it just went straight as planned, no major issues, they handled little details that were not planned at no extra - cost which is a big PLUS for a contractor, usually when they are inside your house they will charge you for any single thing. Shai Dean Mordekgai was my project manager, very professional, on time and highly reliable. He answered txt and email at any time even after I paid in full what was due. The only downside of this company, they won't come if the job is small. They are looking for big thing only. I will use them again in the future,

Avi Ben-Shabat was the contractor and even accompanied me to pick out the tub, faucets cabinets, lights and tile. He was knowledgeable and made excellent suggestions. When the tile arrived, it was not the same color as the sample and Avi shopped for other choices until I was satisfied. I was thrilled with the finished job and it was done in the time promised.

The story has not finished. The main portion is still in the future.

Tommer Moalem was our project manager; he came out on a weeknight at around 7:00, after we had asked to reschedule a previous appointment. He was prompt, polite and very honest. His estimate, and what it was based on, was not news to us. I had done some work myself, in other parts of our place, and was aware that there were issues. Particularly with electrical, plumbing, and a lack of flat flooring and square corners; I knew this would be a "ground up" remodel. The work was begun at our convienence, conducted so as not to disrupt our household, and completed on time. The crew communicated what they would be doing, when they would be done, and what would be next, every day. This was particularly important as our place is a townhome and we can't just turn off the water to do plumbing work, it has to be scheduled so the impact on our neighbors is minimal. The work was immaculate and of the highest quality, including them cleaning everything up when they were done. I would recommend this firm to anybody who wants to get the job done exactly right, and right on time.

The work was excellent and quickly done. We needed the room fixed up because we were due to have a baby mid-March (she actually came March 8 and is the reason for the slightly delayed review) and needed extra space for visiting family. Not only did they do a beautiful job, they finished the room ahead of schedule, which was a blessing considering we needed the room earlier than anticipated. The crew was incredibly polite, used mats to cover the walkways in the house, used the garage for passage as often as possible, and cleaned up after themselves every day. Tomer, the person we actually negotiated with and the foreman for the job, was here to check on the progress every day. He returned our calls promptly and answered any and all questions we had thoroughly. We did have a concern about how the paint looked in one part of the room and they rushed back while I was still in the hospital with the baby to make sure it was fixed before I came home. We were so pleased with their work that we have contracted with them to replace the sliding glass doors in the kids' rooms this month and install a new a/c and heating system in the spring. Moreover, we plan to use them for a bathroom remodel next year.

Prior to you starting my remodel I heard horror stories about contractors, but I have to say that I do not have a single one; and I often say how much I love my contractor. Now that the job is done, I have to say Green Works exceeded every expectation. I am very pleased with the quality of work and services. I enjoyed working with Eyal (the job forman) and the crew who recognized my needs, and was able to follow through with my decisions, and my changing decisions; for which most I was not charged. I think the final confirmation that Green Work?s work is a step above the rest came directly from the City inspectors. Their comment about the job was, "You don't see quality work like this anymore. We are very impressed". I agree. Throughout the construction, and working with change orders, the professionalism of Green Works was evident. Eyal communicated with me regularly, and I always knew what the status of the work was. Whenever I had comments or questions about specific aspects of the remodel, Eyal was extremely responsive. His motto was ?whatever the customer wants?, and it showed in how pleasant he was to work with. And I have to thank Eyal for his patience with me, as I am extremely particular and a bit of a backseat driver, and his contributing ideas, especially the roof line change over the garage that made my dream idea of my house become my house. This cooperative spirit allowed my dream house to come to fruition. The final thing that sticks in my mind is that no matter what I asked for, and I always ask for a lot, the response was always without hesitation ?Sure, we can do that?, and that didn?t mean that it would cost more money is was just that would do it for me. I have been receiving continuous complements regarding the new look of you house and excellent workmanship. I love my new home and am extremely proud to show it off. I happily and enthusiastically recommend Green Works Construction without reservation. Any future projects will definitely include Green Works Construction.

