Ferguson's inspector failed to provide adequate information for installation crew. Two crews were scheduled for the job, only one crew showed up. Crew took 4 hours to hang main hood, then realized they had installed equipment in the wrong order. Couldn't complete work and blamed company's own inspector for failure to provide adequate information. Ferguson offered to pay for custom vent work, but sent a crew to my home unscheduled and with no business license or insurance. I turned them away and called "Mort" at Ferguson who apologized and said "It must be someone the installer knows personally." Company repeatedly pushes the issue down to the installer who takes several days to return phone calls and is responsible for improper installation. Second company confirmed hood was improperly installed and would have to be removed and re-installed. Requested full refund of installation fee. Company seems preoccupied with new store opening in Woodland Hills.
