informed him that I would have to obtain other estimates and opinions before I make my decision. He told me that the $110 will be deducted from the project if we use his company. Even though he was very professional, I told him I rather have my money back up front. He was not very knowledgeable regarding the refund process, and I feel frustrated that I bought an $110 estimate with pending obligations. In the future,I will not buy another coupon again, for I would have gotten a free estimate from any other company. Now I have to go through this process to get my money back which is time consuming.

Halo Roofing came to my home to look at the situation and provide an estimate of service. They (Avi) conducted a thorough review of the drainage situation and existing gutters, and provided me with several options. Scheduling of the service call was easy and they made sure that the date and time was convenient for me. On the day of the service, Jorge was prompt to the job site, and very pleasant to do business with. Within two hours, I had new gutters installed (that actually work - not like the old ones), the old gutters were removed, and the job site was cleaner than the way he found it. I am very happy with the service and quality that I received. Jorge was great!!

We were in need of rain gutters and downspouts around the perimeter of our 1400 foot house. We searched Angie's List and saw that Halo Roofing was having a special on rain gutters, $99 per 25-lineal feet. We thought this was a good deal and so purchased four coupons, well aware we would have an additional expense for the downspouts. Having very little faith in contractors due to prior experiences, we figured there would also be some "surprise" work that we'd need to have done or our house would blow up or something. So we braced ourselves and made the purchase. Before we scheduled the appointment, we had to install eaves on the back of our house so the gutters had something to hang on, a job my husband wished to do himself. Bless the man. Fast forward two months (after buying, painting, cutting and installing our own eaves) we made the appointment for the first estimate. On cue, they did not show up, a morning appointment for which my husband stayed home from work. As it turned out, the estimator was in a car accident on the way to our appointment! Two weeks later (we had to call to reschedule), the appointment was scheduled and the estimator came out. He was within the window of arrival. The estimate took only a few minutes, which surprised us. The estimator, Avi, actually took measurements, advised us we'd need four downspouts, which we expected, and that was it. We did not receive any dire warnings about the quality of our roof and its imminent caving nor was there any attempt whatsoever to "upgrade" the quality of our gutters or to upsell us on any aspect of work. Avi was professional, courteous and on task, and we received the estimate via email that evening and we were surprised that it was exactly what we thought it was going to be: Install 98-feet of 5-inch, white, rain gutters, already paid for via Angie's List coupon, and install (4) four downspouts at $75/per for a total of $300. Clarified via email was the fact that removal of the existing front gutters was included. A bonus as my husband would have wanted to do this himself should there be an extra charge. Bless the man. The work was scheduled quickly and the worker, Jorge, arrived within the window of time given to us. We again braced ourselves for a possible "necessary" upsell, but it never came. Prior to the arrival of Halo Roofing, we had purchased and installed four rain barrels and had them situated where we thought they should be. Jorge advised us about moving one of them and gave us a reason why, which made sense. He also moved it himself, clearing out where it would go and moved all the bricks that the barrel sat on, which was nice. Jorge also gave us advice about the nature of rain barrels of which, being rain-barrel newbies, we were unaware. Additionally, because he has a general contractor's background, Jorge gave us some advice about a water intrusion problem we've been having and what we should look for in a contractor who does that type of work and never tried to upsell us on additional work. Jorge was efficient, friendly, professional and on task. In fact, I had to ask Jorge about making the final payment for the downspouts. He said just to give Avi a call and arrange payment with him. This company is professional and gets the job done. What's even more interesting is that we are aware that we will need a new roof in the next 10-years or so, but that was never brought up by either the estimator nor the installer. We would certainly use this roofing company again.

Very prompt for estimate appointment and paperwork prior to job. Arrived at agreed time for work, called first so tenant knew they were coming. Finished work two days early. Kept area very clean, removing material as they went, picked up all nails with magnetic equipment. My tenant was very happy with job. It rained few days after new roof applied and we had noleaks, which is the main thing. Hope We don't need them for a while but would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Avi was very professional and friendly. Showed up on time and explained the process thoroughly. We scheduled the work, he emailed me an estimate invoice and his technician showed up on time and did excellent work.