My husband and I hired green works construction to redo our master bathroom, we shopped around and got numerous estimates before we decided to go with them, I've always been skeptical about contractors from stories Ive heard, but after meeting different ones and getting numerous quotes we figured to go with our gut feeling and had hoped that it wouldn't betray us. And thank god it didn't!!! Our master bathroom came out more beautiful than I imagined it! The work was all done on time, the price was reasonable ( i know that from the comparesment to the other quotes) Tom the contractor was very knowledgeable and patient with us, he explained the entire process step by step and was always available to answer our questions. I will definitely use them In the future! Glad my first experience with a contractor was a good one!

It took about four weeks to complete the entire house. There were a few set backs, but not the fault of the company. The guys that I dealt with were very nice and knew their craft. I would use the company again. I am more than happy with all the work that was done. My house looks beautiful.

We wanted to express how pleased we are with the results of the addition to our house. The contractor, Avi Ben Shabat, was excellent. He was always available and despite unexpected complications, the timeline was on target throughout the four months of construction. Customer service was given emphasis from the very beginning. Avi patiently answered our many questions. He really listened to us and with his professional experience continually improved the design and value of our home. We trusted his judgment and his attention to details created beautiful results. He went beyond the call of duty so many times which made our life easier during the project. It was important with our family to have the site clean as much as possible at the end of the day. The crew was amazing in this regard. They also were polite and hard working. We have no doubt that we hired the best and will definitely continue the relationship for future jobs. October 2012 we did hire Green Works Construction again to remodel the remaining bathroom. They did an excellent job on a timely basis.

Work was done on time and very clean. Very responsive to our questions and changes. Very professional.

I recently had a poor experience with another salesman, but my experience with Green Works was much better! They were on time and gave me a quote right away. They did not have high-pressure sales tactics and gave me a written quote, which I greatly appreciated.

They should not be stalking people for work.

I was dealing with a very professional, caring contractor, I was treated with respect the contractor wasn't pushy I gave him a budget to work with and he suggested the best solutions, he gave me different options and ideas, I am happy with the outcome and would refer family and friends.

I been wanting to do my kitchen for 3 years now, but I couldn't afford to spend over 16k because i didn't have this kind of money saved up.Thankfully when the contractor came to me and asked if I mind to take a loan and pay no interest on it for 12 months I couldn't believe its even possible I was stunned to actually know that 0% exist to borrowers like me.so I didn't have $16,000 but I did put $5,000 out of my pocket so I financed the rest.I can't be more happy with the outcome and the service I received, it exceeded all my expectations, and I enjoy my new kitchen.The materials that they use was high quality so it can last you for many years to come.will recommend friends and family it was a pleasure to do business with you

my experience was very good with greenworks, the contractor name I believe was Tom and he did a great job with managing the crew and to finish it was soon as possible because my husband and I was leaving to europe and we wanted to do the project when we get back but he suggested that since thats something we want to do we shouldn't wait and he promised me he will finish before we leave, and he did 5 days before our flight everything was ready clean, dry. The house looks like a brand new house. I am thankful to greenworks for the great job they did on my house.Looking forward to work with you in the future.

The contractor Avi was very nice always came on time with his crew, stood behind what he promised, whatever he said he will do he did I felt very comfortable working with him and trusted his judgement my kitchen came out better that I expected, he has a sense of style, helping me choose based on my needs. I was treated with respect by the whole company constantly followed up with me to make sure, everything went smooth and I was satisfied with the job.THank you for the great kitchen looking forward to work with you in the future

He does what he says and he does not gouge the price. He shows up on time and watches over his workers. He is very trustworthy as well.

I scheduled an appointment with this company on a Thursday for the next day at noon. At 12:45 the day of my appointment they still had not shown up. I called to ask what happened and was told that they called me at 9 or 10 to confirm the noon appointment and because I didn't answer they didn't send anyone out. This is for an appointment scheduled less than 24 hours in advance. I spoke with the man who set the appointment and instead of apologizing he started making excuses. I remembered that this had happened several months prior with the same company and said this. Mr. Goldman told me that they had never done any work for me before. This is true because the last time I scheduled with them they first gave me a hard time about my husband not being at the appointment and when they scheduled the same thing happened - they called the morning of and because I didn't pick up they didn't show up. I won't make the same mistake again. I should have checked Angie's List before I scheduled the appointment. My experience is that they are good at telemarketing but lousy at getting to the site and quick to blame the customer. Waste of time.

At our request we were able to delay the work with no difficulty. All work done in a timely fashion, neat clean-up. Polite workers - when unforeseen things came up, they were resolved with no extra cost.

I was called by this company in a telemarketing fashion. The woman really wanted to get them over here for an estimate for "anything we wanted to do " and that they were having a sale on "everthing" for "30% off". I told here that all I wanted was an estimate for a roof we would most certainly be needing soon. I have been in the process of researching companies and my husband had already gotten one quote. The woman kept asking me when my husband would be home with me. I finally said that if getting a quote was contingent upon us being together for a " hard sell" to forget it. We were getting quotes and my husband was perfectly happy trusting me to gather quotes by myself . Unless they had some ulterior motive and were expecting us to sign that day to, again, forget it. She asked me to hold for a while and returned to set the appointment . Then a few days before that appointment she called to say that, unfortunately, without my husband, they would not come! ! I told her to notify them that I was going to tell everyone that there is something shady about a company that uses business practices like these and that I was going to tell as many people as I could about the way they do business. She said it had nothing to do with the fact that I was a woman and they wouldn't come even if it were a quote for my husband without me. When I called back later that day to ask her another question, I was interrogated by by three people,and after leaving me my name and number, I never received a call. Up until then, she had called me several times and returned my calls every time. Here ye, here ye! I would never use this company for anything! And after looking on Angie's list to research them, after this debacle, and seeing the only review was an "F", I think that speaks volumes. Don't you? Isn't that why why use this service in the first place?

At 11:45, Avi Ben-Shabat showed up to give me the estimate. He was nice at first but things went downhill from there. Avi took some measurements and then took his laptop out to show me some projects he had worked on. The stuff was nice, basic construction. I explained to him I was only shopping around and not ready to get started and he got visibly irritated. I asked him to give me a ball park figure for a basic 15' X 15' redwood enclosure, which he estimated would cost around $9800. I had no idea if that was a good or bad price so I nodded and said "hmmm". He then said, "So what is that? hmmm?" I said I was just contemplating the price and I could tell he was getting more and more aggravated. Avi then asked me why his office approved him coming out to my house if both my partner and myself were not going to be present. How was I to know? I explained to him that the guy on the phone was going to call back to let me know if it was OK for me to be here alone during the meeting, but never did. So he then decided to call his office and put them on speakerphone asking why they approved the meeting. The guy at the office flat out lied and said I told him both my partner and myself would be here, obviously trying to keep from getting in trouble or maybe that is just how their operation works. Nonetheless, I was finished at this point. Even if Avi had been annoyed with is office, a professional would have finished the meeting and then called, and certainly without putting anyone on speakerphone. Totally unprofessional. So I got up from the table and politely and firmly asked him to leave. He stood there and said "What?". I told him I could see how things would go with him and his office if I had hired them. I told him it was too much drama already. He then turned ugly. He told me "maybe you like drama?" I said "OK that enough, please leave. You are insulting me in my own home and your office lied, so this meeting is over." He then said he thought I was the one that was lying and that he records all the calls to his office. I told him that was great and to go back to his office and listen to his messages, but that will be the last time he ever hears my voice. I am completely blown away that a company that makes cold calls, especially in this economy, would be so argumentative, rude and unprofessional. I realized also, Green Works is doing construction on a house down the street. The project has been going on close to a year now. The poor couple that hired them. Do yourself a HUGE favor and stay away from this company.

They completely gutted my kitchen and threw things out that could have been reused as they were not old. Went almost 2 weeks after that before they showed up again. They came sporadically throughout three months to finish it and just ignored my complaints. Head electrician was a joke. Different workers would show up. Paint job was lousy and the paint peeled off. Had to hire someone else to repaint the kitchen. They broke a light and said they couldn't fix it. They broke a wheel on my refrigerator and promised to replace it and haven't. Took care of it myself finally. Talked to the owner of the company several times and he promised to take care of things but he hasn't. Everytime I call now he's not in and does not return my calls. I would never recommend this company or anyone who works for them.