We went with two other roofing quotes, and the quote I received from HALO was about 15% lower than the other two. But it was not the price that won us over with the final decision to go with HALO. First, Herb came out to do an estimate of the job. He was very friendly and spent 3 times longer on the roof than any of the other estimators. He seemed genuinely interested in coming up with the best solution on what our roof needed now and what it may need in the future. He also was willing to work with our budget without cutting corners. Our e-mail correspondences only further solidified our decision to go with Halo. Herb responded to every e-mail promptly and with such professionalism! HALO promised to finish the job within a week and they finished within 4 days. I wish I could write a more detailed response on the work itself, but honestly, the job was done so quickly and without any issue, that there wasn't anything really memorable about the work. They came in, did all the work they said they would do, cleaned up, and was out in 4 days. We plan to use HALO in the future for roof maintenance.

My home is quite a way from Halo's headquarters - perhaps the special deal should not have included Orange County as they are located on the other side of LA county. However, they honored the commitment and apparently some other OC jobs as well. He was late on the first visit - probably not familiar with the area - but on time and completed the installation very quickly the next visit. We have had one rain storm and the gutters worked!

I called the week before they showed up. The woman who set up the appointment was very helpful. They came and gave and estimate a few days later, then they showed up the next day to install. The installation was actually scheduled for a rainy day, so they showed up a day early and got the job done. I could not be more pleased.

We found this company to be very professional and responsive. We needed some minor roof repairs and new gutters installed at our rental property. Herb came out to give me a quote and then went back on his own to color match the gutters to the trim. Once we agreed on the job, Avi called to set up dates and came as scheduled and finished in one day (they quoted 1 - 2 days). Tenants said they were professional and courteous. Since this is a rental property and I am not on site every day it was easy to work with them via e-mail and credit card. I like that I could have 2 services done at one time by one vendor. We had been quoted almost $1000 for the gutters alone from another vendor. Would use them again.

I don't feel comfortable leaving a review as I did not have them do any service. But I am very disappointed that I only need 38 additional feet on top of the 125 I already purchase for $495, but they are asking me to pay another $790.

They charge us additional $225 to do the downspouts. Ultimately I don't know that I got that great of a deal to be honest with you. It was kind of I think I find that a lot of times with Angie's list offers and that and they are very incomplete in terms of what they are ultimately offering so you have to do a lot of leg work just to figure out look how much is the project really going to cost how much there is my savings really going to be. In this particular case the gutter unless you know the exact measurements and that is very difficult to do you don't know whether or not what you are paying for and it is probably my own fault in doing that, but I could have done as because the deal is not better than some different provider. It is not to say that this company didn't do a solid work and they were cooperative. The one thing I would say about this company though is we had an appointment and they showed up on the day that they were supposed to do the work. They were professional. He was nice guy and seem to be conscientiousness, but it just came down to expectation about price and how much it was really going to ultimately cost to do something. It is not that they misrepresented anything in their offer, it was clear. It was kind of my own fault. I wouldn't fault them for that. I may use them again in the future.

The sales presentation was thorough. Only one other bid I received was as comprehensive. Unfortunately, there was a lack of communication about the start date but once that was straightened out the work progressed pretty much as described by Herb. They made an effort to clean up after each day. It was discovered that a large amount of wood on the roof needed to be replaced (additional cost) but even with that chore they completed the roof in 3 days including the inspection. Their entire crew were respectful, courteous and hard working. I had a question about a specifc area that I thought needed attention. They responded that same day and thoroughly inspected the area and determined it was not a problem. I appreciated their effort in putting my mind at ease.

Halo Roofing came and did a great job on the rain gutters. Were on time and very professional. The price was right and the job was clean. They did just what they said they would. I would use them again in the future.

Very professional and extremely pleasant to work with. Ron, Herb and Glenna are wonderful. The staff were very helpful and provided great customer service. They were very knowledgeable, answered all questions, were very accommodatable to my needs and were very knowledgeable. My roof looks spectacular and I have received many compliments from neighbors and visitors on how good it looks. I would definitely recommend them.

The workers were great, they left everything clean. Ron was excellent. They did a perfect job.
